until 15 GM i dont see a reason to spread, lmb/flash/cleave have about 30% split each, and GM stacks give each 1.9% until 15 then down to 1.5% iirc

so the most budget build i guess would be purple flicker/epc, purple storm cleave, purple flash + 9 or so green flash books

or maybe u can stay at blue cleave, cuz idk the purple increase, someone said 21%

with the 3 bound selectors, then buy 6 cleaves at 300 gems each lol, u can get 18GM storm cleave and that's about it

The answer depends on who youre playing with - the other answer is does the boss move around a lot to the point that you grabbing them give your team more uptime to make that worth it. (But in NEO at least so far doesnt seem liek this should ever be a question to ask an answer for cuz the answer is no bosses dont really move around a lot minus mujin but om cuz farm content)

So the actual answer to your question would be

If grabbing causes the other 5 people to do more damage than what you could've done in those 5-6s (however long grab lasts for) then yes you would grab. If they can't do more than what you could've done in those 5-6s then no you don't grab but gl figuring that out for every group you run. You can just generalize this to the answer being no unless youre on a rat or something

If you can afford to buy the purple i would suggest buying LFCDR because you only need 1 so the price will get lower and lower the more exist in the server. Where as SC will be stacked making its price stay relatively high in comparison

i don't need it but i find it comes in handy sometimes and i'd hate for my grab to be sucky in those situations. biggest use case is in blues which i do daily cuz i need the gold 😭 grabbing helps lowbies not die, or helps strong ppl kill things like ogong, dokumo, and also slashimi in chef before they become untargetable. i'll also grab bosses sometimes if someone died so they can hopefully crawl out of range or get help resing before they fully die and have to charm (or be stuck on the floor bc no charm/charm on cd). it's definitely not the most useful skill in the world especially because of the stupid targeting bug but idk if another bit of gm would be worth losing out on it

Electric piercer first is pretty good if you can't afford lightning flash, but second one will have to be lightning flash as it enables the whole build. Support skills after that, like flaming scourge, charged stroke, thunder slash and then stack storm cleave until you have no slots left. At least that's what I'm doing, could do storm cleave before charged stroke I guess

I am running a fatal blade build with Electric Piercer Blue. I need to tech in thunderstorm for the bleed.

How worth is it to swap out blue EP for purple flicker, considering I have purple charged stroke and freeing up a slot from thunderstorm?

Additionally do people even use grab in their builds anymore? Or is it another thing that I can get rid of? It's a bound purple focus recovery.

I don't really have much issues with focus that would warrant a purple ep

Purple EP gives you stacks as well which gets yiu to FB faster which is more important than the focus, but if you can grab a Purple flicker for super cheap it will be stronger than using blue EP

An extra LF increase depends on how many stacks you have on it already, assuming you have like 6 green LF and replace 1 with that purple it gets you from 11.4 to 20.9 which is an 8.5% increase in LF dmg, again divide that by your LF dps contribution for final increase

(tho storm cleave would also go slightly higher if you keep that blue for 2 GM points, meaning you'd also replace 1 green LF and lower that one slightly but that shouldn't affect the result much)

Tho I also forgot atm LF isn't parsed correctly by that meter so you only see the crit hits, its real dmg is higher than that

And the 920% on FB compared to 35% on LF means you need to cast 27+ LF between each FB to make that one push ahead

(well it's also affected by GM points so that changes the numbers a bit, but you never should cast that many LFs between FBs)

You get so much cdr at 20 stacks that the 0.5s from badge doesn't end up changing that much if you have to wait for it

iirc a decent LF ratio is about 3.4 hits/second, if you wait 1 second for the badge it generally means you'll get back to 20 stacks 1s later. Over the entire badge duration (8s) you get 27.2 hits of LF or 13.6s of cooldown reduction (0.5s per hit), that 1 second of 20 stacks gives you 6.8sec cdr (2s per hit), so worst case with early cast you'd take an extra second later for another 6.8 sec making it 13.6s cdr total or the same time as if you'd waited that second for the badge

If you use bladeguard normally then yes its worth having (once its fixed) because the effect is the same as purple C but lasts 3 seconds instead of 6

when Z and C are on CD your fatal blade rotation gets a bit slower so theoritically this helps since most bosses have a yellow attack you can parry and then get a bunch of stacks from

at that point you dump sc and rebuild to 20

I use ExitLag, but those applications only make a very small difference because they're just rerouting you through different nodes in the network
