make sure all your versions of EA are closed in the task manager. end every EA related task. should connect no problems

i normally open it on the EA app but downloaded it on Steam

Try this, this is a fix for disconnecting in games but it assentially removes caches in the game - Make sure the EA app isn't running in the background. Task manager and end task on any EA related tasks.
Go to the C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\ - right click Delete this folder, empty recycling bin and open the EA app again. It will ask you to sign in again. Open FC26 and the game shouldn't disconnect anymore.
