I m playing fifa since the first one.
According to me fifa 13,14 and 17 were the best.
It s been a long time that fifa and fc series are unbalanced.
Attack is full assisted and defense is a joke for every one who knows football.
Players can t learn defending because jockey defense L2+R1 is volontary too slow to allow attackers scoring a lot.
The defenders positioning is awful.
Too much space between them and they never press correctly the opponent.
The double pressing is useless.
Some players say, you must learn defending but you can t because you have not the right tools to do that.
Attacking is fully assisted, and the players don t get tired after pressing all the time, dribbling 5 time in a row and score a goal.
Ea s developpers UNBALANCED the game to make noobs happy and so they can be good UT packs consumers.
They will never change that unless EA lost money a lot.
Now there is 2 communities... with authentic and competitive gameplay.
That s a very bad thing because players can t play Online modes with authentic gameplay !!!!!!
EA should have made 2 gameplay possibility in EVERY mode.
With 2 world leaderboards, one authentic and one competitive.
I know that in real life a match last 90 minutes and 15 minutes in the game and it must be hard to find a balance but we all see since couples of years now that you unbalanced the game deliberatly to make attack stronger.
It s silly, stupide and you already lost a lot of money last year because of that.
In UT, you have to separate Men and women.
It s ridicules because the power is not the same, even with the same statistics.
It s biological !!!!
You have to do 2 UT with 2 world leaderboards.
One Men, the other for the Women.
I was a great fan of Fifa and since Fifa 18 you lost the love of football.
Maybe coders lost their skills too because of departure.
But now i think if fc 26 is not quickly updated, your game will be finish like a lot of EA s licence.

26 had the potential to be the best but EA are too spineless to not listen to timmies.
Defense is fine tho icl....
if we are already in a drop back meta, adjusting jockey speed will kill the game

i agree that jockey needs to be a bit better to keep up with attackers. But then we gotta nerf the drop back and AI stuff in defense to balance it. Make manual defending rewarding
Here's the solution, nerf drop backs and anyone who drops back should have a harder time attacking or make players out of postion frequently.
At the start it felt decent and timing tackles was rewarding, now it feels punishing to use defenders as just sitting on dms is a better solution since the ai marks most of the stuff anyways
I am not for this gameplay but from a balance perspective, if jockey becomes better we are back to 0-0 games

its not fun attacking in a box where 9 players are stood
Yeah it was amazing but it was too hard for timmies they ended up crying and EA catered to them as usual, because they are the majority.

Defending is significantly harder and thats good. But the solution cant be drop back counter
There needs to be some adjustment
I just played an a-hole with 8 in the box and it's so insufferable, even when I do break it, it doesn't matter, even scoring doesn't matter because they will do it again, they will score BS goals that I have no control over...
Because EA keeps rewarding those idiots.
I agree but they will never adapt, they want to ruin the experience for everyone else as long as they win

They don't care about having a good game.
At the start it was good bc servers didnt have many people playing and people now quickly found out you dont have to anything pros are recommending you to not TACKLE and NOT touch your CBs

i just run to my half and force him to break def shape
im in the lead, they need to break the shape, why should i give a counter

Now manual tackling doesn't work it all which is why I understand pros saying to not touch CBs...
It's all haram ball or letting the AI pressure or auto tackle, and that's beyond braindead.
Its not ideal but then again if i let them equalize they will defend for thier lives after so I need to force them to attack

just pick a high pace player with relentless+ and they can press u using ai while they sit back for like 10 mins straight

The defending has been nerfed to the ground. Please make defending equally powerful compared to attackers.
Game has just become an unrealistic goal fest for skill and pace abusers as defending has been severely nerfed
Ea don t dare make drastical gameplay change.
Ea don t want to see players leaving their game.
So they lost themsleves with ridiculous update that don t change anything..
Updates unbalanced more and more the game sadly.

Level the playing field and boost defenders, or make everything manual where attack is not inside forward, etc.. all runs needs to be triggered and defense is manual but jockeying speeds is increased to keep up pace
