Man, how is it possible to have such inconsistent gameplay? It’s just crazy how poor the gameplay is. I don’t know if it’s the server or the code that’s clearly broken, but you say you’re going to listen to the community. How are you going to do that if it’s impossible to identify what’s wrong with this game? Some matches have smooth and enjoyable gameplay, but most of the time, it’s awful. When you experience this poor gameplay, everything feels off—your defense is lacking, your attacking runs are nonexistent, and dribbling feels terrible. When people encounter this, they start complaining about the gameplay, and then you patch something on top of a broken game. So, please fix the inconsistent gameplay before you patch more things.
And for the community, understand that most of those games where frustration runs high are likely due to your experience in a bad gameplay match. You all must identify when the game is good versus when it is bad, so stop asking for specific fixes. They need to focus on providing us with a consistent gaming experience before anything else.

That dribbling nerf was much needed. They just need to nerf secondary press and tackling. Everything should have a counter. Nothing should be overpowered.
Dribbling didnt need a nerf defending just needed a buff. you are the reason we are forced to play this current nonsense. Everyone just quits now. dont blame them. the game is boring. impossible to play more then 2-3 games right now.
For you maybe. For sweats maybe. For those who wanted an authentic online simulation this is practically perfect! Well done, EA.

You made this game very difficult for casual players. In 1 or 2, only pro players would play this much. you can't defend and everyone is spinning with r1. Year after year you make it more and more impossible to play, harder and harder. In a few years only YouTubers and Pro players will be playing it.
The game is not difficult, it's boring and unintresting... The early access was hard but fun to play.

Great work EA listening to the community and not just the sweats. Good update. A step in the right direction. But pls fix fidget spinners next.
Fidget sppining is still way too op and unrealistic. Defending against that is still impossible as it has been nerfed to the ground. Now nxt step is finding a way to nerf the fidget spinners so that defenders have a fair n equal opportunity.
Dribbling is still op and the defense is unable to keep up.
Current state only streamers n sweats keep abusing the left stick mechanic and others is interested to play.
Tackles spamming shouldn’t work. There shouldn’t be 1 broken mechanism in the game. Everything should be balanced. Rn tackling is broken. There’s a high probability of winning the ball back even when not properly timed.
Manual defending is really close. Once secondary press is nerfed then there won’t be any AI assistance.
The tackling you are talking about isn't really tackling, it's a result of AI defending (Auto everything) Manual tackling esp if you used your CBs is still not rewarding.
Manual Defending will never exist until AI parking the bus assissted defence is completely gone.
I mean if you want skill spamming or r1-adhd to remain a thing, then having a park the bus broken mechanism as well shouldn’t be an issue? I, personally, play tiki-taka so I don’t have any issues scoring.
Tackling, tho… I agree. I don’t engage in tackles, I’ve understood to anticipate and quickly switch to other players to position them in a way to block passes or for them to be close enough to stop players when I’ll need them to.
No, I'm against r1-adhd despite having ADHD and skill spamming which is something I've never mentioned but you keep bringing everytime around everyone...
No one of these 3 should be in the game which is why the first early access patch meant something.
And I'm not a skiller either, I also prefer tiki taka goals which is one of the reasons I enjoyed the early access gameplay, now tiki taka while is still possible but not as fluid to due super slow gameplay and AI Parking the bus.
That's also a problem where I have to sit there and anticapte or block when it should be a perfect moment to commit a tackle.
Due to the AI CDM bs, sometimes even Anticpating or Blocking won't work because you will still get likely punished for controlling your CBs.

I don’t know then, mate! It still works for me. There’s less hassle and way more fun seeing the players attempt a skill move when they have a clear scoring chance if they pass the ball, but don’t. Like every game they’re turning in circles in vain. They try to defend with their CDMs in vain. You can just draw them to the wings and from there it’s cake to beat the CBs.

The point is I'm trying to make was it's still incosistent and still AI heavy unlike early access, the patch prior to this was bad but this wasn't good either.
I'd give a more detailed poat later.
And again I'm talking about defending scenarios not attacking, I could beat them with this update but the issue is with how you beat them
