When EA release a patch that changes attacking, avoid adjusting defending until the next patch - and vice versa. This approach would make it much easier to achieve proper overall balance.
Right now, attacking feels too nerfed, while defending feels overpowered.
For example: let’s say tactical sprint was at a 8 on a balance scale (where 1 = useless and 10 = overpowered). You decide it’s too strong, so you nerf it down to a 2. Meanwhile, jockeying was weak at a 2, so you buff it up to a 8. Now the situation is flipped - jockeying feels overpowered compared to tactical sprint.
If you focused on just one side (say, defending) per patch, you could tune jockeying up to a balanced 8, matching tactical sprint. That way, both systems balance each other naturally instead of constantly overshooting in opposite directions.
