#Gameplay Feedback – Realism and Balance

I really love the atmosphere, graphics, goalkeeper animations, player faces, and stadium presentation in FC 26 — that part is amazing and feels next-gen.

However, there are some serious issues with gameplay realism and balance.
• It doesn’t make sense to ko mix men and women in competitive modes in the current state of the game. Some female players are far too strong physically compared to men, especially in attack. This breaks immersion for a football simulator.
• The game pace feels too fast and arcade-like. Passing is extremely quick and precise, making it too easy to go from defense to attack with almost no build-up play.
• Midfielders and defenders are not reactive enough when defending. They barely track back or press properly, so you often have to manually drag players back into position.
• The offensive side of the game is far more powerful than the defensive side, which leads to very high-scoring matches that don’t feel realistic.
• The pay-to-win gap is still huge. Players who spend money have a big advantage, even though the game claims to be skill-based.
• Finally, the gameplay “meta” feels repetitive — always the same fast attacks, quick turns, and easy goals with certain players. Real football variety and tactics are almost gone.

Please make defending and midfield play more responsive, tone down passing speed and accuracy, and re-balance physicality between male and female players. The game has so much potential, but right now it feels more like a superhero arcade than real football.

Many players share this opinion — we just want football to feel like football again.

Just make so people can play authentic in online modes too so that they can choose whether or not they want to play with an arcadey experience or a more simulative one

you are absolutely right...funny thing is many fc players...like exactly this arcadey unrealistic - i just dribble with messi though everybody- style.
Bad for us who like something more "grounded" and realistic.
Lets see what EA decides...but i have to give it to them this time, they actually did what many wanted so its not actually only their fault.
