I had an idea, last night, of a “present retrieval” mission that could happen on & around Roachard’d birthday.
The crew each gets Roachard a gift, but the ship delivering them crashed on New Atlas after a Railgun shot clobbered it with debris. Now, the crew needs to get through the fungus, find the cargo crate with their gifts, and deliver it to the Cargo Pod.
Bruiser ordered a couch, Scrapper ordered a cake, Glider got him a flat-screen, & Wrangler ordered a new satellite recorder.
Each gift is in a large box (wrapped in one of the Crew’s Colors) that needs to be dragged along into the drop-pod, though the fungus can’t take the gifts like with the power core of Prized Possession. When all gifts are in the pod, the mission ends as everyone gets brought back, and Roachard receives a damn good birthday party as a result.
Thinking it could be kinda fun! Roachard is such a good boss, and I think it’d be nice if the crew could get him some things to celebrate his big day!
