This is a tough one to write, but I think it needs to be said.
I used to genuinely have fun with this game. We even had a WhatsApp group of 30 people who all played together, sharing clips, giving each other tips, and hyping each other up.
We were all incredibly enthusiastic and bought into the vision for the next iteration. We were all hyped up for the new product, FC 26, because of all the promises that the developers would finally listen to the community and address the long-standing issues.
The Reality Check
It’s only been a few weeks, but the excitement has completely evaporated. Instead of a fresh start, we're stuck in the same frustrating cycle:
Same old OP mechanics that dominate the meta.
Glitches and exploits that competitive players immediately latch onto.
The ever-present feeling of scripting, DDA, and inconsistent, unfair gameplay.
A horrendous and stressful experience that makes you dread turning on the console.
What was once a social activity that gathered 30 friends to have fun has now become a miserable, toxic battlefield. The joy of playing is replaced by endless bullying, griddy celebrations, and snake celebrations.
A Sarcastic "Bravo"
So, to the incompetent developers who promised change but delivered the same broken product: Bravo.
You've managed to kill the collective excitement of a large group of loyal players and turn our shared hobby into a source of stress and anger. This feels like the end of an era for many of us.
