Manual defending as said by multiple people isn't rewarding anymore, and without sprint boosting or playstyles being a thing the game has just become frustrating and stale, no real tactics, only one thing to do, you don't feel differences on players and women are widely used due to their insane agility

This is a highly requested thing, please balance things correctly for once

Agreed but i think EA are past the point of fixing things , i personally think its time for them to give it up , never been the same since the name changed from fifa , the game died with that name , all good things must come to an end , they dont make them like they used to and its because pay to win , thats all they are about is getting more money out of people not actually improving the game , hence why they added a season pass in the past couple games , more micro transactions people need to wake up stop feeding into it and stop buying the games because its never going to get any better

It's not automatic at all, I can do certain things I couldn't do in FC25 trough skills

Honestly CPU defending is worst than ever, nobody plays with their defense, nobody manual defends anymore, gane is trash again

yep i have to say what stood out to me is...there is no winger or forward who will join the defense...you have effectively only your central/defensive miedfielder to defend in miedfield. No one else 😄
Like 3 or so player just standing meters away from the action.
and as you said no tactical possibilty to fix that contraire to past titles where you could say join the defense etc.
But there the players would actually automatically rather join the defense in general.

and to be good at the game you have to defend I THINK and if you see any ANY pro advice is to not touch the CBs that by itself tells you whats wrong with the game

Yea it was like that for other FC's too

They always tell U to select the cdm not the CBs

Playstyles barely work, less animations
It's the double man pressing that is automatic and annoying, but u can't really remove it if the defense doesn't behave.
The positioning is still awful , even if it was FULLY manual, it would still be bad

i can agree that the r1 press is annoying but its not my main issue , in this game ai intercepts every pass you make to a foward if they are close to him they can easily antecipate the pass making it very very frustating , the other issue is that you dont really have to tackle you just need to put your defenders in front of the attackers until they automatically get the ball from them

If they update and ruin things it's cuz people often advocate for the wrong things sadly

its absolutely less AI defending...actually almost too much...you never defend with a full team...as in football...the wingers always stay miles away from action and you run across the pitch with the central midfielders...then with the nicely overpowered attack in comparison to defence...this is just a goal fest...because there is no real consistent structure

I hate that defending now is more usless than ever, players like King and Hancko who have stats to be amazing manually are useless because of the direction of AI defending

And honestly I'm too autistic to not manually defend with my CBs as I actually should.

No matter how hard I have to rely on AI because that what EA wants, my autistic brain makes me want to always control the CBs
