I'm unable to play div rivals, Squad Battles or rush without the game being a stutter fest with major input lag, I've tried having the game on the lowest settings (Failed) Tried it at the highest (Failed) tried middle ground (Failed).

I've tried screwing around with power settings, overclocking (All failed).

My PC specs are as follows:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8GB
RAM: 32GB 3200Mhz DDR4
Game Installed: NVMe SSD 1TB

Anyone got any ideas how to make it work consistent?

Find the settings that work add them to your Nvidia save and repair the game before you launch it everytime works like a charm

The worst part of all this is that before the official release on September 26th the game was working fine for me… I think we need to keep writing here with #fixpc and also comment on every post from @EASFCDirect on Twitter

Take screenshots in case they delete this thread, so we will have proof to make it public. If they remove posts instead of addressing the issue, that could even be against consumer rights. As customers we should be protected

Reading this forum and seeing how long people have been reporting the same issue, I think starting today we should all comment under EVERY EA Twitter/X post. In each comment we should: describe our problem, share our PC specs, mention that more demanding games run without any issues, and clearly state since when the bug has been happening. Most importantly, always add the hashtag #fixPC.

It’s clear that EA doesn’t care — we paid, they got their money, and now they don’t even reply to our messages. As some people said here, they even delete forum topics instead of addressing them.

If we don’t get any official response or a patch fixing this issue, then our next step should be commenting under YouTubers’ videos to spread the word further

New patch will be released soon, still no performance update:

Addressed the following issues:

[PC Only] Addressed some instances of controllers not responding in gameplay while we continue to investigate your reports on this issue and plan future improvements.

[PC Only] Resolution and Display settings could have sometimes reset after closing the game.

[PC Only] Optimized cloth physics to reduce impact on performance.

[PC Only] Improved performance during corner kicks.

[Showcase Only] Addressed instances of launching the game through an invite not placing the recipient in the match lobby.

Addressed various stability issues that could have occurred.

Short review: Nothing has been changed performance wise. Still stuttering, still FPS Drops, graphic settings still reset. GPU usage is still 99%, even in Menus.

Regarding the FPS drop in the second half of the match – this method solved the problem for me. Even though I’m playing on low graphics settings, I can now play at 60 FPS (I’m not sure if it works on higher settings, and I don’t want to risk it as long as it’s working). Here’s what I do: when I go into Division Rivals and the FPS starts to drop in the second half, if I’m losing, I just quit the match and restart the game. Usually, after 3–4 restarts, the FPS drop disappears completely and I can play normally without any stuttering

Hey everyone
Made a couple tests and I think I found the issue
Used Medium settings, 1920x1080 resolution with 100% render scale. Full Screen btw, fps set to unlimited.
No issues in Squad Battles or Rivals so far
For everyone that has a graphics card with 8 GB of video memory or more, I know we are used to playing on High - Ultra settings. But this year, the game is badly optimized (more than usual). Give it a try and let me know if it worked for you.

I used to play in auto settings, borderless screen on 1440p with a 70% render scale, but was having inconsistent FPS and a lot of FPS drops/freezes on online matches

I can't believe it. My topic in the FC forum (PC, poor performance, stuttering, and slow gameplay) was simply added to another topic (FPS drops in the second half), even though they are two different issues. That's one way to sweep problems under the rug, EA, well done!
