I wanted to share an idea that could add a ton of realism to EA Sports FC without breaking authenticity or licenses.
Right now, the game only gives us the Home, Away, and Third kits — but in real life, clubs often wear approved alternate combinations depending on opponents.
🔴 Example:
• Manchester United sometimes wear red shirts with black shorts (instead of white).
• Everton occasionally use blue shirts with blue shorts instead of blue and white.
These are official variations used in real matches, yet we can’t select them in-game.
💭 Proposed solution:
Instead of adding a full mix-and-match system, just give each team 1–2 extra kit slots for official alternates.
Example for Manchester United (2025/26 kits):
1️⃣ Home – Red/White
2️⃣ Away – White/Purple
3️⃣ Third – Black/Black
4️⃣ Alternate A – Red/Black
5️⃣ Alternate B – White/White
This would:
✅ Keep licensing and authenticity intact
✅ Improve realism for Career Mode and Kick-Off
✅ Require minimal change to the current system
Would love to see this added in a future update — it’s a small change that would make a huge difference for immersion.
