Potential GK movement solution

With the feedback people have for GK movement I propose a down the middle change. Make it so GKs can only be moved for penalties, freeKick situations and corners.

What's wrong with keeper movement it's another thing to get good at, yet again this community wanting to take the skill gap away even more then it has with this new patch

In open play it shouldn't be a thing. During corners and free kicks that's fine.

It's another for crutch for players that aren't good at actually defending. If your beat and the attacker has a chance it should be up to the attacker to score.

If you want to use your keeper they should make it where you have to press select and manually dive too

Goal keeper movement is brainless because the goalie can be moved after the shot is powered up so you cannot reaim. Unless they can make it where goalies can’t move after shot power is chosen it’s just a braindead mechanic for noobs that get cooked and need to be bailed out

Its not a skill gap, it’s basically gambling. If you outplay some AI defending 🐀 then they should be saved by a gamble.

And don’t forget when the gameplay is bad, it’s impossible to wait long with delay

i dont mind keeper movement mainly bc I actually predict like 80% of the time where my opponent will be shooting before they even shoot

The real issues in this game is dda and ai defending reduce both of them by far and leave keeper movement and this game would be a hell of a lot better

Either way it’s a braindead mechanic. Imagine goalies doing this IRL. They don’t because it’s dumb. It literally just relies on the fact that we play online with ping and therefore can’t make readjustments quick enough due to server lag.

Either remove it completely OR have it so GK movement completely disconnects the rest of your players, no AI defending, nothing

I shouldn’t have to fight to beat the drop back and then have to watch for GK movement whilst still trying to dodge the AI defence

There is zero skill in being able to move your keeper whilst the CB presses an attacker automatically

No there is definitely dda, explain why, my opponents ai with a really poor team is unbelievable then all of a sudden it turns off slightly I score 6 goals then it turns back on and heavy and I can't even get out my own half

I would copy the function from eFootball, moving the goalkeeper like in Club Pro, you decide how to stop it

I score so many goals when they move GK on corners. Same with penalties and freekicks. GK movement when 1-1 situation from open play I use precision shooting anyway.

gk movement should be completely removed for outfield plays, its crazy that you can get completely open and he moves the keeper and you miss a wide open shot in the box. although its free goals against some people because they move too early, this bail out mechanic shouldnt be in the game. when you get in a clear scoring oppurtunity, and the shooting far post for example is obvious, there shouldnt be a bail out.
