I miss the ignite engine. FIFA 15 and 16 were ok with frostbite but it's been messy since then.
I'd be open to having FC 26 be a 2 year long game while an entirely new engine is made specifically for FC 28 and their other sports games.
Frostbite is ok when it comes to FPS games but the sports titles have really been struggling.

I agree with you, Frostbite isn't suitable for a soccer game. But I also think Hypermotion makes things worse... In FIFA 17, it's Frostbite, and yet the animations are very beautiful. The game really got ugly starting with FIFA 22.
