my upgrades are also linked in image but heres the names of them: domed, for good measure, with you, with me, force redistribution, hold the line, reinforced plating, to dust, unconditional protector.

Doesn't happen on other characters it seems, the other bruiser in my game was able to do it too it seems

i dont know if the upgrades mattered as the other bruiser had different upgrades and yet also was able to do it

oh it also deletes the old shield when you open the menu and close it
