Its not about the R1 Dribbling. Its about the absolutely insane defensive AI. People will now sit back even more and only counter, it's terrible. This game is now totally one dimensional. Posession based gameplay is dead, 433s are dead, nerfing R1 in combination with buffing Jockey was absolutely unnecessary and the game feels so slow in general. I even saw AI CDMs falling back between the opponents CBs to cover the space.... this whole game is an AI driven mess now and the fact that you can't technical with a guy like Olise is absolutely unacceptable. In this game he dribbles like a fat Sunday league player now, while in real life he basically dribbles super fast. Its insanely bad.

Not only that. Defense has so much higher speed now than attackers its insane.
Football always is about the the attacker having an action and the defender has to react, not the other way around. Now the defender basically always is in an advantage if it's not a counter.

This is a step in the right direction. Good update. But EA please fix fidget spinners next.
However the fidget sppining is still way too op and unrealistic. Defending against that is still impossible as defending has been nerfed to the ground.
The next step is finding a way to nerf the fidget spinners so that defenders have a fair and equal opportunity.
The dribbling is still op responsive and the jockey is unable to keep up.
In this current state only streamers and sweats keep abusing the left stick mechanic and nobody else is interested to play.

Idk what div you're playing in but Elite and Div 1 only has counter rats left and right. Nobody even tries to move there anymore. Your request for a nerf just created a one dimensional game already that everyone now plays the same way, with the same formation and same instructions. Before nearly 10 formations in high divisions were usable, now only 451 is left. All the diversity is gone @upper kestrel
