You need to get a handle on these massive market fluctuations. Impossible to progress in this game because I keep losing coins to discord traders and that’s not how this game is supposed to work. This isn’t supposed to be a real market it’s a video game, get a handle on it and make it fun again

I understand how the market works u child I just think that making sure that some select people don’t get info that could help them invest and they don’t charge other people for it and it gets in the way of casual non paying players then I have an issue

It’s not enough to know how the market works you have to know stuff far in advance that you can’t possibly know while also maintaining other life skills which u probably lack

Surely you can understand and empathize enough to understand that most of the people that play this game are young fans that want to play with their dream players. That was how it was when I was younger. There is no possible way that you can manipulate this market without a) paying for knowledge from a discord server or b) spending an ungodly amount of time on the game. Both of which are incredibly detrimental to a healthy lifestyle because either you’re spending too much time on a game or spending money on one

Good for you I’m glad you made a profit I’m talking about the sudden overnight spiking and dropping of players like govou and giuly where discord servers tell users to jump on it and it causes an insane fluctuation of demand on an already small market for these cards. Now if you want to use one of these cards on the weekend you lose a ton of coins in the end. Maybe some things aren’t about you and your personal experience. I have also made a fair profit trading BUDDY but I don’t put other people down flexing it. I think about the fact that the main way you should make coins and improve your team is by PLAYING not dumb trading. If I wanted to trade I’d go to Robinhood

I don’t even know what you’re saying anymore but ur not reading what I’m saying to you. I’ll summarize: just because you profit of a system doesn’t mean the system isn’t broken. If you disagree and think the system is fine then say that instead of saying something antagonistic like “it’s your fault you don’t understand.” That’s just childish. If you’re talking about the real stock market then yes, insider trading does happen in a similar fashion. But it is ILLEGAL for a reason. You cannot profit off of insider information that the public doesn’t get that’s illegal.

If you’re talking about the fact that teams buy players then ur deluded bc this is a game that should progress when you play while in real life the same teams with the same big budgets have been good for as long as I can remember. It’s so different too because in real life there aren’t multiple versions of the same player. This system is closer to the stock market than to the transfer market. I don’t think YOU understand the market at all. If you want to simulate the real transfer market play career mode that’s an incredibly dumb argument.

from what I can gather your main problem is inside information? but than you also just touch on the market being bad. so honestly idk what your exact argument is.
it seems like you're blaming EA for you not being able to read the market and get out of your investments at good times. this is also not the leakers fault.

Obviously 'insider trading' isn't acceptable nor should it be. ESPECIALLY because they're literally financially profiting from it.. it's not just in game coins.
I'm sure the whole community can agree on that.
what the FC ultimate team market is does in fact reflect what happens in the real football world with fluctuating prices of players.
bro obviously the number of players need to match the number of clubs ( us as players) so it's the same scenario just 10000x over. if you don't comprehend the concept of the ultimate team market which has been successful ever since it's released it's not a problem with the market but with you. sorry. it's never meant to be a direct reflection of a realistic transfer market but it has all the aspects just exasperated to fit the model. sell players to buy in demand players to compete to be the best team. sounds similar to real life no?

No I think I would know what I’m saying BUDDY. I’m saying that the leakers effect on the market is detrimental to the game and directly affects coin losses of other players who don’t have access to these discords.

My proposed solution is if these coders really are so loose with the info and selling it for profit give them more content to code and let them decipher which one is real.
