R1 press and AI DEFENDING

I dont understand how you guys release a patch further improving defending. Day 1 was good because attacking ai was good players made runs into spaces. You could actually create chances against these ai DEFENDING cdm rats. Now its impossible to create chances even if my players have 99 dribbling and 99 passing because Everytime im in the box theres 4 players surrounding me and i get tackled by a player thats cpu controlled. Its embarrassing these patches. I went from playing 10+ games in the first week to not touching this game for a week and a half because of how boring it is. This is turning into fc25. I wonder who they're listening to, to create these stupid patches

attacking ai still isnt good what are you talking about and it hasnt been good in years

It's much better than it has been in the last couple years. The whole game was near perfect during early access. The first couple of patches ruined things with the defensive AI buffs.

I completely agree with you, haven't touched the game in over a week because it's the same story every time.

yes it’s better than the previous years but that’s because they made defending fully manual and the ai worse not really the attacking ai, they still (especially wingers and wide midfields) just sit there and do nothing, strikers and midfielders don’t run into open lanes and will stop and run back towards your own goal after they hit their pitch limit and when u do trigger a run they stop running fully after they bump into players. they need to bring back how players reacted in attack from back in the day when players made smart and unique runs

Agreed. But the game we have now feels like fc25. And im not going to play that kind of defensive gameplay again.

Great work EA listening to the community and not just the sweats. Good update. A step in the right direction. But pls fix fidget spinners next.
Fidget sppining is still way too op and unrealistic. Defending against that is still impossible as it has been nerfed to the ground.

Now nxt step is finding a way to nerf the fidget spinners so that defenders have a fair n equal opportunity.

Dribbling is still op and the defense is unable to keep up.
Current state only streamers n sweats keep abusing the left stick mechanic and others is interested to play.

defending is too easy now to the point where i’m finishing each game with like 70 possession. i’m climbing div 1 rn undefeated but it’s not fun
