Stealth patched defending?

Today AI feels super OP, find it so easy to defend and alot harder to break down opponants.

Feels like AI defending is back?

Anyone else experiancing this. Hoping EA havnt as the game the last couple of days has been so good, probs the most fun fifa ive ever played.

But today in having alot of 1-0 wins 0-0 etc

Manual defending is still not rewarding tackles do not work and jockey is slow

Does for me. My defenders are doing it all for me like its fifa 25.

Dont think ive conceded a goal in 10 games of rivals

Everyone’s figured out just to run around with there cdms and just never switch to cbs so the defence just stays in a perfect line, manual needs to be better, ai needs to be worse

This.. but not only this, they indeed already buffed defensive AI, the first week you could punished players that only controlled the CDMS and never switched to their defensive backline, it was very easy to punish them, now it's much harder, you can clearly see that CB's defensive AI is much stronger than before the first gameplay update patch. They will ruin the BEST game they made in years and for what ? for 10% of players that want an easy game? That don't want to learn how to play ? EA, you really going to ruin the best gameplay because of few people crying that defending ''doesn't work'' when in reality they just don't want to get punished for being bad at it ? If they keep buffing defensive AI, I'm leaving this franchise for GOOD

The community is the issue and the “content creators”

Everyone just follows bs tactics which encourages the low block. Just played 3 games all 3 the same style of play and they couldnt even pass. One countered and started fidget spinning on the wings.

Doesnt feel like football at all,

Punished? Ofcourse its the community for not choosing their own tactics. They see on socials: this tactic brought me to div 1 and they blindly follow it.

Game should be fun.

Yes punished, If there are overpowered tactics why would you not use them and put yourself at a disadvantage. I’m not just going to use them and use tactics I want to because I would concede about 200 goals, ea needs to find a way to make low block less effective, it’s ea’s fault not the community’s, not sure how you can’t see that.

Yes ofcourse its ea’s fault but also the community to follow every single thing only instead of creating their own tactic fitting their own playstyle.

90% of the players that play like that are not even good but need that 1% luck to score their goals.

But now after the patch low block is always there thats the issue now. I play extreme and my def just runs backwards

Your whole point was that the community is the problem, but if the overpowered tactics are in the game of course the community are going to use them otherwise they would be at a disadvantage. It’s solely an ea problem. They need to make other tactics more viable to players use different tactics rather than just park the bus.

The community is what abuses the low block. If you are actually a good player or has a brain how to play and control your defense you shouldnt even need a low block. But people dont want to learn the game and just follow the “haram” ball tactics and dont do a thing. It is boring, dont know your age but back in the day fifa was actually fun and now its just toxic players using low block because they cant defend or want to learn it and just abuse left stick.

Now with the patch low block is broken and ai helps them fully

The community is just doing what makes the game easiest for them (using low block) of course in an Ideal works people would be using all sorts of tactics but ea have made the game so that if you don’t have a low block you get punished, therefore it’s eas fault not the community’s. Not sure how you can’t see that

Its easy to break but boring to play against.

Defending should be satisfying winning the ball or last tackle on the ball from behind. EA messed it up in the last patch but still if you can think. Defending is easy to learn but the COMMUNITY is abusing it because they are too lazy to learn how to defend.
