Hello EA
This issue worsened after RUSH was added. Changes to pitch size, angles, zoom height, and dynamic camera switching now affect gameplay across UT.
The problem is not only inside RUSH but how its camera logic impacts all modes (Rivals, Squad Battles, etc.). The camera is now the main factor altering gameplay.
What happens
Handling, first touch, passing and orientation glitch
Pressing the camera focus button (PS5: touchpad / Xbox: screen button) alters gameplay inputs/outputs.
Passing, shooting, dribbling, tackling shift unpredictably.
Observations
Passing: long passes fall short or overshoot; short passes jump from 2m to 20m.
Shooting: behaves like long shots even close to goal.
Dribbling: ball further from foot, easier to lose.
Defending: tackling mistimed due to stretched “long focus.”
Narrow vs. Long focus
Narrow: responsive passes, tight dribbling, magnetic tackles.
Long: smoother look but unresponsive with exaggerated animations.
Creates imbalance: long focus users gain unfair advantages.
Not just RUSH vs. FUT – also between different in-game camera settings (“Tele,” “Transmission,” etc.).
Switching causes zoom/focus conflicts and the same inconsistencies.
Players may even face each other with different active focuses, breaking fairness.
How to observe / investigate
Play one RUSH match on Transmission.
Enter a FUT match.
Use the camera focus button → glitch is active.
Conclusion
The integration of RUSH camera logic into all modes has broken gameplay balance.
It affects passing, shooting, dribbling, defending, and input/output.
Once limited to RUSH/Transmission, it now extends everywhere due to zoom changes, pitch dynamics, and coding mismatches (e.g. keeper distance registering wrong).
This frustrates players and has already cost EA customers and revenue.
