#AI defending ruined the game

I think the manual defending is better than previous years but now people are only controlling their cdm and holding r1 to let the AI defend for them. When is this issue getting addressed? Tired of playing against the AI all the time and not having an actual human being mark me. Also this community is a bunch of sweaty rats that would rather let the AI do the work for them than actually play the game they bought. Dissapointed in the community as much as in the developers. Games absolutely gone. Miss the fifa 15 days.

Bro consider attacking without ai once where you control 6 players at once.

You just want defending to be nerfed and attacking to be overpowered to aid you in your way of play

First attack without ai and control all players at once and then ask for defense without AI

Besdies, u then have the option to switch to who u were R1 pressing with and keep pressing with the initial player u were controlling

As for jockey speed, I agree it should be better as people shouldnt be allowed to become fidget spinners.

Last thing player locks: Yes it is op in a way but that essentially is the same as yall staying on ur dms and letting the AI play. I would say remove both player locks and r1 pressing and nerf drop back. Make it a pure skill game where AI only performs basic tasks like making attcak runs and maintaining def lines or trying to mark players. To actually tackle, it should be user decision

To answer your question, my game is so delayed, and slop, barely playable, that I will happily sit on my CDM all game because I literally cant move and if I control the defender it reacts 2-3 seconds after my input so theres literally no point. So once they actually make the game playable I would consider using more than my CDM on defense

Manual defending is not rewarding at all, and considering the state of the game, AI defending is crucial atm (not that it makes me happy).

If AI defending is to be tuned down, attacking has to be tuned down as well: every settings (passes, crosses etc) should be on SEMI, speed of passes decreased, bad touches increased, agility decreased...
This way you will have a balance between simulation and arcade. Now, the rhythm feels nothing like football, it's like a ping pong game with no midfield battle, and the only way to defend "correctly" is to not select defenders unfortunately
