Hello EASPORTS,
Two days after the release of the last update, I wanted to share my thoughts.
The improved manual defending introduced with the recent update was a great idea. Selecting a defender and manually trying to recover the ball is more rewarding than before, where incorrect animations or rebounds could create situations that didn't encourage manual defending.
The downside of this update, however, is easily identifiable after just a few matches. The offensive phase from the start of FC26 has been significantly weakened compared to the previous installment, and controlled dribbling (R1 Dribbling) was the right compromise for attacking space and the ability to frustrate pressing and reckless runs by opposing defenders. Despite the lack of “time finishing” and “sprint boosts”, the game, up until the update, offered a pleasant and rewarding balance. At all skill levels, the game has been considered one of the best in recent years, although there will always be a segment of people who complain because they don't accept their limitations and don't experience video games with the right spirit.
My position is clear, lucid, and informed. I'm confident this feedback will provide you with the tools to decide on better changes for future updates.

Great work EA listening to the community and not just the sweats. Good update. A step in the right direction. But pls fix fidget spinners next.
Fidget sppining is still way too op and unrealistic. Defending against that is still impossible as it has been nerfed to the ground.
