it's more about pricing, overall i get more dps from stacking purple wicked over stacking blue beams due to the % dps increase

when your beam % of total damage isn't that much higher than wicked, getting gm6 per slot on wicked for the same price as gm2 per beam makes wicked worthwhile

but my dps in cold storage is more reliant on wicked crits
