This Friday marks the beginning of a long holiday weekend here in Korea. So I’m posting this update and video a little earlier than usual before heading home to my beloved wife and son.

If you take a close look at this week’s video, you’ll notice that many of the improvements I mentioned at the beginning of the year have been implemented in inZOI. The game still has many shortcomings, but I truly believe that with continued dedication throughout 2026, it will become something much better.

Recently, we have been developing an in-game GUI system to make cheats easier to use. However, cheats by nature cannot guarantee perfect stability, and they can increase the likelihood of unexpected behavior in the game. Since inZOI already has its share of bugs, we were concerned that adding cheats might create additional confusion, which is why we postponed this feature for some time. That said, through ongoing communication with you, we clearly saw the strong demand for cheat functionality, and we are now actively working on it. The upcoming update will include several new cheats.šŸ¤“

Regarding modding, we have assigned additional team members to accelerate support for script modding. The key challenge is connecting all systems through Lua scripts. inZOI has accumulated a large number of functions and systems over time, and linking them one by one requires more effort and cost than initially expected. Even so, please know that modding remains one of our top priorities this year.

Happy holiday Kjun, and I hope you enjoy the long weekend with your family!

Some great stuff shown in the video above - the new multitasking actions look particularly promising, and it's great to see more customisation and interactions for babies. I'm also happy to see that you can now switch to new dialogue actions immediately after cancelling old ones (if I understand correctly). It would be even better if queued-up dialogue interactions would automatically override the 'small talk' action, as it's very annoying to have to cancel it manually every time. Might this be possible?

Other things in the video: I like the idea of being able to see your current surroundings while changing outfits. For the 'frying pan slap', perhaps this could be used to fend off burglars who try to break into the property? This seems like a relatively light-hearted way to include it without having Zois randomly bash each other.

Many thanks for the new in-game build mode and CAZ assets - they are beautiful. However, I was wondering what happened to the new beds shown at 0:19 of the 6th February update video (https://forum.playinzoi.com/t/topic/9848). These don't seem to be included in the update - is this an error/oversight, or are they just not ready yet?

Maybe just blur the background behind the panels for better readability, and as the next step, implement this CAZ‑like try‑on window in clothing stores (boutiques) before purchasing, so we can always see the actual fitting‑room environment, plus posing for immersion.

And then comes exclusive clothing for boutiques, adding items to a shopping cart from this CAZ-like try-on window, displaying the total purchase amount for checkout.

I definitely like the direction (surprising, right? šŸ˜‰), and I’ll be glad to follow the further development of this concept.

Hello,

I would like to share a few requests and suggestions.

  1. Pocket delivery improvements – reducing gameplay fatigue
    Please allow deliveries to be sent to either the home or business location. When running a shop and buying ingredients, it’s inconvenient to return home just to receive items. While cooking on-site is fun, being able to order food or ingredients and resell them in smaller portions would enable more diverse playstyles. It would also help if purchased items could go directly into the inventory.

  2. Funeral improvements – better immersion
    Please allow names to be entered on memorial tablets, which would be useful for urns, memorial objects, and funeral scenes.
    A wall-mounted portrait frame with a black memorial ribbon would better suit traditional Korean funerals.
    Adding a ā€œReceive Comfortā€ interaction for the bereaved family would also feel more natural, as switching characters manually breaks immersion.

For the funeral flow, visitors greeting the family first, waiting seated when others are interacting, and taking turns with actions such as lighting incense, bowing, and offering flowers would prevent overlapping and look more realistic.

  1. Camera speed option
    Please add an option to adjust WASD camera movement speed. I prefer exploring slowly, and the current speed sometimes causes dizziness.

This week’s development video was very impressive. I loved the two-handed food animation and the adorable baby outfits.
Thank you for consistently sharing updates twice a week — I truly trust and appreciate the inZOI team. I’ll continue cheering you on.

I’ve expanded the functionality of the Families section.

When pressing ā€œNew Gameā€ in the main menu, players should be given two options:

  1. Create a New Family
  2. Create a World

This would allow players to create a new world without being forced to create a new family every time.

If the player selects ā€œCreate a World,ā€ they would go directly to the map selection screen and load into the chosen world. From there, they could open the ā€œFamily Libraryā€ section (which I conceptually added in the mockup) and select previously saved families.

For example, if a player saved a family while playing in another world and wants to move to a new world after a major update, they wouldn’t have to start from scratch. They could save their family — with all achievements, skills, inventory, etc. — into the Family Library, then load that family into the new world and move them into a house of their choice.

Right now, I feel exhausted having to create a new character and restart from zero after every major update.

I also added a ā€œFamilies in This Worldā€ button. This would display the families currently living in that specific city. This tab would function the same way it does now — showing only the households that belong to the active world.

I kindly ask you to place this feature under the ā€œFundamentals Firstā€ category, as it is a core quality-of-life system essential for long-term gameplay comfort. From a technical perspective, much of this system already seems partially implemented.

Additionally, families from this section could also be uploaded to Canvas.

At the request of a user, I'm posting this again from the last thread.

I really hope that Inzoi will be successful in the future and that the player base will increase again. Inzoi has enormous potential! In their defense, the game is still in early access and the roadmap is good. Therefore, I'm hoping for the best! šŸ€ I'm sure they're working hard on Inzoi.

However, I must admit that I can't stay motivated for long in Life Mode. šŸ™ This is partly due to the lack of quality-of-life features and bugs, and partly due to the missing or superficial core elements. As a family gamer, I unfortunately quickly reach its limits. The game simply lacks depth.
While I am looking forward to topics like crime and judge or business and more, I think the focus should initially be first on these topics:

Part 1

  • Bug fixing and quality of life improvements (e.g., auto lightning, non-auto-changing clothes, better group meals and dishes for 1-6 family members, different hairstyles with different outfit categories, save all outfit categories per Zoi, etc. (These points and more were mentioned in detail in the comments above).

  • Longer animations (e.g. reading books or fitness) and a better quality: all animations concerning the daily needs (eating, sleeping, showering) should be improved. Different sleeping positions and remove towels when showering (maybe add white foam). A better immersion is important to enjoy playing. The skill system should also improved: different animations based on the level and noticeable effects at higher levels to make it more worthwhile.

  • Final appearance and height for all age groups. Currently, all ages younger than adults feels incomplete. It's time to focus on this. Toddlers and adolescents are currently the most unplayable. Only then is playing as a family fun. After this improvements, please integrate all age groups into the CaZ so that it is complete.

Thank you for expanding the mod team, that's an amazing show of dedication to bringing us script modding as soon as possible. Also really liking what I see in this video, especially the baby teeth.

Since you talked about cheats, and have also talked about better control of autonomous behavior and story progression in the future, I'd like to add an important suggestion in this regard:

Better control over LGBTQ+ Zoi spawn settings
Currently, Zoi characters who are gay, bisexual, transgender, nonbinary, or asexual (aro/ace) only appear if the player changes their own Zoi’s settings to something other than straight.

These LGBTQ+ Zoi only appear as NPCs. They do not appear as residential families or idle households. Also, Zois are always born into your world as straight by default, unless the player manually changes this.

For players like me, LGBTQ+ identities should feel like a natural and inevitable part of life in the game, not something that only appears when manually selected.
I suggest adding a system that allows players to adjust the probability that any Zoi will spawn as something other than straight.

This should apply to:

  • Newborn Zoi
  • Residential households and idle families
  • NPCs

For inspiration, you could look at the mod NRaas StoryProgression for The Sims 3. In that mod, players can set percentage values for different gender preferences.

For example:
70% straight
20% bisexual
10% gay

Based on these chances, a Sim’s preference is automatically determined when:

  • they age up into a teenager, or
  • they spawn into the game world
    The way this mod works, is that the game will first roll a yes or no for the lowest percentage chance (gay in this case). Then if it's a no, it'll move on to the next one (bi). If that one is also a no, the last one is automatically assigned (straight).

A similar adjustable percentage-based system both for sexuality (gay, bi, straight, asexual, pansexual) Ɣnd gender identity (cisgender, transgender, nonbinary) in Inzoi would allow players to adjust representation according to their preferences. This would give more control while also making LGBTQ+ identities feel like a natural part of the game world for anyone who wishes this to be so.

Part 2

  • Depht personality system: Zois absolutely must feel unique. Many great suggestions came from the community. There should be many characterization options in CaZ, and the effects in life mode must be noticeable. Zois' autonomous behavior, communications, reactions, and animations should be reflected.

  • Depth gameplay: expansion of multitasking and group activities, more animations/activities across all age groups with usable furniture. Initially, new furniture doesn't need to be added - existing furniture needs to be animated. And further interaction possibilities within families.

That’s are important fundamentals and the base for me. After that, the (fantastic) roadmap could be worked through again.

This isn't an urgent request but for future...Please add more ghost interactions that have a lasting impact on living zois. This would give the ghost experience more purpose (especially for zois that die with a good karma rating).

Some possible impacts might include:
• A ghost zoi helps a living zoi build skills.
• A ghost zoi passes one trait to a living zoi.
• A ghost zoi influences the relationship between two living zois.
• A ghost zoi influences the values of a living zoi.

**Expanding the Job Systems (Roadmap)

(Waitress/Waiter Career)**

With the added improvements of multitasking to use both hands, adding a server job as an official and interactive career would be cool and can be something done with no or little qualifications needed. This job can also be something teenagers can do as well as part time.

Gameplay Scope Suggestion:

Customers come in restaurant/store and sit down. They read from a menu and the food or drink item they want to order will be displayed over their head along with a bar meter indicating customers’ patience level. Additionally, a UI list can be shown to keep up with customers’ orders .

The server will stop by the kitchen or to the chef to place customer's order and wait for the chef to either cook the food or prepare drink. Once the food/drink is ready, the server will pick up the order and go to the customer to deliver their order before the patience bar runs out. If the order is not delivered in time, customers should react **negatively and leave without eating/drinking **which should impact job performance and bonus tips received.

If the order is delivered to the customer before their patience runs out, a bonus tip should be received. The faster the order is given to the customer the bigger the bonus tips should be.

Progression:

To keep gameplay from being repetitive and interesting as a player gets promoted as a server, maybe incoporate where customers can make combo orders (food and drink) or (2 drinks) or etc. which in return will make bonus tips from customers bigger. Additionally as players are promoted, maybe incorporate where players can receive benefits perks such as slowing down customers' patience bar, 10% added to total bonus tips received per day and etc.

**Rush Hour: ** A suprise traffic of customers coming in unexpectedly. During rush hour, bonus tips should be multiplied.

(*) This is a rather old game, but I am using this as a visual reference as it shows the basic core mechanics and gameplay for a server: taking an order from a customer, relaying it to the chef, waiting for the chef to prepare the meal and delivering the order to the customer.

I hope the camera movement can be made smoother.

Currently, when using Ctrl + Up/Down arrows to zoom in and out, the camera movement feels stable and smooth,with a good sense of weight and tension.
However, when rotating the camera with the mouse or moving with the WASD keys, the movement feels somewhat rough and abrupt.
Although motion blur can slightly soften this effect, it does not seem to be a fundamental solution.
Additionally, when zoomed out to view a wider area, the movement speed increases drastically when using the arrow keys or WASD. In contrast,
when zoomed in, the camera moves more slowly and calmly, which makes exploring the surroundings much more enjoyable.
It would be great if an option could be added that allows users to adjust the camera movement speed themselves.
Since this game already provides an excellent level of immersion with its realistic graphics, I believe improving the camera controls is essential.
Natural and smooth camera movement greatly enhances the feeling of truly being inside the game world.
I have tried to describe my thoughts as clearly and thoroughly as possible. I hope my feedback is helpful.

I believe the cities in inZOI shouldn’t be different only visually, but also culturally and behaviorally.

We know that:

Bliss Bay is inspired by Santa Monica, California (USA).
Dowon is inspired by Gangnam, Seoul (South Korea).
Cahaya will be inspired by tropical destinations in Indonesia.

If each city has such a strong real-world inspiration, then NPCs should also behave according to the culture of that place — not all in the same way.

Right now, even though the cities look different, character behavior feels very similar across them. This reduces immersion.

My idea is that each city should have:

• Its own distinct culture
• Exclusive traditions
• Unique local events
• Different social habits
• Different ways of expressing emotions and affection
• Unique social reactions to romance, fame, and scandals

For example:

Bliss Bay could have a more open, expressive, and social culture, with more natural public displays of affection, beach festivals, outdoor events, and a relaxed mindset.

Dowon could have a more reserved culture focused on status and success, where public displays of affection are more discreet, social hierarchy is more visible, and events are more formal and sophisticated.

Cahaya could have a more traditional and community-centered culture, with cultural festivals, strong ties to family and nature, and social interactions shaped by local customs.

This would make:

Romance feel different in each city
Social progression more realistic
Fame function differently depending on the location
The overall experience much more immersive

Having three different cities should mean three different social experiences — not just three different settings.

I believe a city-based cultural system would make inZOI much deeper, more realistic, and more memorable.

I'm looking forward to the bicycles/ multitasking updates and I'm absolutely loving the the special interaction when wearing traditional clothing. The babies having no teeth at the start and less teeth as they grow is also a major plus.

Some suggestions for things I think would improve the quality of the game:

  • Improvements to the door locking system. Currently, only the head of the household can lock doors/ change permissions. It would be more useful if each door had an access list that every household member (child +) could edit. For example, Child Suzy could lock her bedroom door for herself, but allow access to her parents Jack and Jill. This would make it much nicer to play large families or simulate apartment living.

  • A toggle or a cheat to turn off the Scheduled Routine system. At the moment, Zoi are running all around the house and taking multiple showers to fill their hygiene gauge when their hygiene gauge is already full. The whole process takes hours in the game and stops Zoi from actually interacting with each other and their surroundings.

  • Improvements to the appearance of adolescents. These middle school children look just like young adults. While this is possible in reality, in a game players should be able to tell at a glance that they are interacting with a child character. Making them shorter than the teens would be very helpful.

Thank you for the wonderful Friday update! I truly enjoy all the features you’ve showcased, especially those related to family and children, as this is a very important aspect of the game. I also really appreciate the implementation of the change clothes anywhere
feature - it makes gameplay much more convenient. I hope we will also see the development of boutiques and more unique clothing in the future

It would be amazing if stores could offer clothing created by other players using their own textures, along with a special library of standalone items from the developers. That way, shops would become real shopping destinations where players go specifically to buy goods and items, rather than just functioning as a placeholder lot

Regarding cheats, I would love to see a built-in UI system: click on a specific need to refill it; click on money to enter the desired amount; click on a wish to complete it; click on a career to promote it, and so on. This kind of integrated tool would be extremely convenient.

As for mods, I’m really looking forward to full support for script mods. I personally want to create mods as well, but the documentation can be difficult, especially if English is not your native language — it’s easy to get lost. It would be fantastic to have an AI assistant integrated into the modding tool that helps with learning, error detection, and explaining templates that could be expanded into much larger projects.

Once again, thank you for delivering on the core items from the roadmap. Please continue following this plan — it’s excellent, and you’re doing a great job!

I figured that external platforms like CONNECT Gamewear (CLO) and Palet’s seasonal drops would get attention more and more, (and there’s an in‑game banners in v0.6.0), so I’ll repost this concept again, because I feel like everything is coming together into one chain.

Fashion Design and Distribution: branded boutiques and online marketplaces

• Each branded boutique can offer its own assortment and collections (players can optionally lock this stuff in CAZ.)
• This approach allows players to access content as part of fictional (or real) brands, collections, and gameplay systems including in-game pricing, discounts, and seasonal drops.

• With MyBusiness, players would be able to create their own brands:

  • new crafting mechanics – sew or order custom designs (with CLO), craft jewellery;
  • import or generate logos, manage collections and pricing;
  • build their own boutiques, stock racks and dress mannequins;
  • create storefronts on a marketplace;
  • run ads and collaborations with idols and other celebrities (Bubbly, Adam Entertainment, billboards).

• Players can access these collections:

  • right in the boutiques (racks and mannequins – the outfit should be recognizable, try-on zone, catalogs);
  • through the PocketMarket App, especially if pickup points are planned in the game.

• Like in lots of action-RPG and life-sim games:

  • trying on should be super clear and easy, a unified CAZ-like UI with unique boutique background screen to mix and match outfits and add them to the cart for the next payment step, just like IRL;
  • the same applies to skincare products, perfumes,, beauty, tattoo salons and barbershops – the mechanics are the same, but more variety is always a win.

Hello Kjun and the whole team, thank you so much for your work! However, the new outfits are causing problems. They're quite flared, and the Zoi's arms disappear inside them. The same goes for some of the children's dresses; those that are flared have arms, hands, and forearms disappear inside. The new boots have the same issue as the old ones: they're too flared from the calf down, creating a funnel shape that's neither aesthetically pleasing not realistic. I hope you'll fix the numerous bugs and improve the aesthetics of the clothing, boots, CAS system, etc. In short, prioritize the game's core mechanics. I wish you a very happy holiday! 🤩

I suggested this before, but I haven't received a response, so I'm reposting it.
I think the "skill" leveling process is too fast, which makes it less fun. Do you have any ideas for skill level difficulty?
I'd like to see a much higher difficulty level.
Everything in inzoi feels "too easy." I'd like to see improvements that slow down the progression and increase the difficulty as the level increases, so that players can continue to enjoy the game and feel a sense of accomplishment.

For example, it would be good to divide the difficulty into levels 1-3 (beginner), 4-6 (intermediate), and 7-10 (advanced). Each level presents a challenge to overcome to advance to the next. The challenges become increasingly more difficult as the level progresses, with the final level 10 requiring the most difficult challenge to reach.
Another good idea would be to have players win a competition at a festival (like a singing contest, drawing contest, or cooking contest) to reach the final level.

Make the player feel as if they're climbing a mountaintop. And make sure you feel a sense of accomplishment when you reach the top.

Id also love to see more showcasing of things like varying voice tones, differing sleep animations, the minimap, differing walking animations (things you've mentioned working on in the Wednesday updates in video form. ) and then also would like to see the travel system be moved up the list on fundamentals and wasd for swimming underwater

ZOI lifespans should be adjusted.
Based on a 3 day pregnancy, each day is basically 90 days.

However based on a 100 day lifespan, each day is more like a year.

This discrepancy is difficult to account for through toggling on/off aging as ZOIs can be born on different days. So toggling on/off every few days isn't a good solution. By relying on just the toggle, some ZOIs will spend more days at certain stages of life than others.

Adjusting life spans to 400 days would drastically reduce the difference. This would also give players more time with their mortal zoi to fully explore different aspects of inZOI life.

Also, many people have been requesting a change to the towel-wrapping feature while showering, but we've never received a response.
This also requires a response. Are you truly unwilling to change it?
If the mosaic effect seems suggestive,
we could consider covering the body with foam, or perhaps blurring the body. Please reach a conclusion on this before launch.
Bathing with a towel wrapped around you feels really awkward and less immersive.

For example… a public kiss in Dowon might spark gossip.
In Bliss Bay? Totally normal.

Zoi Skill System: Focus & Cooldown

  1. Focus Bar
    Zoi has a finite mental/physical energy (Focus), which depletes when performing skill actions
    Can increase with bonus buffs or special traits. Performing a skill action drains Focus over time (e.g., 5–15 points per session depending on intensity/duration). Focus regenerates over time, faster if Zoi rests, eats, or does relaxing actions.
    Effects: High Focus → XP gain bonus or chance for "critical learning moments" (e.g., extra XP or inspiration).
    Low Focus → reduced XP gain, slower skill progression.
    Focus depleted → Zoi stops learning and needs recovery (preventing AFK farming).

  2. Skill Cooldowns
    Each skill has a cooldown timer, preventing continuous repetition and forcing meaningful pacing.
    After completing a skill session, that skill enters a cooldown before Zoi can gain full XP again.
    Cooldowns can scale with Zoi’s level:
    Higher level → longer cooldowns the closer to mastery.
    Lower level → faster recovery, encouraging variety of skills.
    Benefits: Prevents AFK skill farming.
    Encourages players to rotate skills and engage with multiple activities.

When a Zoi chooses Medical Birth from the computer or the laptop and gets consent from a Zoi whom they are not married to, the baby only sees the Zoi who applied for the Medical Birth as family. Currently, the baby does not recognize the second parent who has given consent as family.

Please change this so the baby recognizes BOTH donors as family even if they are unmarried Zois. There’s a consent button so that part should not be seen as an issue. The baby even uses both sets of the parents’ genetics. Both should absolutely be recognized as parents.

There is also a notable oversight due to this feature lacking. It is very unlikely to happen, but the current system can in theory allow two genetically ā€˜related’ Zois to use romantic actions with each other once they grow up. Half-siblings from unmarried medical births can easily do this. Allowing both parents of medical birth babies to always be recognized as family would fix this issue, and allow for more consistent family trees and gameplay.

I'd also like to know what the developers think about sleeping positions. Currently, Zoi sleep so motionless that they look like stones.
We want a wide variety of sleeping positions. These positions would be much more realistic if Zoi were to randomly change positions each time they sleep.
We'd also like to see couples or spouses change positions when sleeping together.
It would be fun to show loving couples cuddling, while couples who aren't on good terms sleeping with their backs turned.

Some minor feedback:
Baby Teeth: when babies finally get teeth can it please not be a full mouth of teeth. They should have a couple teeth but not a full mouth... It looks strange.
On the topic of babies, are we going to see any improvements on the way babies and toddlers look? Right now they look the same. Toddlers and babies are not the same height and are at different stages of development. It's uncanny. Toddlers should be taller than the current babies and they should be toddling around. Babies should be learning to sit, rolling over, and crawling. Toddlers should be learning to walk and to walk well, as well as language skills, potty training, and other developmental skills.

I really like the skill system you proposed.
I like the idea that you have to "manage your focus" while learning skills. If skills were always easy to acquire, it would be boring and uninteresting. I like that zois consume, regenerate, and manage their focus, using that focus to diligently acquire skills.
A zoi with a personality that enjoys acquiring knowledge might improve their focus more quickly than others.
Or a zoi with a dull or distracted personality might lose focus quickly.
It would be fun to differentiate zois based on their personality.

And as mentioned earlier, there should be levels: Beginner (1-3), Intermediate (4-5), Advanced (6-8), and Expert (9-10). (This is just an example.)

I think it would be good to have tasks assigned to advance to the next level. Only by completing those tasks would beginners unlock the Intermediate level.
I wish learning skills were more challenging. I especially hope the final expert level involves winning a competition or completing a very difficult task.

Later, when Zoi is working, if he can use these hard-earned skills to get promoted, the player's sense of accomplishment will be doubled.

Babies: be able to create them in CAZ, have many outfits, be able to learn to rollover, sit, pull up on furniture, scoot, and eventually crawl.

Toddlers: need to be taller than babies and have a toddler appearance. We should be able to make them in CAZ. They should have their own outfits, hairstyles, and poses for pictures. They should be learning to walk, talk, potty train, and critical thinking skills.

Adolescents: Need to be taller than children and shorter than teens. They should be in CAZ. They should have their own outfits, hairstyles, and poses.

Elders: They need to have more wrinkles all over their body along with age spots and noticeable signs of aging besides their face.

I know this is way on the back burner, but I think it would be adorable to have the option to include infants and children in weddings. They can be flower girls, ring bearers, or junior bridesmaids and junior groomsmen. There have been many players who mention not seeing children that much around town. Also, babies and toddlers are currently bound to the house so having them be included more in formal events would be lovely.

I’m finding that maybe KJun and the team are misguided on what core functionality people want to be fixed now and what to work on in the future. When I read the roadmap the fundamentals seem like they should be feature that are implemented once basics are throughly developed.

Thanks for another update, I am glad you are focusing on the fundamentals first. Below are some of my observations/ideas

• Zois should behave differently in different cities and have different events/traditions. I also believe the NPC’s should also look/dress more like you would expect in those cities .

•Text message conversations need improving they are very repetitive and random.. it would be nice to see them flow more naturally.

• A proper restaurant system from waiting to be seated, looking at the menu, ordering, receiving food and payment.

•Speed up needs fulfilling actions like eating as I find this takes up so much time.

•Zois not sitting with strangers in restaurants/cafes

•Venues seem sparse and the menus seem to be the same everywhere.

• Lots of empty spaces still in cities and it’s really hard to find where you want to go when driving and on foot without constantly opening the map.

•It would be nice to have other Zois live in apartment buildings next door.

• Have an option to ā€˜Go on holiday’ rather than have to move cities. For example go on holiday to Cahaya and rather than having to buy a house there you can pick one of the resort hotel rooms (these could also be added to other cities)

Thank you for the increased focus on script mods - this could be a real game changer. I was also happy to see the recent announcement that improved graphic settings will be restored to accommodate higher end machines. I would also like to see more optional settings to allow for a more premium experience - more zois in the world to create a livelier environment, increased number of zois allowed to visit public/business lots (especially larger clubs that seem nearly empty and lack the proper atmosphere), etc. The next biggest thing on my wish list is to be able to save complete families. It takes way too much time to start a new save when you have multiple custom families in the world.

And I also agree that npc characters should live in the apartment next to our apartment as well, so we can have neighbors inside the apartment complex and by having this, the apartment complex will feel more like an actual real life apartment. Sadly as of right now, it feels like we are the only one living in the apartment complex.

Thank you for this lovely game! The recent update is so beautiful. A small request: I’d love to see a perpetually snowy, mountainous Canvas Town where we could ski, just like in The Sims 4 Snowy Escape EP. Watching my Zois drink cocoa and get cozy in a log cabin hot tub or jacuzzi, hit the slopes on skis, race down hills on sleds, and zip around on snowmobiles would really bring this game to life as the face of the next generation of the life simulation genre. I hope I can get back on the game soon. After the update the other day, my game crashes at the pony heads popup. Please fix this. I've been playing since last March and have 80 Zois in 4 cities, and have written their photo stories. Hopefully the crash at that same spot, after loading, can be fixed soon. I have no mods enabled, and have reported it, as other players have had same problem.
I love InZoi šŸ«¶šŸ¼ and looking forward to getting back on it.

it would be a good idea to divide the skill levels into levels 1-3 (beginner level), 4-6 (intermediate level), and 7-10 (expert level), and then provide challenges that must be overcome to advance to the next level. It's so adorable seeing the toddler copying the duck toy. Toddlers could try to copy adults as well.

Hopefully we'll be able to teach toddlers how to walk, talk, and use the potty. Also, there should be consequences for not doing so. For example if a toddler doesn't learn how to use the potty then their bladder needs will deplete faster and they could set the bed when they get older. If they don't learn to walk they might trip over their own feet more often. If they don't learn how to talk it can cause conversations to go badly more often.

I'm glad that script modding has come up again, because after enough time thinking about it, learning and overall seeing things, I've been wondering.

Can we not still get access to the Unreal Blueprints you originally had planned, provided they are still around and haven't been completely discarded? I just think for script modding, it absolutely would be better to have something rather than nothing until who knows how long compared to the original idea, and also if you still want to continue with the LUA idea, I just don't think having two options for script modding is a bad idea, and it would just be implemented later?

I LOVE THE NEW UPDATE! I am happy to see the new bike animation added. Thank you for that šŸ˜ šŸ™ !!! What stuck out to me the most is the ability to use BOTH hands to hold TWO different objects and actions specific to certain clothing. That’s such a neat element. It should be expanded upon when creating cities so zois from those corresponding places can feel different. Hopefully, in the future, we can have a system that supports multitasking for driving so zois can talk and animate separately from the object!

The point that "Unused skills decay over time" is crucial! It's really interesting.
Mastering a skill to the highest level isn't the end of the road.
If a player masters a skill and achieves everything, it's easy for them to feel empty and bored.
However, "skill deterioration" can serve as a powerful stimulus to relieve the player's "emptiness" by making them feel the need to constantly manage and pay attention to even the most mastered skills.

It would also be fun to create a "certification" category linked to occupations.
As a skill reaches the intermediate level, it unlocks the opportunity to obtain a specialized certification, which could easily land a desired job or advance in their current position.
Certifications unlock opportunities for higher-level certifications as a skill progresses from intermediate to advanced to expert (Grade 3->Grade 2->Grade 1).

Additionally, skills should be further subdivided.
For example, the current "Instrument" level should be subdivided into drums, piano, DJing, guitar, etc. The idea that simply raising an instrument level will instantly give you access to all instruments is overly simplistic, unrealistic, and detracts from the immersion.

Furthermore, as you pointed out, regarding the bonuses and penalties associated with childhood,
let me elaborate:
While personality and genetics can give you an "innate" talent for a skill,
you can also develop an "acquired" interest and passion for that skill based on the type of play you engage with during your childhood.
For example, if you frequently play with crayons as a child, you may develop a passion for art skills in the future, and that passion will positively impact your skill learning speed as an adult.

To elaborate on your point about "some skills being disabled":
People with a personality that dislikes art or lacks artistic sense will have their art and music skills disabled (locked) from birth.
People who are lazy and messy will have their housework skills disabled.
This prevents the odd scenario where someone who dislikes art masters art skills.
(However, if you want to lift these restrictions, it might be a good idea to create a reward within the rewards category that allows you to lift these restrictions.)

Hi Kjun, when will we be able to save clothing, hair and accessories to each outfit category in CAZ? Currently, only the Everyday category saves my selected outfit. All the other outfit categories get randomized when I save my Zoi in the Presets. This has been like this since the CAZ was first released last year and it wasn't fixed then and still isn't now. I'm a bit disappointed. If the Sims 4 can manage this, I'm sure Inzoi could too.

Hello, I see that many players are requesting clothing, but it needs to be done correctly. For example, with traditional outfits, when the Zoi have their arms at their sides, part of them disappears, their hands are no longer visible, and it's the same with all the outfits, especially flared dresses. Children and little girls don't have many of these, and the flared ones are unwearable! All the flaws in the outfits and accessories haven't been fixed... Instead of adding new items, it's essential to fix all the bugs, make the gameplay more enjoyable, and review the CAZ system and how the Zoi change outfits—for example, the winter outfit that's kept indoors! Updates keep coming, but the essential fixes aren't being addressed. It's really a shame; I get the feeling the team hears but doesn't listen...

Furthermore, when the Zoi stop changing clothes using other Zoi's wardrobes, even if they have one in their own room, it's quite annoying. Similarly, they never stop cleaning; when they're hungry, they take food out of the refrigerator, put it down, and start all over again. They don't eat it, and everything is taken out! When I switch to build mode and then back to live mode, the Zoi who were inside the house all end up outside! Sometimes the action list doesn't fill up; there are a few bugs, but there are others... I've cleared the game cache and the Steam cache, but it doesn't help, so these are definitely game bugs.

And what about all the objects that could be functional but aren't? For example, safes – you can't put anything in them – the small bathtub for toddlers or infants, the baby loungers for toddlers or infants, as well as a resting cushion, the changing table... And when the tanning function is added, it would be logical to see the birds' skin change color, tanned or bronzed depending on the perfect amount of time with exposure, a positive buff, and if they don't use protective cream they become red with a buff. Soothing cream could reduce this buff; currently, whether the birds tan or not, there is no change.

Hi Kjun, enjoying the weekly updates. Glad to see the continued improvements on the bike, I hope the stroller animations are coming along as well. As for the infants, glad to see the teeth being removed and clothes being added. Still would like to see the infants shrunken down a bit so that they look more different (size wise) from toddlers. Also, would like more interactions for infants like being able to change the baby at the changing table, giving baths for both infants and/or toddlers in an actual tub or baby basin, being able to rock in a chair with infant or toddler or sit and read to infant or toddler in a chair. I'm glad to see toddlers get more interactions (still would like a crib for toddlers) but the infants still seem stuck to the crib and don't have a lot of interactions with the Zoi. I still hope you plan to add both infant and toddler to CAZ so that we can create them with a family before starting a new game instead of waiting to either adopt or wait to have a Zoi give birth in-game. Lastly, I still would like auto lights added to the game where Zois can easily toggle on/off for all the lights in the entire house or in certain rooms and we need more functional playground items for the kids maybe even add some jump ropes, scooters, roller skates (what happened to the skate park?) or sprinkler set for the kids. These activities could also add fitness skill for the kids, and you could even make them usable for adults as well.

I really hope you improve these four things by the April update.

They're incredibly inconvenient and seriously reduce immersion in the game.

  • 'Auto-lighting feature' -> Since this feature isn't available yet, you have to click on the lights individually, which is incredibly inconvenient.

  • 'Habit of changing clothes without permission' -> Zoi keeps changing clothes without permission, causing inconveniences that require you to change her back to her normal clothes.

(Example: When walking around the beach in a swimsuit, she keeps changing back to her regular clothes.)

And

  • 'Fixed short animations' and 'Sitting down in a chair first when starting a conversation'

These two features seriously reduce immersion in the game.

Most hobbies and play activities last less than 30 seconds, so players have to repeat the same actions over and over again, which is inconvenient.
Please keep repeating the activity until the player cancels it.

When Zoi starts a conversation with someone she meets on the street, why does she always start by sitting in a chair?
Even when the owner of a bakery is interacting with customers, she starts the conversation sitting in a chair.
Even with strangers she's just met. Isn't it more natural to talk while standing? This is so awkward and strange, it ruins the immersion.

Do the developers really not find these parts inconvenient? Or are these four issues taking a long time to improve?
I'd really like to hear answers to these questions.

  • If you don't manage your friends in the game, is there a case where your relationship index gradually declines? I don't think I've seen this in inzoi.

Just because you're friends doesn't mean they'll last forever.
You need to meet up and talk regularly to maintain your friendship. I think this should be a fundamental feature in the game. It would add depth to the gameplay.
It would be fun if there were a gradual decline from "Awkward Friends" to "Distant Friends."

  • Currently, there are plans to meet up with multiple friends, but unfortunately, there aren't any one-on-one meetings. I'd like to see more one-on-one dates with friends.
    Friends should frequently contact you to meet up.
    Friends choose a location and invite you to hang out there.
    This event should be a basic feature.

I'd like to see more diverse activities at the beach and pool.
I'd especially love to see NPCs swimming freely and having fun.
What fun would it be if the only swimmer was a player-controlled zoi? This is crucial for immersion.

I'd also like to see more activities like building sandcastles on the beach (especially artistic zois can create fantastic castles!), taking sand baths, playing beach volleyball, splashing people in the pool, and competing for the longest underwater time.

It's a shame that the Island DLC didn't include as many of these as I'd hoped.

It looks like people ask for things to be like in the Sims, but then suddenly it’s bad and they don’t want it that way)) These are different franchises, and esp. if smth is done poorly in one, it really shouldn’t affect the other. In Paralives, the personality skill system is original (and press F, LBY), so indie devs can do it, but a 9B company can’t. That’s why it’s better to study other games and build some expertise to avoid unnecessary collisions with TS.

Another problem is that TS has its own long‑time quirks, strange, funny, and sometimes deep lore‑narrative elements. And for non‑hardcore players it’s easy to just play it and have fun (even it didn’t work well), and even if it isn’t fun, it still sells because of the title. But in inZOI, any trimmed system without that kind of foundation will look exactly as it is, because there are no contributing factors behind.

kjun, I really want to mention this too.
you need to add more, much more, lines from the voice actors.
Others may have noticed this, but while there are a lot of dialogue options in the game, when you actually click on them, the voice actors' lines are often the same.
This means that even though the dialogue menus are different, the zois are saying the same lines.
I tried selecting the pregnancy-related dialogue menu for the first time, and oh my, the voice actor's lines were the same as other chatter.
For each dialogue, a voice actor must do 2-3 different dubbings. And the Zoi should randomly choose one of them.(It would be okay to add lines with different feelings depending on the personality)
This will deepen the immersion and make the Zoi feel alive and vibrant.šŸ™

Lol at benefits system, they already have a welfare system, but I agree they could flesh this out and make it possible to apply for weekly welfare income for different things like being a single parent or having a low income, having a disability (I hope they bring this to the game eventually).

My question is, would you prefer they add the UK inspired objects now or add this with a UK inspired city? I think it would hit so much more if they made a London inspired city.

Come to think of it, that would be REALLY fricken cool, and have zois drive on the opposite side of the street and everything. I would definitely love to do a university style play through in London, get a high level degree, meet my girlfriend/boyfriend there, graduate, move abroad, and start a family with the kids being a different nationality to the parents.

The possibilities are endless!

Business-Related Detailed Improvements

  • When initially hiring employees, posting a job should allow unfamiliar NPCs to voluntarily apply.
    The current system of only allowing hiring to "acquaintances" is truly questionable. This means that anyone without an acquaintance can't initially hire employees. This is unnatural and unacceptable.
    The most natural approach would be for zois, each with their own unique skills, to apply for interviews at the player's business.
    This would give players more options to directly select the right employees for their business.

  • It makes no sense to say that owning a business prevents travel. It's impossible to tell a story about a player running a business and traveling, and this is something that absolutely needs to be fixed.

  • Allow businesses to hire at least 10 employees when they're finally upgraded. For example, running a large restaurant will require multiple employees, such as cooks, cashiers, and servers.
    The current number of available employees is too small. As the business grows, the number of customers will increase, leading to a need for more employees.

  • Customers often buy too quickly, leaving shelves unfilled. Demand is outpacing supply.
    Customers should be shown animations that encourage them to slowly 'browse' and decide what to buy before purchasing. This gives operators more time to stock their shelves.
    Especially in lesser-known, early-stage stores, customers are more likely to hesitate about whether to buy something rather than readily buy it.
    Furthermore, if you offer recommendations or provide friendly service, they'll buy.

Kjun, I didn't see this presentation before but the Canvastown concepts look so cool. Could we also bring a city expansion with stadiums to Bliss Bay too for concerts, sports games like basketball, american football etc?

Second could be a Hollywood town with backlots, acting sets, dance studios, music studios, award show venues, a luxury spa, 5 star restaurants etc.

Lastly a canvas town for a gated luxury community with a golf course and pools? Exclusive expensive luxury home could be the main focus here and be closed off without a residency pass unless you know the zoi if you're just visiting.

I feel these would fit so well as sub sections of the city of Blissbay.

please rework ghosts and the afterlife they are kinda lame at the moment i also dont see the point on having the same missions for all ghosts it will get very stale have things such as rare events in which if a family member dies and they really hated a living zoi they stay and haunt the house causing chaos and you need to work out a way to get the ghost to move on ect and perhaps if u want a ghost to stay playble which would be a rare occurance make it somthing we really have to work for as a challange also it was said there was going to be some kind of paranormal slider but this has never manifested

i agree that the ghostplay needs reworking. I like the missions but they are the same everytime, so i dont want to play more than once. I also think the soul echo skill currently doesnt feel as though it achieves anything. Three days is a long time to play as a ghost when there is nothing to achieve, especially if you’re hapoy with their current karma level. I think yhe ghost gameplay needs more to make it motivating or purposeful.

I actually like the concept behind the ghost gameplay, and the fact that it’s a temporary state before moving on to the afterlife / reincarnation. I wouldn’t want them to stick around and hang out with living Zois like in some of the later Sims games. However, there definitely needs to be more variety and randomness in the ghost missions, and more ways to interact with the living world. I know the devs are planning a karma update at some point so hopefully they’ll expand ghost play at the same time.

Can you please add fish food to the pocket marketplace so we can feed our fishes in the fish tank pls?

For the caz in life mode it would be perfect to not only pair it up with the clothing store but also the barber and hair salon. For the hair salon you can either have you (or if ur working there an NPC) to sit down at the chair the caz pops up and you choose the hair you want. Afterwards a little animation plays out with blow-dryers curlers etc or for guys maybe clippers or whatever.

Oh and I would also love a hair wash station to be usable. For the NPCs in the hair salon there be a pop-up for what the NPC wants as their hair and you as the worker has to pick the right hair for the NPC. (If more presets for colors are added to hairs it could also be the job to choose not only the right hairstyle but right color as well)

Group Activity Improvements

Are improvements being made to the animations for group activities like billiards, bowling, and chess?

It's also a shame that these animations don't loop for long and end quickly.
Furthermore, since the groups just enjoy the activity in silence, the animations become boring and don't feel very alive.
When engaging in group activities, "conversation" should always be automatic.
We should be able to show the diverse enjoyment of the activity by talking, laughing, clapping, sometimes cheating, getting angry, and showing various behaviors.
When will animations showing the actual movement of chess pieces be added?

I would like to mention two ideas related to the game:

First: You've mentioned that script modding is going to use lua scripts, but would it be possible to allow us to use unreals blueprint scripting as well? I've worked with unreal blueprints before and I think it could be nice to have the option to choose between the two.

Lastly: I know the topic of character height for our zoi's have been mentioned before. I've previously read that a gradual slider may be difficult to implement, but I've been thinking; the game already has two heights for each age group. One for masculine characters and one for feminine characters. Would it be possible to let us select one of these two heights independently of their body type in the character creation? That way we could make taller women and shorter men if we want. I imagine it would be the second best way of implementing height options besides having a slider, and having this option would add more variety to the zois in our worlds!

My thoughts on personality. I think personality should consist of:

  • Traits
  • Characteristics
  • Likes/dislikes: including lifestyles and hobbies
  • Strengths/weaknesses: affecting skill development

I would avoid having lifestyles/hobbies included in the characteristics as this overlaps with likes/dislikes and strengths/weaknesses. I also think that strengths/weaknesses should not be accessible when creating a new zoi, to keep the CAZ process simple and to provide rewards for generational players.

When playing a zoi from birth:

  • Personality should develop over time. Rather than be assigned randomly, personality should be determined by experiences, actions and choices in gameplay throughout the life stages.

  • Traits should be subject to change through the adolescent and teenage stages (based on recent events in the Zois life) to reflect a phase of change and self-discovery. Traits should be permanently assigned at the start of young adulthood.

For example

  • you start with creating a young adult who likes gardening and an outdoor lifestyle but dislikes technology
  • She has a son who she teaches to garden - he develops a ā€˜green thumb’ (strength in gardening) but having no computers in the house he develops a weakness with technology.
  • The son is randomly assigned the pacificist trait early in life but as a teenager he starts to struggle in school, especially with technology based tasks. He becomes frustrated and starts to act out. The ā€˜pacifist’ trait changes to ā€˜troublemaker’ until he falls in love with a girl in his class who gives him greater confidence to embrace his strengths and he becomes an ā€˜individualist’.

I'm uploading these videos in hopes that someday inzoi will show even more vibrant group activities than they are now.
The Sims 2 group activity animations are some of the most inspiring in the entire series.

  • They vividly portray group activities by talking, laughing, clapping, and watching. Even those not participating in the game watch from the sidelines.

Even when bowling, people sit and watch until their turn comes and cheer.

  • During group activities, conversation should always occur automatically (even without the player directly initiating the conversation).

"Fun" and "Relationship" should increase simultaneously, and the activity should continue until the player explicitly cancels it.

  • Comparing Sims 3 and 4 will show you why Sims 2 has some of the best animations of all time, even though it's a 20-year-old game.
    Even during mealtime conversations, The Sims 2 maintains its fork-holding posture, looking at each other's faces, and conversing with natural, smooth motions.

I hope inzoi will come out with even more upgraded animations!

Instead of abstract and unclear traits, some suggested introducing more structured categories (lifestyle, sociability, intelligence, preferences, morality, etc.), and allowing players to select more traits overall.

But it’s also important to properly structure and do it in a way that makes these traits specific and realistic rather than figurative – like physical (Wimp/Clumsy/Nimble, Sickly/Immune, Slowpoke/Jogger, Pretty/Ugly), mental (Depressed(Melancholic)/Cheerful(Sanguine), Steadfast/Neurotic, Empath/Psychopath, Kind-hearted/Malicious, Dreamer/Emotionally Needy), intellectual/skills (Bookworm, Genius, Gut Feeling, Great Memory, Fast Learner, Workaholic), social (Introvert/Extrovert, Lively, Jealous, Volunteer, Entertainer), quirks (Childish, Neat Freak/Slacker, Shameless, Greedy).

Lastly I would love if more work would be done on set the mood animations, (ik there was an animation for before they get in the bed in one of the Friday weekly updates but I'm talking Abt the main ine)

Right now if there's a set the mood the zois lay still with no movement and the bright heart that takes up most of the screen.

I think a simple animation of the zois going under the covers and adding movement to covers as if their rolling around may look better, and then adding small hearts that come out rather than the one huge one.šŸ’™

Where you go in mix different ingredients together to make new recipes our zois can learn. That will be added to the game.

This doesnt negate being able to create recipes on whim in live mode but its a way to add what we want to the game all at once.

  • Choose ingredients needed up to 5
  • Title recipe
  • Choose a photo for the created food
  • Set skill level needed to make it

Just because ingredients are part of the recipe doesnt meant you cant use substitutes for them. For example, if a zoi wants to make a chocolate cake but they dont have chocolate, our zois could swap the ingredient for vanilla as a substitute instead. Same if you have a cake but want to make it 'vegan' you would another ingredients to substitute eggs, whatever that would be, instead of eggs. But There'd be a tag maybe a chevron beside the name, once its made. Indicating substitutes were used in the ingredients.

Please make ghosts feel unique when the ghost haunt the living. I’m not sure if Kjun is familiar with the game Phasmophobia, but in that game, each ghost type behaves differently during a hunt, with distinct patterns and traits that make every encounter feel unique. Maybe how to pacify different ghost, each way to do it should be different depending on the ghost type and cause of death.

The problem is the personalities need to be shown through the simple things they do... You have a zoi with a "malicious" trait but they all have the same exact idle animations in rotation (looking around, sitting the same, etc). By giving all Zois the exact same default animations is what makes them feel like "mannequins".
You could even take a social interaction thats available for all zoi's and just tweak it to fit each personality: a "Serious" zoi does social interactions more with their arms crossed, less smiling, a concentrated stare, and their laugh is more of a brief chuckle.
You keep adding these tiny distinctions across each personality over time and zoi's will immediately appear to have more personality... You could get creative with the way a specific trait would do a certain thing or how they would react to something... And then you add different walkstyles and voice tones on top of that and now you completely get rid of that sterile feeling. Sims 4 didnt quite make this distinction b/w personalities and just by unlocking more interactions in the social menu bc of their personality isn't enough... at the end of the day they're all the same character: eating the same, watch tv the same, and does everything the same, only distinguishable by moods...

Completely agree! The best way I can explain it is that anime-style games give characters their own distinct walking styles, different voices, and different animation mannerisms, which makes each character feel truly unique. InZOI has traits, but they function more like moods and don’t really change a character’s idle animations or overall behavior in a distinctive way. What do I want? If I want to make a shy zoi, I want the zoi to have a shy idle animation and not the default animation.

Ofc I’m not arguing with that, but I’m also not going to build any illusions about it – pulling animation subsets for a large number of traits is massive time sink over a year or two of development (if everyone is willing to wait). After all, most actions are sequences for the animation player, and I can only imagine how many animation branches they’d need for every type and age. That’s why, for now, I’m mostly asking for clearly defined perks that let a character’s personality grow with age and experience, more like an RPG (at least the GUI part). And over time, they can add more visuals. I’m just afraid they’ll promise a lot, get carried away with ideas, and then we end up disappointed.

If you want a ā€œ3D personalityā€, that’s the way to do it.

Regards to the mini map. Add proper navigation:
In some games that include a mini-map, players can usually pin a destination, which then creates a highlighted route guiding the players to the place they pinned—similar to how a GPS provides turn-by-turn directions while driving. I hope InZOI’s upcoming mini map can do this.

In-Game Tutorial Instead of a Reading Summary
I believe that if InZOI adds tutorials for beginners in the future, they should be designed as interactive, quest-style experiences rather than simple written summaries.
The tutorial could guide players step-by-step by highlighting important locations, menus, or items while explaining the game’s features. For example, when watching new players try InZOI, many seem confused about how to find the phone, how to get a job, how to quit a job, or how to access certain menus and features.
A guided system that visually highlights the correct buttons, icons, or areas—similar to how the inventory highlights items when your Zoi places something inside—would make learning the game much more intuitive. This approach allows players to learn by doing instead of reading, creating a smoother and more engaging onboarding experience.
The tutorial should also be fully skippable for players who prefer to explore the game on their own.

Lastly, InZOI could benefit from including a ā€œHintā€ or ā€œHelpā€ button for task missions. Some new players struggle to figure out where to complete specific tasks, for example ghostplay task or job task. A hint/help system that highlights the relevant object and location in the task would reduce frustration while still allowing players to progress at their own pace.

I love the visuals of this game and I understand that many others do too. And the animations contribute to the overall visual experience.

But I also love the gameplay elements and I would like for inZOI become a game that can be played over and over. Having personalities that are shaped through experiences and having personalities impact zoi behaviour and relationship development makes the game more dynamic and engaging and changes the way the game is experienced with each play through.

Yup but even the tiniest idle distinctions between personalities would do the trick... it can't be that hard they were able to give us a plethora of different sitting animations and lots of other animations with each update... now they just need to link these to be preferred by specific traits instead of every single zoi being able to do it. Tiny tweaks like this would definitely make it less sterile and each personality would actually have their preferred way of sitting, eating, talking, behaving... they already plan on adding different walkstyles and voice variations so it could work hand in hand together really well

To build on the idea we’ve been discussing and the characteristics that others have mentioned… below are some ideas of how personalities could impact behaviour and relationships.

  • Serious: less likely to make jokes. Responds less positively to jokes than other Zois. Develops friendship/romantic relationships with humourous/childish Zois slower than most.
  • Humourous: more likely to make jokes. Jokes are more likely to be accepted successfully by other Zois. Occasionally makes jokes at inappropriate times.
  • Empath: gains a moodlet that matches the emotional state of the zoi they are interacting with. Able to improve emotional state of other Zois with interactions like ā€˜comfort’ or ā€˜calm down’. Develops friendship relationships faster than most.
  • Slacker (to expand on current characteristic): more likely to engage in unrelated tasks during work hours. Develops work relationships slower.
  • Driven: more likely to feel ā€˜focused’. Longer time (longer animations) spent on tasks that develop skills. Develops work relationships faster.
  • Dreamer: excels at creative tasks. Easily distracted. Spends less time (shorter animations) on tasks that do not fill fun gauge.

Yes, I agree – when some actions/animations are tied to traits and emotions, and autonomy tries to pick from those depending on what the trait or emotion allows, that’s great. It helps unclutter the main PIE‑menu, and then it’d be great to show which trait makes this action/animation available and also the reason why autonomy picked that action, so the player won’t feel a loss of control.

Another thing is not to overact. InZOI team sometimes forgets that the Sims is stylized, while they’re pushing toward hyperrealism, and all the animations should be mocapped by professional actors performing as if they were in a (drama) series, not in the Sims. Overacted motion is easy to spot and creates that uncanny valley effect.

Is there a "puberty" for teenagers in games?
It would be good to clearly define the period of puberty, setting a specific start and end date.
As puberty approaches, teenagers become more rebellious, sensitive, and unexplainedly depressed. They desire to be alone, and they dislike parental interference.
Even when parents attempt to communicate, they are more likely to react sensitively or negatively.
If the relationship with their parents is particularly strained, they may become delinquent. They may even run away from home.
They may even be arrested by the police for associating with other delinquents.
If a child is severely delinquent, they may receive parental counseling at school.
Consistent counseling can help improve their behavior, but the most important factor in improving a child's problems is their relationship with their parents.
If parents are uninterested in their child, they will fall further into a negative path.
However, a strong relationship with their parents is essential for a child to end their wanderings and overcome puberty.
I hope that how Zoi spends his "puberty" will have a positive or negative impact on his personality as he grows into adulthood.
I hope the developers delve deeper into these aspects.

I agree! The default autonomous animations need to match their personality. Vain or materialistic zois should be the only ones that whip out a mirror to check themselves out constantly. Neat zois should be the only one that randomly whip out a broom and start sweeping the street or random establishments. Making all zois do these weird actions autonomously makes no sense. Those should definitely be tied to personality traits. Also they need to tone down the frequency at which they occur

Yeah, now it’s clear. I really like the idea of focusing on trait‑specific actions that include both animations and modifiers (like cleaning plays animation, increases a skill, changes the environment, and so on). That way, a combination of traits creates a completely unique personality, and if you swap even one or two traits, that Zoi already behaves differently.

For example, they might be a neat freak but also lazy/slothful, so they’d always prefer lying on the sofa or doing nothing instead of cleaning, feel uncomfortable about the mess, and it’d be easier to satisfy them by ordering a cleaning service. But at the same time, they could be a workaholic, and then they’d constantly clean autonomously (balanced with whatever other traits they have).
Or they could be messy but workaholic – super productive in some areas, yet never cleaning up after themselves.

This will engage the player and encourage them to combine traits, not only to raise a child, but also to track how those choices shape the child’s overall perception of their childhood. That, in turn, creates a certain background that can make some traits unavailable or annoying in adulthood, make experiences more conscious, strengthen traits, unlock new slots, and compensate for the weaknesses of one trait with others.

I would love to see a deeper expansion of the traditional Korean area in Dowon.

The Hanok architecture and temple district are incredibly beautiful and atmospheric. However, the surrounding modern high-rise buildings somewhat break the immersion. I would love the option to either remove or reduce the modern apartment buildings in that specific corner of the city, so the traditional area could feel more cohesive and authentic.

It would be amazing if the area to the right of the current temple district could be opened for construction, allowing players to build a full neighborhood of Hanok homes. Being able to create multiple traditional houses and have several neighbors living there would make the space feel alive and culturally consistent.

The curved roofs, wooden textures, and architectural details create such a unique mood. Expanding this district and minimizing modern visual distractions in that zone would significantly enhance immersion and atmosphere.

As a player from Slovakia who deeply appreciates Korean culture and aesthetics, I find this part of the city especially inspiring. I would love to see it developed further into a complete traditional quarter.

I'm so happy about the improvements to babies in the game.

Hopefully we'll be getting breastfeeding someday as an alternative to feeding newborns.

How about when a toddler starts to develop teeth they'll drink less from the bottle and start eating in a high chair. As a toddler they could start out needing help eating then start using their hands then eventually use spoons.

On the subject of baby food, our Zois should have the option to make their own baby food or buy it.

Oh, and one more thing. It's a small thing, but having a bib spawn on the baby when their on the high chair would be so adorable.

Someday, when the club system and synchronized group movements are added, I want to create a biker club with a clubhouse somewhere in an industrial district, with a gas station, garage, where they can maintain, repair, and customize their bikes, chill at the bar with concoctions, greet and speak in a pretty rough way, shred the strings playing heavy metal, and then ride out onto the highway into the sunset. It would be awesome if you could decorate your store with specific concepts like formal, casual, sporty, girly, or punk etc.
Just by looking at the store's interior, you could tell what kind of clothes they sell.

Yes! This. We need directions to locations with a line that shows us the way on the minimap. One of the reasons it's hard for me to use the car is because I have no idea how to get to some of the locations

New Addition to Build Mode: Creating Apartment Buildings

  • We would have doors that would allow us to assign different tenant households to them and assign the price of the rent by clicking the door. So some apartments would and can be higher or lower depending on the number value we set.
  • How often rent is due monthly/daily/ weekly
  • Hire employees to keep the grounds and do repair maintenance
  • Set target audience for different buildings based on age and income level poor/middle class/ wealthy
  • Set if pets are allowed
  • Include parking spaces or not

Also could this be possible when we're able to make our own apartments? Having fire escapes. šŸ˜

Can’t tell you guys how much I miss the older versions of InZOI for the old traits…
They need to :

  • Split Troublemaker and Entertainer traits
  • Split Rulebreaker and Cooperator
  • Split Recluse and Volunteer
  • Bring back Scholar, Mediator and Social Activist

You can have the negatives, I am not asking to delete them, but to bring back the good ones.
So we’d get to keep the negative traits and I have a few friends playing the game that love them, so perfect for them.
But we’d get the 6 ones that were removed/turned into those negative traits back as well.

It would be a ā€Win-Winā€ scenario for everyone…

I know this might not be the right channel because I was confused where to put this. But I have a suggestion for canvas town and also the city build mode : Canvastown: .Town size/temple :It's should have different templates with town size and lot size, this effective since people have different thoughts on what the size of the town should be, so it's more fair to people who want both small and maybe a slightly bigger town, everyone wins and goes home happy. Interlinked town: it would be really nice if we can interlink our Canvastown to create one big city with variety and diversity, it boosts gameplay and make more people to stay, and plus with the new transportation updates like subways,buses and UI map this would be the perfect fit. World/city build bottom:they should be a button or icon that makes this more accessible and used friendly, Canvastown shouldn't be in block updates before u can place multiple canvas town,it should be like templates in build mode like I mentioned earlier, so it can be like a pick and place or, u can copy the Canvastown u placed and place it in another lot again, it reduces wait time for updates and boost engagement.

I understand that many players are excited about cheats and modding, and I respect that. I am not against these features being added. šŸ™‚

However, I would like to share another perspective. For some of us, the charm of the game lies in the vanilla experience. There is something special about playing the game exactly as the developers envisioned it – with the original atmosphere, balance, and emotional pacing.

Personally, I feel a greater sense of quality and stability in the base, unmodified version of the game. The vanilla experience feels more cohesive, thoughtfully designed, and emotionally stronger.

Cheats and mods can be great for experimentation and sandbox-style freedom, but for many of us, the core experience is the most important.

I simply hope that while working on cheats and mod support, the team will continue to prioritize improving the base game and strengthening its original systems. The vanilla experience is also very important to many players.šŸ™šŸ»

I also noticed they showed us apartment buildings they’ve been rebuilding using BB Mode elements (it should be in the first screenshot). I understand this isn't on the current roadmap, but it would be great to have at least a few apartments per building with rentals in future iterations and at least the ability to edit them with cheat code. Ideally, we’d have lots with simultaneous ownership and renting, as we've seen example where implementing multi-lots too late completely broke the game's stability.

I think the commercial lots could use some adjustments. Right now, it feels like I have to use the self-service kiosks for everything—ordering and picking up both food and drinks. It makes the waiters feel like they're just for show. I’d love to see them actually bring the food to my table, and it would be great if I could order directly from them as well.

Right but build mode hasn't been much of a priority honestly :/ it's the last to be worked on but I guess it takes time to implement and ensure it's not buggy? I wish we were getting more intergration sooner especially apartments and tenants system. Like the stairs in this latest update I assumed we were getting spiral staircase lol or at least more handrail designs, but it was another wooden staircase...

Multi-lot should've been on the roadmap this yr I feel because it could cause problems later trying to add it in too late. There's so much that needs to go behind it to make 2-3 work at the same time. I think they need a designated team for build mode and buy mode, it's a really important feature that still needs a lot of work done to it.

But as you mentioned with the wording of buying buildings there's options to but the property and building, just the building, and something else. At first, I thought this was hinting towards a real estate property system- being able to become landlords or a real estate tycoon. It still could but with the roadmap I'm like hm maybe not yet?

Also in I think it's Dowon there's a space in town to put a bakery business, it's 3 story level building, there's stairs blocked off with a sign saying "space for rent call xyz" that I feel should definitely be able to be rented out for 2 more businesses or at least an apartment.

…However, many pointed out that using kiosks for automated purchases reduces immersion. Since this feedback keeps coming in, we will begin improving this system in December. For now, we may temporarily keep both methods to help organize our data.
I’m also curious—kiosks are very common in Korean stores these days, but what about other countries? ^^;
There were also requests for realistic shopping: using baskets or carts, placing items into them, and checking out at the register. People also suggested food delivery, different types of clothing stores, grocery stores, and more.

It's these tiny little details I love. Our Zois should also be able to vacuum the sofas using a hand vacuum. Other things such as the fridge, dishwasher and walls should get visibly dirty as well.

Right now child Zois can color on some dressers but the scribbles disappear. They should stay on the dresser longer and need to be cleaned and the child should get into trouble. Also, our parent Zois should be able to command that their children do some cleaning and the children either comply or refuse.

Oh, I also wanted to add something about the mental (nervous) breakdown itself, when I was writing about traits like Steadfast, Nervous, and Neurotic. As far as I remember, the first truly good and the best iteration was in TS2, but I also drew from various breakdowns in RimWorld, which could help guide and which you rarely see in life sims (mostly only in mods), such as:
mild: hide in room, tantrum in room, sad wandering
more severe: tantrum (random), food / *** binge, psychotic wandering (daze)
dangerous: chaos (fire?)-starting spree, insulting spree, targeted tantrum, rage
game-changing: jailbreaker (prison break), giving up and leaving (run wild)

Yes, but in full autonomy we definitely need more consistent and logical personality/mood expressions. That’s why we need very clearly defined traits, mood scales instead of vague uncontrollable impulses, and (as I wrote before) a display of the specific reasons behind each autonomous action. As a player, I want to understand logically why something is happening, what I’m doing wrong, and what needs to be adjusted.

Because aside from the pointless ā€œwander aroundā€ and ā€œcheck appearanceā€, Zoi also spontaneously spend money on donations, endless cooking or ordering food, being rude, venting anger, and feels as if the game either wants me to disable autonomy and play the dollhouse, or it’s punishing me for something without explaining what for.

"I have a feeling that by the end of 2026, Inzoi may not immediately become dazzlingly impressive, but based on the 2026 roadmap, it will definitely be much more substantial. To my shame, I’ve barely ever logged into the game and have mostly just been keeping up with the updates—and I believe there are quite a few people like me.

There are too many reasons for this. For one, I feel the content isn’t substantial enough yet, and I don’t want to experience an incomplete game. I prefer to wait until the game is more polished before immersing myself in its world for the long term. Another reason is that the game is still in its Early Access phase, which might require frequent creation of new saves. I dislike starting new saves because I grow attached to the characters in the game—creating a new save feels like killing them off.

So far, my Zois still feel a bit too 'robotic.' They seem obsessed with repetitive tasks like checking themselves in the mirror or cleaning. I really wish they had more autonomy—like being able to fall in love, get married, have children, use entertainment facilities, and level up their skills on their own. It’s hard to micromanage everyone once you have a large population. I’d love to see them live their own lives more!

@pure prawn yea i never understood the mirror thing. I think that'll work better if they made zois to where they had a vain trait. I can see it then. I wish my family zois would talk to each other more. They're in the same household but barely communicate with each other unless i force it. They may talk only a little bit on their own but majority of the time they're just walking pass each other cleaning or doing their own thing. They should be able to engage with one another as a family.

I feel the current gameplay is a bit too easy and could use more challenge. Here are a few specific points:

Remove the "Safety Net": When trying a "Zero Funds Challenge," the game automatically grants a 1,000-unit subsidy. This breaks the immersion and ruins the challenge for hardcore players. There should be an option to disable this "automatic welfare."

Rebalance Skill Progression: Skill leveling is currently too fast. You can master a skill with very little effort, which feels unrewarding. I hope to see a steeper progression curve to make leveling up feel like a real achievement.

Enhanced Visual Feedback for Food: I’d love to see different textures for different food qualities. For example, low-quality or failed dishes should actually look "burnt" or unappealing, rather than using the same high-quality assets.

Agreed. I'm not necessarily asking for a full-on 'story mode', but there needs to be consequences for failing at work, school etc. Poor school performance could lead to lower earnings and possibly being shut out of certain jobs, while failing to complete work tasks could lead to salary cuts, demotion and disciplinary action. Ambitions should play a bigger part in everyday life (through Urges etc.) and going too long with no progress could lead to negative emotions and lower the Recognition stat.

In fact I think Urges should be more closely tied to personality and goals in general. I keep getting random stuff which doesn't really fit my Zoi's personality, or runs counter to it. That's OK once in a while, but I'd rather see them pointed in a specific direction based on the character I created.

Thank you as well for your encouraging comments about features like the frying pan ā€œslapā€ interaction, expanding script modding staff, and improvements to Canvas search. We will make sure to update these next month.

QoL & Immersion Improvements

There were many requests to improve convenience and immersion.
Some asked for deliveries to workplaces as well as homes, less fatigue when cooking/selling at businesses, and having purchased items go directly into inventory. Great suggestions.

For funerals, you proposed detailed improvements: name input for memorial tablets, black-ribbon portrait frames for Korean-style funerals, comforting interactions for grieving family members, and proper visitor flow (greeting → waiting → incense/flowers/bow) with queue/turn-taking logic.

There were also repeated requests to adjust camera WASD speed and fix overly fast zoom-out movement through user options. We’ll discuss this tomorrow and try to update it as quickly as possible.

We are currently preparing three builds:
-Engine stabilization build (late February)
-Content update (late March)
-May update

Because of this, small mistakes can happen. Please understand. I’ll also immediately check the question about the bed shown in the video that may not have been included in the update.

Main Menu & Family Management

There was a suggestion to separate ā€œCreate New Familyā€ and ā€œCreate Worldā€ in the New Game menu, remove forced family creation when making a new world, and introduce a Family Library to reduce the fatigue of restarting after major updates.

A ā€œFamilies in This Worldā€ management tab was also suggested.
We are currently developing a feature that allows creating ZOIs without tying them to a home. Since all ZOIs are currently linked to houses, we need internal discussion before confirming if this separation is possible. Tomorrow will be busy for me. šŸ™‚

Life Stages & Babies

While the baby/toddler update was praised, many want more natural life-stage progression—gradual tooth growth, crawling/walking/toilet training stages, and clearer differences between babies, toddlers, children, teens, and elders in both appearance and function.

There were also many requests to create babies/toddlers directly in CAZ with outfit, hair, and pose options. We’ll continue improving this step by step. The team member in charge is very passionate about this feature.

Fundamentals First

Many emphasized that core QoL and bug fixes should come first:
auto-lighting, outfit auto-change bugs, short looping animations requiring constant clicking, and unrealistic behaviors like always sitting before starting a conversation.

Fortunately, we are already addressing most of these, and some have been improved internally. We will update them next month.

Modding & Cheat UX psycat_cahaya

There’s strong excitement about script modding, with some asking for Unreal Blueprint support alongside Lua.

For cheats, many prefer UI-based buttons (click need to fill, click money to edit amount, etc.) rather than typed commands. Requests also included editing name/age/pregnancy status and resolving NPC ID conflicts.

We are preparing a minimal cheat UI first, then expanding cheat features gradually—while making sure vanilla gameplay quality is not harmed.

CAZ, Clothing & Commerce

Issues mentioned include preset saving errors, clipping bugs, per-outfit hairstyle settings, winter clothes indoors, and other rule inconsistencies.

There were also suggestions to connect the CAZ fitting UI to boutique-style purchasing with carts, total payments, and brand stores. We’ll review these internally and improve related UI accessibility.

Business & World Systems

Suggestions included improving restaurant flow (seating → order → serve → pay), designing a waiter career with multitasking, tips, and rush-hour mechanics, implementing hiring systems (job posting → interview), adjusting commercial AI pacing, adding mixed-use lots (business + home), and rental systems (tenants per door, rent, property managers).

Some of these will be partially reflected in upcoming business updates.

You also asked for minimaps, GPS navigation, and clearer map icons. Good news—we are finally developing a minimap. Thank you for waiting.

Presentation & Ghost System šŸ‘»

Requests included stronger autonomous swimming, better group activity loops, and varied sleeping poses (which we are currently discussing internally).

For showers, alternatives like foam/blur instead of towels were suggested—we are already working on this.
For dialogue, you requested more voice variation (2–3 random lines per option).

Ghost gameplay feedback pointed out repetition issues, suggesting expanded influence, differentiated ghost types, and stronger randomness.

Bugs, Skills & World Identity

You noted that skills progress too quickly and proposed tiered levels, promotion challenges, focus resources, cooldowns, decay, childhood/personality/genetic effects, certifications, and instrument specialization.

You also shared real bug cases, including crashes caused by leftover mod files and various behavior glitches. Thank you for these detailed reports.

There were strong opinions that Bliss Bay, Dowon, and Cahaya should differ not just visually but in NPC behavior, romance expression, social norms, and traditions.

Requests also included restoring removed traits, expanding mental breakdown stages, strengthening relationship decay systems, adding arranged marriage drama systems, and increasing realism (like door-opening animations).

I was very happy with all the implementations that are coming to the game! Especially the one that will allow me to start a game without necessarily having to create a family. Great change!! Earlier today I shared a topic on the forum, suggesting an immersive Opportunities system that can really make inZOI an even better and more rewarding game to play!

As a life simulation, inZOI still has a lot of room to become an even better game with emergent stories and narratives that arise through situations.   • a custom radio so we can play our own music when the zoi is driving.

  • Parents having the option to drive kids to school or pick them up from school.

  • Zoi's vehicle getting stolen if not locked or parked properly.

I would also love to see more available apartments lots so my zoi's can have active neighbors .

This has likely been discussed before BUT I would love to see more immersive interactions with Zoi's friends and family like parents and children regardless of age being able to show affection to eachother, like hug one another kiss their forehead etc play games together more activities together. The ability to hold hands have it similar to that bike update where two people can ride a bike, have it where one zoi can take another's hand and you can walk with that other zoi where ever you want to go etc.

I really hope all the changes you mentioned make it into the game! They would be really helpful.
The ones I care about most are:

  • the tab where you can save families. Many of us become attached to our families and their history, so being able to save them is really important, along with being able to start a New Save with families already present in the tab.
  • more lots in the city and the ability to move to different cities while maintaining relationships.
  • ending unwanted pregnancies and allowing families with small children to move. **Bunk beds **for Zoi who want very large families would also be very helpful.

I agree. That's why I've been suggesting developing a system like "worry" or "fear."

"Ambition" and "expectation" represent the dreams zoi wants to achieve, but a "worry" or "fear" system represents the opposite of what zoi wants to achieve.
Zoi moves forward toward its goals, but sometimes faces challenges. It experiences both positive and negative experiences, and these experiences need to be able to create a story.
For example, when zoi fails an exam, gets a job, or is rejected in a confession, the worries become reality.
If you earn points through "anticipation," you must also experience losing points. That's the "worry" system.

If zoi can have "ambition" or "expectations," we need to show that it can also feel negative emotions like "worry" or "fear." This will increase the immersion of life simulations.

I completely agree with the idea of ā€œconditional events based on world state + Zoi state.ā€ The examples you gave of non-contextual events are exactly the kind of things that break immersion during gameplay (for example, a neighbor complaining about loud music when I never played any, or a child showing up looking for a friend when I don’t even have children).

When events like that pop up without context, I try to fill in the gaps with my imagination, but most of the time it still disrupts the natural flow of the game.

I recently started playing The Sims 3, and I’ve been losing track of time while playing. The world genuinely feels alive. The Lifetime Wish, my Sim’s traits, and even the Sims they build relationships with are all taken into account when new wishes or opportunities appear. Those smaller goals constantly emerge and naturally guide you toward the bigger lifetime goal, which feels incredibly organic.

That said, figuring out how to implement truly contextual event pop-ups in inZOI—ones that properly consider a Zoi’s personality, skills, career, relationships, and the overall state of the world—will likely be a significant challenge. It will require careful research and thoughtful system design.

If this issue can be resolved, I truly believe inZOI could become more than just a simulation game—it could feel like a genuinely living world.

I bought the cheapest property and added a bed just to get rid of the pop up saying I needed a bed at home. For reference Im in the Dowon region

For funerals I would also like to suggest new urges based off the relationship with the passed zoi. So they could have the urge to go and update them about what’s been going on in their life or reminisce about memories. And if eventually flowers placed on graves could wilt over time so our zoi could go and replace them that would be a neat touch.

For babies I’d love to have pacifiers, teething rings for when their teeth do start to come in and baby rattles.

Like a few other mentioned I’d also like to see a functional martial arts class that we could go to, I think it would be cool to have fencing and gymnastics too and expand upon the yoga poses.

Hi Kjun, could you add gymnastics and boxing classes with their own skills and zois can enter competitions. I'm saying this because for boxing I imagined that a zoi just knocks another zoi clean out and for gymnastics zois can do a backflip anywhere if their gymnastics skills are high enough

A very welcome post that addressed many of the most important topics.

If all these points are implemented/improved soon, I would be very happy. Optimizations and expansions of the core elements, more gameplay depth. I am particularly pleased about the focus on life stages, focus on better daily needs (alternatives for towels while showering/bathing, sleeping positions) and the skill- and personality system.

Yes! I love all of this. If possible, please consider providing C++ modding support alongside Lua, with public APIs, exposed systems, and extension hooks that can also be accessed through Blueprints. Many of us in the community work with C++ and Blueprint and would love the ability to start building deeper framework-level mods earlier. Enjoy your holiday, and thank you for all the hard work. A big thing that needs to be worked on is Zoi individuality and integrating their traits more with autonomous behavior. The disconnect b/w the things they do and their actual personality is way too huge so here are some examples:

  • Different body languages during social interaction based on personality: arms crossed and focused expression for a serious personality/ more engaged expression with hand motions for outgoing personalities/ looking around like they rather be somewhere else for introvert personality, ....and other quirks like this makes a big differences to show the personality in a subtle way.
  • Get rid of all of the random things Zois do that have nothing to do with their personality or traits like checking mirrors, sweeping, mopping, showering or washing their hands too much
    Instead, replace them with things that actually align with them:
  • Show their personalities through everyday mundane activities
  • Having a preferred sitting position: criss cross on the floor/ cross one leg over the other/ wide leg spread/ leaning against the couch while sitting on the floor.
  • Give them preferred default idle standing animations based on personality: folding their arms while looking around/ looking down at their phones most of the time/ cleans their glasses with their breath and shirt/ likes to take selfies randomly (not just in front of mirrors)
  • Scheduling their own meetup type events and inviting their closest friends.
  • A preference to accept or decline invites based on their personalities. Are they a party person? Do they dislike exercise? A workaholic would decline a party invitation the night before work. Things like this taken into account.
    Even whether they decide to sit on the floor, the couch, or the bed while eating could be based on personality
    Overall just much more autonomous interaction and initiation in activities based on personalities to make the game feel more cohesive.

  • Toilet cleaning
  • Shower room cleaning
  • Bathroom sink cleaning, kitchen sink cleaning
  • Gas stove cleaning
  • Counter cleaning
  • Table wiping (This used to be there, but it's gone! Please bring it back!)
  • Dusting
  • Bed making
  • Laundry (I understand this is planned to be added, but when will it be?)

There aren't many cleaning tasks right now, so it's not very fun.

The recent updates on multitasking and animations are good, but we need to talk about the 'Smart Zoi' AI. For a world to feel truly 'alive' and for the 'Advanced AI' to make sense, players MUST have a free text input (keyboard) to type exactly what they want. Pre-set phrases like in The Sims destroy the immersion. If I’m a Manager or an Author, I need to write my own story and give specific orders, not just click a button. Without a free keyboard to communicate, the 'Smart Zoi' is just a gimmick. Please, give us the freedom to type our own 'Truth' in the March or May update.

That brings me to my next question a while ago the update was planned for April which is the last month of the first quarter but now the date is scheduled for March, does that mean we can expect what's on the roadmap stuff like the highschool, police career, and hair salons to be added next month? I completely agree. In addition to the family library, I would like an adjustment in CaZ, similar to Sims 2: when clicking on "create new family", I would like to first enter an empty room before the Zoi creation screen opens (in Sims 2 it was a canvas, see pictures below).

From here, you could create all household members and define their relationships and family tree. This would allow everyone to be visibly displayed side-by-side, enabling you to set poses and create entire group/family portraits. One day, you could upload the whole family to Canvas and optionally add pets. I love this overview when everyone stands together!

I’m not paying full price for a 'Next-Gen' game that still uses pre-set buttons from 20 years ago. Chromatic Aberration was removed (and that makes the graphics clearer) but the effect also makes the screenshot more cinematic and I hope it can be re-added as a screen filter similar to cartoon and other ones we have for gameplay and photo mode.

Hello, yesterday I wanted to stage a wedding on a beach in Cahaya, where the arch with the heart decorated with flowers is locateur. The couple prepared it together, and immediately afterward, a notification appeared saying "You are married" before the ceremony šŸ˜‚ ! The event did take place, but it was quite chaotic. There was no lectern, the officiant didn't perform, and everything was falling apart! The main thing is that the couple was very happy... But I think it would be good to review this. Furthermore, there are many bugs, especially with the interactions between parents and toddlers. The parents aren't always in the correct position to hold the baby, and sometimes after exiting build mode, the toddler disappears and only reappears after several minutes...

I assume you mean the upcoming feature called AI NPCs, which is supposed to let you talk to Zois using prompts, powered by an LLM (large language model, not SLM / SmartZoi) and TTS (text‑to‑speech). Hi Kjun. I would like to see Inzoi build on its "Relieve yourself in secret" option as well as the "secretly fart" option. These actions make inzoi really unique and offer a sense of humor in the game. It HAS NOT gotten old. We need more! Additionally, please imprve the crime system. It has been so much fun having an interactive crime to commit. I need more. And I need them to be intense. I spend hours breaking laws just to get my zoi to level 5 crime. I love committing crimes. I love punching people. I love stealing from ATM's. Make it more realistic and just know that you guys are on the right track!!

Kjun, when I look at the NPCs wandering around town, I see the default Zoi designs from the Zoi presets.
Please be aware that this can cause problems, as they may overlap with the player's chosen design.
I liked one of the default Zoi designs and was playing with it, but there was already a Zoi identical to mine wandering around.šŸ˜“

When traveling, I'd love to see hotels and lodgings that allow the entire family to stay together (or have the option to choose how many people can stay in a room).
And Accommodations should be diverse, ranging from bungalows nestled in nature to five-star hotels.

To create a more hotel-like atmosphere,
I'd like to see rooms reserved at the front desk,
a housekeeper cleaning the room,
and a feature that allows you to order room service over the phone.

These little features really enhance the immersion.

I would also love to see these features built on honestly lol. My zoi relieves themselves in the pool then holds their breath under water and has no reaction lol! At least have the water turn a different color lol. And crime could definitely use more work. I HATE that robbing stores has been limited to scheduled events.

I'd also love to see weapons, CUSTOM text messages and replies, pets, and more in depth play when robbing other people's homes

zois need to interact with each other more right now they would rather check themselves in the mirror clean and brush thier teeth they need to choose to interact with each other way more often and idle animations such as checking self in mirror or constanly being on thier phone is annoying and to much like sims 4

Suggestions for Meetings

  • When making appointments, please show an animation where Zoi taps the phone or makes a phone call to make an appointment.
    Skipping the motion when making an appointment by clicking on the calendar or sending a message breaks the immersion.

  • For example, if I receive a message from a friend saying, "Let's meet up at a club!", it's strangely always the same club we go to.
    There's also a new club business I created in the city, and it's strange that we never go there.

I built a new nightclub with a cool design and let another family run it. However, we've never set our meeting place there.
I think the system only recognizes one existing club.
In other words, we need to systematically categorize public spaces.
If we're planning to meet at a club, one of the clubs should be randomly selected. Always meeting at the same place is boring.

First, I want to thank you for the latest Update. The Canvas filters are incredibly useful, and the outfits with special animations are simply genius—I can’t wait to see what you and the modding community will come up with using this system! The new building items are also fantastic and really help give Dowon even more soul.

Regarding future development, I am very excited about the community’s suggestions. In particular, I love to see the increased interest in giving more FLAVOUR and personality to the CITIES beyond just visuals—through systems like unique festivals, interactions, and mechanics. While I understand this might not be as urgent as other 'Fundamentals First' topics, I believe this feedback is vital now while more cities are still in production. It allows for better planning regarding uniqueness and local culture (for example, accounting for a dedicated plaza or landmark for festivals?).

Furthermore, if inZoi ever plans to monetize new cities through DLC, ensuring each location has distinct features and life (besides the stunning visuals) will be essential to making them feel truly valuable to the players.

Additionally, I’m thrilled to see the OPPORTUNITIES/Missions system being suggested by more players, including Boring Bones! I truly believe this system is crucial—not just for the vanilla gameplay loop, but as a powerful tool for the modding community. This system has the ability to provide objectives, immersion and storytelling/lore to the player. When combined with your efforts regarding driving, it also has the potential to attract an even broader audience.

Kjun, I feel the need to prevent winter coats from being worn inside the house.
So I've been thinking of several solutions:

  • How about dividing everyday clothes into homewear and outdoor wear?

For example,
Everyday wear -> Homewear (summer, winter, regular) / Outdoor wear (summer, winter, regular)

How about dividing them into more detailed categories like this?

Homewear is literally only worn inside the house.
When you leave the house, you change into outdoor wear.

  • Or, you could limit the outerwear itself to only being worn outside the house.
    Once you enter a building, you naturally take off only the outerwear.

This is just an example I thought of. I saw other players' experiences where they said, 'Zoi changes into her winter coat as soon as she gets out of bed.'
