Hi guys, i had the same issue with friendlies and squad battles. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game back and right now I can play squad battles

I just tested out the cornerstone exhibition mode, it works. Can confirm after reinstalling game I can play modes in UT

I did this and it fixed it. saw it on forums.
xbox button > settings > system > console info > reset console > reset and keep my games & apps
took 2 or 3 mins, console restarted, I relogged in and boom fixed. menus arent laggy anymore either.

Can confirm this fixed it for me and for some reason same ping as before b it gameplay is much more smoother
