As I'm seeing the news that GK movement will be nerfed and don't get me wrong I don't mind GK movement going BUT with a billion line under....
PRIORITIES, ever heard of that?????
While YES I AGREE THAT GK movement shouldn't be a bail out however, what pmo with the community that they don't get that GK movement is a double edged sword that could make you concede easy goals and imo GK movment should be harder and a risker than it actually is, because anyone who plays ball knows that GKs desicions matters and it should be the same in the game but with higher risk.
Another point why I disagree with taking out GK movement first, it's doing it before AI DEFENDING, GK movement was a solution to counter cutback Timmies who have zero ball knowledge and just run down the wing but somehow EA KEEPS REWARDING THAT MORONIC GAMEPLAY, because MANUAL DEFENDING STILL SUCKS A HORSE...
because If I dragged my CBs or the closest Fullback to cover or tackle the cutback before it happens AS IT SHOULD because that's how YOU SUPPOSED TO DO IT.
But EA will punish you for any attempt stopping the 🐀 and I have a recorded clip that is one of MANY examples that you could ALSO find online how Manual defending is not rewarding.
There's a reason why many people including myself consider the "early access" gameplay being the best since almost a DECADE, one of the reasons being that Manual defending mattered that you could USE YOUR DEFENDERS to stop cutbacks and bully one-trick Timmies and the better you are defensively (like knowing how defending works irl) the less goals you concede until the Timmies who couldn't defend got exposed and cried until EA made it AI SLOPFEST all over again.
And seeing EAFC Reddit (Yeah I know that's my mistake) celebrating GK movement nerf saying garbage like "Those noobs gonna be exposed" BRUHHH
You can't talk about "defending better" when it's fully AI ASSISTED and CDM moving foolery.
Like get your priorities right.
