The fk you on about, R1 was an option to use while attacking and can be used in certain situations other situation you may quick pass and moves or trigger and run and send it through. But now none of it because the game is so slow and manual defending has just gone. Game is imbalanced and the skill gap has just disappeared

Defenders should have too R1 defending.

I think defending the franchise as all is criminal for a few years now, its also easier to say that about the balance then to do, specially when a big part of the community had already made their mind prior to patch that one would destroy the game, as to the games from 20 years they obviously are not even close to this, actually played recently the 17(probably my favorite ever) and it felt underwhelming, games just upgrade even if not as much as we would like as a community. With that said the patch balanced the game even if you think more could have been done, and that is understandable

Perhaps, but we where also younger and the game was much less competitive, with almost nun competitive scene, the gaming community as all become more competitive to be honest, and with that the exploits and repetition of broken movement that when against you spoil the fun, I remember having lots of fun just running straight with gervinho and there was nothing my opponent could do to stop it, today it would have us fuming because every play would be like that, so we are also blinded by nostalgia when we think of old games. Fidget sppining is still way too op and unrealistic. Defending against that is still impossible as it has been nerfed to the ground.

Now nxt step is finding a way to nerf the fidget spinners so that defenders have a fair n equal opportunity.

Dribbling is still op and the defense is unable to keep up.
Current state only streamers n sweats keep abusing the left stick mechanic and others is interested to play.
