We really had the best gameplay in years and now it’s probaly the worst ever. If ea doesn’t remove the changes from this patch and make attacking possible again the game is dead. Never have I put so much time in a fifa game and that’s because I actually enjoyed the gameplay. People are talking about adapting to this new gameplay, but why adapt to a slow and boring gameplay when we actually had fun, fast and responsive gameplay before the patch? Let people adapt to the original gameplay instead of completely taking away the aspects off the game that was actually fun and enjoyable. #removethepatch

Skill spammers in the mud. All you need to do now is to time your run and make an acc good pass. Let them nerf that fidget spinning as well and it acc turns into a football game. EA could turn this into the best FIFA ever.

Game is literally a full force park the bus simulator, the skill gap on defense is almost non existent and well timed runs are only made if you trigger players which can still be tracked and intercepted by AI, on the other hand there's no proper attacking AI to compensate how broken AI defending is.

They have already buffed Jockey, made dribbling with R1 dead for now + AI already carries your backline, I just don't get how anyone would see the current state of the game anything close to balanced or fun. 😂

Do you even fathom football? Have you ever played football irl?

This is easy now. Unless, you were a skill spammer and don’t know how to make proper runs or how to draw players without ball hogging then, it isn’t ‘fun’. For the rest of us, long ball strategy or tiki-taka works perfectly. Sure, the network issues sometimes affect the passes but, it’s so enjoyable tactically outclassing your opponent.

Key word: tactically.

This has all to do with football and nothing to do with having R1/R3 adhd.

With the current patch I’m only 2 wins away from div 1. The fact that skill-spamming and, other arcadey and non-football like gestures are practically useless makes it easy to win the matches. People with little football iq or commonly termed as ‘sweats’ are so in the mud.

Fidget sppining is still way too op and unrealistic. Defending against that is still impossible as it has been nerfed to the ground. Now nxt step is finding a way to nerf the fidget spinners so that defenders have a fair n equal opportunity.

Dribbling is still op and the defense is unable to keep up.
Current state only streamers n sweats keep abusing the left stick mechanic and others is interested to play.

You do realize that this is a video game and it was advertised to have an authentic mode where people like you which want such lame experience can play, UT is supposed to be arcady, competitive and fun, I play in the Elite Division where 90% of the people there mostly know how to use the game's mechanics in their favor, so almost every single game is nothing short from holding midfielders and have 20 players in their own box, I know how to win games but it's just not fun to play.

There are no tactical approaches like you assume, just a full on brick wall of defense and you have to either counter or keep recycling twenty times to break someone down if you took a bit of time to build up

0 creativity, just the same goals over and over again, you don't get rewarded for making the right decisions mostly because the game would still interfere somehow.

Not a single person that enjoys FC26 right now is actually good at it or even has valid points to defend how the game feels atm.
News flash : R1 is still getting a buff the next patch, problem still lays on how OP AI defending is which hopefully would get nerfed soon so people would actually make any effort defensively.

@spiral crane @pure hazel, acc no. The reason people complained about the arcadey bs is the reason they ever considered getting FIFA 26. People omitted 25 owing to the arcadey bs. It flopped.

If you don’t have football knowledge, and have R1/R3-adhd, it shouldn’t be rewarding to you. It is the case now. If you rely, solely and heavily, on broken mechanisms to win, then you ain’t any good. This was closer to FIFA 19, a flopped game as well.

Just learn that football is team-sport rather than a ball-hogging game and learn to play with the team, you’ll be good at it then.

The reason as of why FC25 flopped was cuz it was a clunky, unresponsive, cpu driven mess with rebounds and keepers who always saved it on the opponent feet

Guess when it got better? With a patch made in July where they put less cpu and people had fun for like a few weeks then it went back to zero

FC this year was thought on the basis of responsiveness and agility, it was publicized as such
