Prized Possession power core movement not right.

When rolling the power core out of the facility, I am finding it increasingly more difficult to go left or right while holding onto it. This is blatantly apparent when rolling the core up a hill as I have NO capability for intentional left or right movement and am at the mercy of gravity/momentum to get the core to the pod. Is this happening for anybody else?
