Currently, match ratings seem too heavily tied to goals and assists. Even with excellent overall play like controlling tempo, breaking up attacks, creating chances, or maintaining high passing accuracy, I notice players often finish with an average rating (around 7.0–8.0) unless they score or directly assist. This makes leveling feel unfairly skewed toward attackers and doesn’t reflect true performance across positions.

I suggest improving how ratings factor in general play: things like successful tackles, interceptions, key passes, ball recoveries, pressing, and chance creation. That way, players who dominate games without necessarily scoring can still achieve high ratings (8.5–9.5), rewarding intelligent and consistent play across all roles.
