Hello, for Hornet build, when you spam LMB RMB sometime when its not crit and you need to cast, I'm oftten accidentally cancel the cast by LMB.

I love the Summoner class, so I'm delighted to be writing here. I'll take the liberty of disturbing you if you don't mind. I must confess that I'm a bit confused between the Sunflower build and the Hornet's Nest Poison/Debuff build.
I received two purple bound books, one called βPrickly Stanceβ and the other βGimme Lightβ, but they each go into different builds. With the event to select blue books, I'd like to take the opportunity to pick up either Hornet Nest three times or Sunflower three times, but to do that, I need to decide on a build! Which do you think is best?

You will do more personal damage with sunflower but hornet's nest has an easier time maintaining the defense reduction debuff from strike (mainly relevant in cold storage and beyond). Sunflower also has the issue where it's kinda awkward to play on blue books, purple sunflower basically doubles your damage but is ridiculously expensive compared to purple hornets

I think petal storm toss is probably not worth it since it'll be less and les of your damage as you scale hornets. Also you'll probably go back to hive swarm after they add the honey buff changes

Not necessarily, it gives additional hits which can crit = more instant casts
And if you mess up and the stacks fall off, it can help you reapply faster

its the actual debuff defense stat
the counterpart is debuff damage which is increased damage against a cc'd target

And that's not accounting for bosses knocking back the cat
So even if we took the rumblebees dmg and doubled it, I don't think it makes it viable

Here's an easier way to think of it, Lego rumblebees is 11 AP ratio over 10s on 9s CD. If we kinda double that and round let's say 2.0 AP ratio per second, that means you'd need one blue hornets nest cast every 2 seconds (with 0 gm) to match that damage
