Ultimate Team in FC26 feels very unrewarding to play right now.
In FC25 the casuals who have day jobs and spend 2-3 hours in an evening playing this game do not stand a chance of earning many rewards because they are tied behind success.
Success is fine so long as it’s based on a target to hit:
Rivals - 30 points - great!
Champions - 15 wins, but each win gets a reward - fine as that is end game activity.
Friendly tournaments - 2-3 packs available for playing games and scoring goals, but more packs and a decent player tied behind getting 3-4 wins in a row!
To add to the pain, defending is already underpowered, the attack is very exploitable using fidget spinning techniques, agile women players and speed demons.
The matchmaking seems non-skill based and the mere fact that it allows people to continue playing live event tournaments when they’ve achieved all objectives seems doubly unfair.
Either revert it back to just get 10-15 wins or change matchmaking so it’s skill based.
Totally unrewarding to the casual player and gaming should not be focussed on streamers and hardcore players.
