🖥️ Step 1 — Set Windows Refresh Rate to 60Hz

Right-click your desktop → select Display settings.

Scroll down and click Advanced display.

Find your main monitor, then in Choose a refresh rate, set it to 60 Hz.

(You can switch it back to 165Hz when you’re done playing EAFC26 if you want.)

🎮 Step 2 — Limit FPS in EAFC26

Launch EAFC26.

From the main menu, go to:

Settings → Game Settings → Display Configuration.

Look for Frame Rate (or FPS limit).

Set this to 60 FPS.

Make sure V-Sync is ON (if it’s off, inputs sometimes desync).

🔒 Step 3 — Run in Fullscreen Mode

In the same Display Configuration menu, find Display Mode.

Change from Borderless or Windowed → Fullscreen.

Does everybody have the same glitch? Sounds like some are not able to connect at all, for me it stops working in some games and some moments. When I pause it works in the menu though, just me? (Obviously not a problem with the controller)

Mine still does the same thing tonight. Rush game mode works but clubs doesn’t as the controller just stops working once the game kicks off

Within game settings, go to controller settings. I had originally set it to alternate. But when I went there it was showing something else two button or something. Changed it to alternate. And everything is fine since.

EA_Darko : What might also help is to make sure your graphics drivers and your controller's firmware are up to date. Then reboot the game and use just your controller, not your keyboard or mouse, once the game opens up again.

Controllers Not Responding

Status: Small improvement coming in the next Title Update, but further investigation and updates are needed.

Thanks to your feedback, we’ve found a number of different cases in which your controllers don’t function as you’d expect. Some of the controller issues you’ve reported are impacted by the overall performance of the game, which we touch on in the Optimization and Stability section below.

For now, we’ve addressed a few cases of unresponsive controllers and you can expect to see that update come later this week in FC 26 version 1.0.2.

We know that this update will not address every single instance of controllers not responding, it’s part of a series of improvements we’re looking to make. We’re still working on more updates in this space and need to take the time to get it right for you.

Thank you at least for getting in touch and providing information, however, it seems to me (and players with the same problem will support me) that compensation for essentially wasted money is necessary. A huge company like yours shouldn't have such problems, or they should be resolved literally within a day after an error of such magnitude.

bro i fixed it myself maybe u can do it too

all what u need it's just set ur monitor settings to 60 hz, than connect ur gamepad, launch game and on start screen BEFORE u r launch ut u need turn on vsync, set fullscreen and do 60 fps and 60 hz in settings. after all of that maybe u can play in online without fcking bug ❤️

controller still isn’t working for me , i pre ordered the game and haven’t been able to play any online matches ? i just wasted my money for no reason i could’ve just got the normal version . i got the ultimate edition to get a head start and i haven’t even been able to play due to pc controller bug. surely there will be compensation of some kind ? partial refund ? fc points ? free packs ?
