#AI Team Gameplay Feedback

I've played a number of Manager Career Mode games now, and having played around with different difficulties (Legendary and Ultimate), the authenticity features and sliders, it feels like the opposition AI team is far too passive and too easily pressured and closed down. It seems like these issues happen when the Authenticity Features setting is turned on.

I do not seem to face many big chances from the opposition, which results in them hardly ever scoring and relatively easy wins for me. This seems to be because of a number of reasons/behaviours, such as :
The AI does not play direct enough or often enough, in previous games where they would dribble into the space towards goal, they seem far happier to pass it away from goal to a teammate, giving me time to get defenders back and close them down.
Odd passes from the strike over their own midfield to their defenders, basically giving up all the ground they had gained.
A slow straight dribble forwards, which is very easily stopped by my defenders. I encountered a very erroneous case of this when every time the AI got the ball, they would start slowly dribbling forwards in a straight line, and would not even attempt to pass the ball when I got close and eventually tackled them. Another weird case was the AI just dribbling slowly with the ball in a small circle in their own half, even when I closed them down they didn't react.

It seems like the AI does not react well when pressured and closed down, either from not knowing what to do or the pressing is too overpowered and giving the AI too big of a debuff. I find that it is way too easy to press the AI back towards their own goal, even if the AI has the ball on the edge of my own box, I can quite easily press them, and force them to dribble and pass back to their defenders around the halfway line. This contributes to the feeling of passiveness and low scoring AI.
