Fc25 was poor, but this is seriously bad. The only want to defend is to manually intercept or to second man press as no defensive buttons work anymore. The only way you’ve stopped tackle backs is by no longer tackling.

Also feels like sometimes each player is playing on different gameplay sliders as at times one side is just much slower than the other (had it for and against me).

I think this is genuinely it for me, I’ll check back once a patch is updated but in the off chance someone for EA actually checks this. I’d love to chat about a refund.

I could accept a small buff on manual defending in terms of tackle radius, but I will take this over how AI driven it was any day. Only thing that really gets me is if a CB starts creating huge gaps for no reason. I'm Div4, plenty of games I plan no one scores on me or they get 1.

I do not miss AI driven defending in the slightest. At least we can play now.

I think another element is Bruiser doesn't seem to do anything anymore so your CB etc can't barge people off in a 50/50. That would go a long way to leveling it all out imo.

Also, reduce bounce backs or failed interceptions. Day 1 was awesome for that.

I just had my defender backing down against the opponent striker in the box so he can score 😂 i was pressing with my FB since both my CBs were in the box but the CB on the side of striker just backed out of his position automatically 😂

Defense and attack need to be equal parts of the game. And right now attack is 10x overpowered compared to defense which is non existent

Div 1 here. Games absolute garbage. It has been designed for noobs who want to have end to end fun. You’re not rewarded for defending. Ffs every tackle is a 50-50. Every switch is a 50-50. Not playing champs if they don’t patch kick offs . Looking forward to Bo7 beta.

I dont know what people here are rambeling about but this game js not manual and not hard at all. In higher divisions people select only the CMDs and let the second man AI defend for them. No one is selecting the CBs it all AI and thats it. So i dont know what manuk is but nothing is manuel its all AI. They need to nerf the AI like massively. AI should never and i mean NEVER auto tackle and should NEVER follow you if its not human controlled.

This game is heavily AI based like heavly. They need nerf the AI to ground or we are done for. As said no one is using defenders to defend its all ai.

Here you go this is whats breaking the game. Thank you for pointing out what i just said. They need to remove this button and or disable it. Its so annoying that second man pres AI is like a shadow. It follows you and its impossible to shake it off. This needs to be nerfed to the GROUND.

Plus on top of that it even auto tackles you and takes the ball. As said all players in higher divisions are abusing this its insane.

This needs to be removed for sure and also the part where it follows you like shadow. Its impossible to shake it off unless its human controlled. As i have said before the Ai Should never do things that a human can do period. Its should not tackle you and it should not fellow you. Maybe follow you for 1 sec and let go but not constantly follow you like a shadow. It should never be the case that people deselect the defenders to let the AI defend. Thats insane

Wonder what DIV you would be if you did not have the R1 abuse. And you needed to select your defenders to defend. Like why do people do this and abuse mechanics. Its not even EA is the community thats so toxic.

I don’t mind the defending at all to be honest. I do think counters are overpowered at the moment once you loose the ball on the edge of the 16 on your opponents half sand you don’t press immediately your toast and the kick off glitch other then that gameplay is decent not top but good enough to play the game.

Why is nobody complaining about the mix of men and women? That probably is the reason our defenders aint buffed.

They will i hear many people are complaining about people using only CDMs to defend. So the only way to discourage that is by removing it or massively NERFING it. They can make yhe second man press not tackle they can make it follow you like for 1 sec and stop. Many ways to nerf it if not removing it. Its easy fixes tbf so i hope they will do it. I dont think ea intended for people to not use CBs at all.

I see they did nothing about it sadly. They released the patch notes and no mention about this. This is so annoying that they did not touch the second man press and did nothing to encourage people not to run around with using just CDMs.

Second man press is easy af to pass around tbh. The full press is the issue. Second man press means there is a gap.

Real issues are the fidget spinners and full press also the low block of haram ball is absurd

The fidget spinners itself isn’t the issue, it’s nice to actually have more responsive ls dribbling, it’s jockey speed that’s bad so you can’t defend against fidget spinners

The defending has been nerfed to the ground. Please make defending equally powerful compared to attackers.

Game has just become an unrealistic goal fest for skill and pace abusers as defending has been severely nerfed

Since the recent patches the defending has become unreliable. Bounce backs are back in full swing and I freaking hate it. Why the f are these things back? Day one intercepting the ball was rewarding, tackles were reliable - what the actual frick are we even doing.
