With every patch since the very beginning we are getting more and more automated defensive systems that require less and less skill to stop an attack.
All low-skilled players keep crying that defending is so “hard” and everyone concedes 10 goals per match. Instead of at least fixing kick-off and nerfing attacking mechanics such as R1, you keep making the defense more and more automated, removing any need for actual skill to defend, just like in FC 25 which was simply unplayable.
This is supposed to be competitive gameplay where players compete with their skill, not where bots defend better than humans!
AI defenders are insanely overpowered. They literally mirror every move of the attacker and stick to them even without any user input from the defending side. It feels disgusting and kills any motivation to play this game competitively. With every patch attacking becomes harder and harder, and instead of enjoying the gameplay you have to sweat like crazy around the box just to get a chance to score. All because the defensive algorithms and AI are way too strong.
Who asked you to nerf R1 dribbling? This mechanic has never been overpowered in this game.
Lower the defensive AI! Stop nerfing attacking mechanics, otherwise this game will stop bringing any enjoyment and people will leave early, just like they did with FC 25.
