last time i played with the 4231(
2 inside forwads
shadow striker
and 2 holding: defend
the depth was balanced and i play counter
so i feel like the cdms are good in defencive but attack become like not verygood and there is no options
i was playing with the 4411
the two cm are holding defend (and sometimes one of them playmaker attack to make a 5th option in attack and sometimes box to box)
also 2 inside forwards attack and for sure the shadow striker
with 71 depth it is good but when i play against the players who pass to the ST and start running because the defensive line is high i can't catch and without cdms defence is bad)
what is the solution?
maybe try the 4411 with 90 height line
to contast press and accept goals but score more?
or change the second cm role?
or 4231 with another cdm roles?
what do you think guys?

LM/RM: inside forward: balanced or one of them attack to start the through pass early
CAM: shadow striker
ST: many talk about False 9 i didn't try it but you can
but i play with Advanced forward : attack
counter attack
depth :71 but i'm changing i. to 60 but 71 has a good pressing
also press with your CAM so it will be like 4 in the front trying to catch the ball from oppenement defenders
