try to play around hp% on boss and its phases ;
if after first phase (flame) he is not 70%, he will do flowers and u will need to do them
if 70%, he will do blue phase, so its a burst phase before boss does the projectiles

after that i actually dont remember the % (others will prob tell u) , and depending on which phase he goes into, u can decide if to burst or not
flame - nope, instant surrounding aoe, burst AFTER the orbs
frost - yep, burst during the 3 aoes before the surrounding aoe

you need to check your focus active with it if you have enough focus up to double right click you do it but if you are low on focus you just make 1 right click

Both rmbs at legy level are good, it becomes a matter of preference and niche things

Eradicate is tailored for execute, and like you guessed you’re supposed to do two rmb and one lmb (and revert to one/one if ur low on focus) and that will build you stacks insanely fast

We’re talking about min 4 stacks to max 6 stacks in ONE ROTATION (2rmb1lmb)
The dmg is also nice now compared to purple where it was noticeably weaker especially if you didnt do both rmbs

Cleave on the other hand rose from weird hybrid to valid option with the sacred badges, and the slightly faster gameplay than eradicate.
You trade the giga stacking for more dmg on the RMB itself, while still stacking fast, just not at “double” amounts like in Era
At legendary stage especially, cleave acquires:
20 focus cost instead of 30
Aoe dmg instead of single

Which normally held it back before at purple stage

I am personally testing both and in my opinion its a matter of preference in gamestyle at the moment
To put some numbers, iirc at the moment
Eradicate (crit) : 23k
Axe Slash (crit) : 28k
Cleave (crit) : 35k

TLDR - both good, just preference,
Eradicate stacks super fast
Cleave stacks slower but boom boom faster
