You always go where a yellow attack is, press 4, spam right click.
When your stacks are low or 0, you press 2, when you're in overflow and you spam sunflower you can press 3.
This assuming you have the right 4 and preferably drain as 2.

As we know, the last one to get the TP to the boss room gets the tentacle focus.
But in our case, the focus is on the cat, and this can really make it difficult for melees.
So, during the tentacle phase, pull your cat and use Q.
That is, if you're the only ranged player in the PT.

So if the cats doing any animation lock skill, its gonna miss pin
I just leave it in Q when the time to kd>pin starts coming up, so it doesn't lunge or something.

My opinion is that Hornet blows. Sunflower is better, again my opinion. However for sunflower you want to have the right skills to not lose focus to much. Hornet relies on crits which you won't have at the beginning and even after you do it won't be as good as sunflower.

Yeah, assuming you get the right badges, keeping stacks will give you overflow thus you can just hold right click to spam sunflower.

In the purple hornet guide you dont need drain cause 6 stacks hornet is more worth in this slot and the stun is mostly useless cause your need 3 ccs in the most dungeons and your kd should be available in 99% of the situations and i would pref 6 stacks aswell

its similar to the bug where q doesnt give focus from what ive seen. if you e q, sometimes the q just cancels and cat goes charging in again. or sometimes cat will stay crouched but not regen focus

And blue seed shroud is really good too since you get into photo easily + can extend with honey skills
I feel like most summs who swap from hornets to sunflower need like a week to get a feel for it as well

you pretty much need all the core skills for sunflower and even then you can run out of focus depending on your accuracy
personally at first i didn't do well as sun at all and i would keep running out of focus trying to keep up a rotation
took quite a long while to finally get used to it 
and even now depending on the fight i'm still just a potato

it only sucks for personal dps at wb/ monarch/ blazing
though with upcoming 48gm hammer changes and legendary books, that's an entirely different story, at that point sunflower should outdps (party) hornet by a lot

i think playing with you increases my dps by like 2k, not really too much since sums have a lot of piercing and i personally keep poison up quite a lot with lunge anyway and during tent phase you can refresh prickly all the time too
