Remove or Significantly Rework GK Movement
The Issue: The current "GK Movement" feature undermines well-created scoring opportunities. When a player skillfully creates a clear chance, they should be rewarded with a high probability of a goal, not forced into another 50/50 situation.
The Problem it Creates: It introduces an unfair dynamic where the defender, who has already been beaten, is given a second chance to influence the outcome. This can feel particularly punishing and reduces the reward for positive, attacking play. -
Rebalance Manual Defending vs. AI Defending
The Issue: The current meta overly rewards passive defending by controlling CDMs and letting the AI-controlled defenders do the work. This makes it less profitable to actively control your defenders and read the game.
The Proposed Solution: Manual defending should be more effective and rewarding. A player who skillfully controls their defenders, maintains shape, doesn't rush out, and intelligently reads their opponent's play should have a clear advantage. This creates a more engaging and higher skill-gap experience compared to the passive "CDM-parking" style that was prevalent in FC 25. -
Revisit the Dribbling and Pace Balance Post-Patch
Pre-Patch FC 26 was a Step in the Right Direction: The gameplay before the recent patch was some of the best we've had in years. Dribbling was effective, and you could beat defenders who made poor decisions. The latest patch nerfed dribbling, making it harder to break down passive AI defenses. Instead of weakening R1 Dribbling, increase Sprint Jockey speed to match it. This preserves offensive skill and lets player ability decide attacks, not overpowered mechanics.
Summary of Key Requests:
Remove GK Movement.
Buff manual defending to make it more effective than passive AI defending.
Revert the R1 dribbling nerf and instead buff Sprint Jockey speed to create a balanced skill-based interaction.
Keep the existing glitches patched.
