Unless if I'm not feeling it cusse I just output a shit ton of damage
So they don't have specific attributes like u mentioned?
News to me
the only upgrade that i can think of that actually does have an impact is rot, and that is exclusive to acid grenades
This would be grest cuase of the other 3 reasons that are locked
They'd have specific engines for each grenade
Wonder what our 4th grenade would be 🤔
Do some undead type suit where it's a healing grenade that damaged the undead enemies in the reason while healing yoy like the grenade upgrade that heals u when throw as its main perfect without needing the upgrade
Fire should deal higher damage to any limbs that are majority fungus (flesh?) and the fire DoT should persist on them, and deal lower damage to mechanical parts such as weapons (Fire being hot wouldn't really harm the laser cannon on a fungus guy because laser is already hot)
Shock should deal higher damage to mechanical parts, be able to damage shields and eventually disable them, and deal lower damage to the largely metallic (basically the grounded parts)
and Corrosion should deal higher damage to metallic / armored parts, and less to the fungus heavy parts (because mushroom has yum for the sludge...)
destroying spare limbs is an incredibly important thing to do as well which I think would give fire more of a niche as it's a bit lacking now
Have shock less dmg focus, have it temporarily pause weapon functions and do metal damage cuz conductivity, but lower fungus dmg
