Dear EA Community, dear EA development team,

I'm giving you my feedback on defending / playing against the ball.

In my first 20-30 online games, I conceded at least 4 goals in every game.
Most games ended 7:8, 8:8, 9:9, 5:7, etc.
My opponent also conceded a lot of goals.

Now I've become more familiar with defending in FC 26.
Since then, I've conceded fewer goals in online games.
It requires a high level of concentration and sensitivity on the controller to defend correctly and in a timely manner.

For me, defending / playing against the ball is a bit underpowered.
I found defending much easier in FC 25.

What's your opinion?
Do you also have difficulty defending, especially in online games?

There are many other reports online from players who are experiencing various problems with the new defense system.

I hope the development team makes adjustments/refinements here as soon as possible!

Best regards,
chriwaldo

The only thing that needs to be adjusted is the dribbling.

Players being able to constantly close control and run in circles while simultaneously being able to draw AI teammates in and send them on runs just makes the game feel like a mess at times.

There needs to be some kind of cool down, or negative effect added like with multiple chained skill moves

Exactly!!! Defending tho as well!!! How tf are they running without ever getting tired? Pressing the from the back and still winning the ball with ease with the best first touch in the world????????? Skill takes time irl, they should be the same in the game. Ball hogging barely gets rewarded irl, but is the best dribbling technique in the game????? Man… fifa 24 was better than this. Was way more manual. Just the rebounds were horrible.

Just give me a standing tackle button that works and i'll be fine. The amount of times my foot touches the ball and they dribble through it, not around it but through it is insane. There's barely an animation to it and it goes nowhere near the direction I'm tackling towards. They've once again leaned towards eSports and making it fun to watch pros play rather than their fan base having an enjoyable game to play.
