I did some reverse engineering of the game and here’s what came out:

The matches are never actually balanced: the system deliberately introduces imbalance to guarantee “spectacle” and push you to keep playing.

The packs have hidden tiers: the more you spend, the more the probability of getting a big reward artificially increases.

The matchmaking is completely biased: it never reflects your real skill level — it adjusts matchups to prolong your session and push you toward spending.
