I sometimes think I must be playing a different game to many of the vitriolic negative comments. I have found the passing (on semi) much more reliable than previously, especially first time. The skills/close control is much smoother as are the animations.
The defending took a few games to adjust but now I much prefer it; not just expecting the AI to defend for you. Of course there will always be those who dislike it because it's different and takes some adjustment. I genuinely feel this is by far the best since 17 or 19. I actually applaud EA for what they are trying to do with career mode. It doesn't all work perfectly yet; but it's being patched. But gameplay is great.

The defending has been nerfed to the ground. Please make defending equally powerful compared to attackers.
Game has just become an unrealistic goal fest for skill and pace abusers as defending has been severely nerfed
