The mechanic is still horribly balanced. I shouldn't be losing because my opponent randomly moves and i have no time to react.

Corners have almost been removed from the game by keeper movement.

It’s not a skill to guess a 50/50 direction that your opponent goes… it’s a guess. You can’t “get better at it”

It's not even a guess. It's just moving back to the middle or into the open space. It's not even a difficult thing to do once you know the angles.

It's about as nonsensical as full power through balls still being a thing.

How about we focus first on MANUAL DEFENDING being fixed then talk about Keeper movment

When manual defending and tackling isn't rewarding, it's only recently where the fixed Brusier but it's still not enough as it's only effective against girls.

I would agree if we were in FIFA 19, but we're not and wrong movement can be a 100% (sometimes 90% if DDA was on your side) conceded goal

Because in many plays, it's 100% guaranteed that the goalkeeper will save. You outplay the opponent, so he can get away with it, lol.

The bs is coming from players playing deep and counter attacking the entire time with their fidget spinners.

The only way to play against that is mimicking the playstyle or getting lucky from a defensive mistake.

Keeper movement is just a left over crutch.

Getting rid of it and forcing players off this ridiculous and boring counter meta by reducing all gameplay assist settings and AI defender engagements will force people to actually try playing football and move away from FC25.

I'm fine w low blocks but they should be totally manual, if you sit deep you have to be great at switching, else you concede easily, selecting only cdms shouldn't save you, that and second man press

Because I actually control my defenders and can accept being beaten in open play.

I definitely move them on set pieces because it makes sense there.

Its not about accepting being beaten, the keeper is your 11th player and you should be able to use him

Then just like it was in the past you should have to press a button to switch to them with the icon showing overhead and the other 10 players are left to the AI and practically useless.

There's no reason why I need to keep an eye out for the 2-3 players closing me down and also have to watch the keeper for the slightest bit of movement that can happen in less than a second.

It's not a skill issue, it's a crutch.

I used to defend Keeper movement admittingly but with the current state, I can agree that it should go but they also should focus more on other issues prior.

Even tho I still have this opinion that not everyone will agree with, that GK movement should stay but it should be the hardest mechanic to learn and super risky.
