this is the bug, a fake cat is next to you but the real one is miles away

It's an issue where you don't check the map, see her next to you, you think she's going to q or cc and then she doesn't and you're out of your cat for that boss fight.

That's why every summoner should always E their cat before the boss fight starts.

Regardless, of what you can do, it's an issue if you're not careful. Yes you can receive her, takes time from dps, yes you can go far enough so that she spawns next to you (if enough space). However it's an issue of the game for the summoner class. Not huge but just enough.

Another one would be when you ally (E) and she bounces off the ground and while you wanna press Q, it's used and she doesn't crouch.
