Im not here to rant about Dribbling, or to talk about Defending, because I honestly think a good player can defend pretty well in this game. I have been Elite for years and it's absolutely fine, but the biggest elephant in the room are the following mechanics:
GK Movement: Sorry to say this EA, but its not a skill gap, to have a get out of jail free card every single time your opponent plays out a great attack and then it gets ruined by a brain dead mechanic that should not be there in the first place. If I break down my opponent in the box, there shouldn't be a GK movement, to PUNISH Me, for taking a logical and good shot, and rewarding my opponent for his terrible defending and decision making
Player Lock: Player Lock is insanely annoying too. Its an old relic of times, where the attacking AI was absolutely terrible and useless, but this AI is decent, so why have this mechanic? Its not a skill gap either.
Precision Shooting: This one i hate personally and I know lots of people will defend it. Precision Shooting is not necessary! The mechanic, just like GK movement rewards bad decision making, for example when my opponent basically shoots into my keepers body, but my keeper gets so scared he ducks the ball. Its just insane, that a bad shot, just because it's used on precision somehow becomes good.
Solution: Give us a tournament, maybe a WL Classic, 30 Games, 1 week, Cool Rewards and deactivate all those mechanics during that event and see how the community reacts to it. Those mechanics shouldn't be in a good football game.
