I had to change the settings from my main computer settings so they would save and it worked.

I was able to get the ci troller working by lowering refresh rate to 60hz and FPS limit to 60hz and VSYNC on to 50%

The key is to lower refresh rate to the lowest possible setting as well as turning on VSYNC to at least 50%. Those settings worked for me. But if they don’t work keep adjusting until they do. I tried about 6-8 different variety of this until it worked. Now it runs flawlessly

This bug has been going on since the first day of the (pre-order) release and I feel like (way) more people have encountered this problem. This bug makes the game practically unplayable and the only way to fix it is to restart my game.

I've tried; Re-installing the game, re-installing my GPU Drivers, running as administrator, running in compatibility mode, tried playing in all resolutions (Windowed, Fullscreen, Windowed Borderless), lowering graphics and alot of other small tweaks to my system/game.

My CPU, RAM and GPU run at 70% most of the time and don't necessarily rise after encoutering this bug, maybe by like 10% or such.

This bug sometimes doesn't happen for a while but as shown in this video it happened as soon as UT loaded in, I've had the bug when booting up a rivals match, a rush match and a clubs match. When the bug does not happen the game runs at a steady 60fps for the entire match, sometimes the bug occurs halfway the match when entering the half-time screen.

For reference these are my specs;

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 4600H, 6 kernels, 12 logical processors, ~3.0GHz
RAM: 16GB
GPU: GTX 1650

Where have we got to? First of all, we have to thank every player who checks and tests all the settings. But what bothers me the most is that it's 2025 and I'm certainly not going to set all the settings to the lowest settings just so I can play FC 26. I have a Ryzen 7 9800 X3D, an RTX 4090, 32 GB DDR5 RAM. I can expect the developers to make such an undemanding game run smoothly on my PC.

EA, you should finally communicate that the game is absolutely not optimized for any PC. I thought you wanted to listen to the community, why not talk to the community? Alternatively, they should really think about offering players a way to refund the game instead.

I've read of so many players who have bought EA Play just to be able to play. And for what? That the game absolutely does not run on PC. Stuttering, slow gameplay, controller bug and much more. It's a shame that your player base is treated like this.

This is working for me, try it and see if it works for you. As soon as you get into the game, go straight to the settings in the main menu, then toggle V-Sync on and off in the display tab. That's how it's been working for me so far - I tested it like 3 times and it worked. Sometimes the first match might still lag; when that happens, I just quit and go back to the menu, then start another match and it runs fine. To prevent FPS drops in important games, I even made a Career Mode save just for this. I go into the game, toggle V-Sync on and off, load into that random Career Mode match, and if the FPS doesn't drop, it's good to go. If it does drop, I just quit and the next match will run normally.
