SUMMARY

When a player is rank 1-3 in the overall ranking for their class, a swirling aura is forever around them while not in combat. It's an effect that gets in the way of screenshots and I overall find it annoying and obnoxious. tired It also makes an annoying sound.

MAIN ISSUE

The effect cannot be removed whatsoever unless the player stops being in spots 1-3, which means certain players will have it forever (getting in the way).

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

Add this effect to the Advanced Visual Settings Effects so it can be hidden by players. It may be added to the first category.

EVIDENCE/EXAMPLES

Screenshots attached. I can't take screenshots of my characters with the garbage effect on. Allow me to hide it.

I feel that the option should be given to the owner of the effect and not everyone, so the owner can turn it on and off at will. Allowing a general setting for everyone will simply push the game further into "ghost mode" where no one sees anything but their own character 24/7. The trail effect is the only of its kind and only attached to rank 1 2 and 3, I feel that everyone else SHOULD have to see it on others when they have it, but i also think the owner should be able to turn it off for themselves through their choice

Nah, why should they eat our fps bc they log in at all? There are less total of these effects than anything else at all.

In my opinion, BnS has some of the best looking characters for an MMO despite some of my gripes like the Gon male low poly body which looks awful by today's standards. So if they keep adding all these effects on top of characters, soon enough I won't even be able to see my damn character.

If they didn't add those Advanced Visual options, he would constantly have an annoying dark cloud effect from the unity stone. I already have to turn off nameplates because they are legit visual handicaps for combat to me and cover the screen too much. Same reason I have damage numbers turned off too. Soon enough if they keep stacking effect upon effect on top of the character, it will begin to look like WoW's UI meme but BnS edition because the entire character is covered in crap effects.
The only effect I agree to have on my character are those from weapon skins because I chose to put those on. Stuff like Unity or this Rank effect, I have no control over and I don't like it. (At least Unity can be removed now)
