Hello everyone,

The inZOI team has returned from the year-end holidays and is happy to be back in development. At the moment, we are strengthening our core foundations under the Fundamentals First approach, while also preparing several new features in parallel.
We’d like to share with you the development progress we’ve made this week.

Weekly development updates have become a familiar routine for us. More importantly, we’re genuinely enjoying the process of selecting and organizing updates that we think you’ll appreciate. ^^;

As our hope that "this game will bring joy to others" continues to grow, we find ourselves feeling even more energized and excited.
This year as well, we hope to make inZOI an even better game—one where players can project their own lives, laugh, and sometimes find comfort. This is the core goal of the inZOI team.
And to achieve that goal, we will always strive to be developers who stand right beside our players.

Dear @storm vortex ,

Previously, you mentioned that the game would eventually include the ability to swim underwater using WASD controls, but this feature wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the 2026 roadmap.

Many players are really looking forward to this. I’ve personally answered this question many times in YouTube comments, explaining that you had promised to add underwater control in the future.

If you happen to read this message, could you please clarify in one of your future posts whether this feature is still planned, or if you’ve decided not to add it?
For me, this is one of the most anticipated features.

Additionally, if controllable underwater swimming is added, it would make a lot of sense to also introduce scuba gear, with the option to buy it permanently rather than only renting it for a limited time.

Kjun, thank you so much for the video you have just released today, the development progress seems super promising and filled with content that I can't wait to see implemented in future major updates. We are so grateful to have you and the team as developers, always listening to us even when circumstances prevent certain situations from happening.

That ragdoll effect when you hit pedestrians with a vehicle is really realistic and I think it'll lead to some rather funny or bizarre poses, and the realistic acceleration is something I like as well. The performance update is greatly appreciated! I like the newer animations for setting the mood too.

Today I want to talk to you about something I've seen posted many times in the Inzoi subreddit, and we've also talked about it here on the discord: the genetics system really needs to be improved. In order to make sure our Zois pass down their genetics in a way that is satisfying for long multi-generational gameplay, I believe the following factors need to be addressed:

  1. facial presets need to be more consistent when switching genders, so that the same Zoi doesn't look completely different when switching their gender around. They should have the same 'slider values'. A soft nose on a female Zoi should translate to a soft nose for the male version as well, and so on. A lot of people have posted images of their Zois genderswapped on the discord, where these Zois turn into completely different people with different features, like sudden square jaws, large hooked noses, or chin dimples that weren't there before, or different eye shapes. These 'genderswapped' looks can be passed down onto a child that is the opposite gender of the parent, making it so the child doesn't look like either parent at all (examples attached. MV = male version, FV = female version of said zoi parent).

  2. Genetic pass-down needs to be regionalized. Get your mom's nose, your dad's eyes, your mom's lips, that sort of stuff. Create nice mixed facial features from both parents. Right now it seems like kids mostly get one parent's entire face presets with only some very minor changes.

  3. Zois genetic coloring should be persistent, even when they change hair/eye color later in the game. Right now, a middle-aged zoi with semi-grey hair can give birth to a child who will inherit their grey hair.

I liked all of it in general because those developments that you did were needed, please don't forget that we need some "create a zoi" improvements like being able to costumize a baby and maybe new lifestages like a lifestage between baby and a child where they can be smaller than a child but walk because they learned how to walk when they were babies, I mean kinda of 3-6 years old, we need also Cribs for the babies, it's really weird that the babies still sleep on the floor and can't be able to learn how to walk, speak, etc I mean yeah I look forward for these developments because right now the only thing that makes us know that a newborn is a newborn and a baby is a baby is the fact that the baby sleeps on the floor and the newborn sleep on the crib, there is not much difference between them and it should be, I hope we can get those familiy and life simulation developments soon pleaseeee

I have to admit I am obsessed with all these animations, from the baby throwing things to the angry journaling, including the poor victim more accurately flying away after the motorcycle incident😭 congratulations! The animations are incredible and the crime life getting more and more fun. Looking forward to the Lunar New Year CaZ too.

I still wanted to take this opportunity to discuss the changes in personalitry customization in CaZ: Please remove the ***mandatory ***information chart (name, personality, ambitions) for saving and sharing zois on Canvas. It should be optional, a lot of CaZ creators make zois just to share their appearance and let others choose and customize these details, and modders usually save presets for the mods modeling. If this feature becomes optional, it would be a win-win for everyone.

One thing that ive always realized is that the world seems dead, the npc zois dont feel alive at all. Maybe by adding more random animations and random talking between the zois in the city, would make it more alive!
Also, i see that we are finally having some improvement in the Parents-Children relationships! That was something i was waiting for since the beginning, it made me really happy!

I want to ask this specifically because its one of my biggest wishes in the game: It would be AMAZING if we could have many of our Zois in the** same** city while playing with only one zoi. Icon_1_Community For example, im playing with Alex in Dowon but i want Alex to meet Sarah which is one of my created zois from other family. What i mean by this is that we should be able to interact with other of our Zois in the cities! We should be able to visit them, interact with them without them being added to my family, keeping them a separated family that i created. but it would be nice if we could have babies, starting a friendship, becoming partners and etc!

There is currently an issue in the game where we cannot control the duration of actions.

As an example, I’ll use reading books. Right now, I have to click the book more than five times just to read it properly. Each time, the character stands up and puts the book back on the shelf, and I have to interrupt the action quickly, click the book again, and select “Read” once more.
This looks awkward and feels very tiring from a gameplay perspective.

I’ve created a simple design concept showing how action duration selection could work. By allowing players to choose how long an action is performed, you would also solve the issue of overly short animations, which many players are currently complaining about.

I strongly believe this feature should be one of the top-quality-of-life priorities when it comes to controlling Zois and managing gameplay flow.

Hello Kjun,
thank you so much for this update and for the video. It genuinely made me happy to see the added emotions and animations during reading — it already feels much more alive and thoughtful. It really gave me hope and excitement for the future of inZOI.

While watching it, a small idea came to mind that builds on this direction of emotional depth:

Reading doesn’t always feel like a static action in real life. Sometimes after reading a book (a novel or study material), we put it aside, walk around, think about what we just read, process it — and then come back and continue. It would be beautiful if Zois could do something similar:
briefly stop reading,
walk or stand while “thinking about what they read,”
then return to the book and continue from the same point.
It would also feel very natural if reading didn’t require staying seated all the time — a Zoi could read while standing, walking slowly, or even lying on the bed. The same idea could apply to reading online content as well.

These small moments make characters feel more human, reflective, and emotionally present. I really appreciate the care you’re putting into these details, and I’m very excited to see where inZOI goes from here. Thank you for standing so close to the players 🤍 @storm vortex

@storm vortex hey kjun! Love the enthusiasm but I think myself and others are really stressed about the future of this game. Every week we get an update on more content coming to the game when in the same breath, we still haven’t fixed the auto driving feature, zois still can’t sit on a bed, eating animations are egregiously long, there’s a cop lurking on EVERY street corner and so many other small features that have already been talked about (scuba diving, genetics etc.) that seem to be swept under the rug time and time again. I love new features just as much as the next guy but there are so many flaws still in the base game that deserve so much more time and polishing before even beginning to consider any new additions to the game. We all love this game and want to see it be a complete and less buggy experience before adding so many additional features.

it's just a personal preference, but i don't think adding a crafting desk is necessary. the current crafting table is enough. it’s straightforward, avoids option overload, and feels more comfortable to use

Can we give out white envelopes for Lunar New Year to family? 🐴

  • Please take a look at the current crime heist ability. My maxed level crime and programming Zoi cannot get past disabling 3 cameras before the alarms going off. I've seen comments from viewers saying they've never seen a heist successfully done without the alarms going off (I cannot verify this, of course). Is it just me? What are we doing wrong?
  • Also, kicking a fire hydrant should not be reason for Zoi's to instantly report that as a crime (though it does always give me a good laugh). 😅 Perhaps a warning should be given instead?
  • Facial expressions still need a lot of attention. More expressive faces (in tune with current emotions) would add so much liveliness to our Zois. So much emotion is expressed through our eyes and eyebrows. More blinking as well.

Reactions are disabled so I wanted to reply to just highlight how important this is for me and others as well.

Genetics play a big part of why a lot of people play legacy (aka long term with one family through multiple generations of one family). Being able to see them blend and evolve over time is the thing that can make me commit hundreds of hours into a singular save. As of right now, I'm not playing legacy style due to the instability of early access (which was to be expected and understandable). But if the genetic systems remain the same as it currently stands, I can see myself and a lot of others being bothered by it long term. A big part of what I've always disliked about Sims 4's genetic system is the fact the family tree have regressing chins. But for Inzoi as it stands currently, this feels bigger issue as it means family trees (and zois across the town with story progression) will just be cloning themselves or kids will end up not looking like a logical offspring to them and look like they came from other parents.

I understand genetic system is a difficult thing to get right and changes may potentially impact how people's current zois look. But this is why I think it's important to prioritise this as soon as possible to minimise impact to players. Legacy players are the players who can and will sink hundreds to even thousands of hours into the game and even content creators have had successful series for other games documenting their legacy save. But the genetic system, as it currently stands, may put off people playing in that style. If a better genetic system is improved, and again I understand this may be something difficult to get right or balance, it could mean long term playability for some of the most dedicated players of the genre.

Also on another note, absolutely love the improvements to family and relationships showcased in the video. That is also incredibly important in legacy to keep it feeling dynamic as generations pass. As a long term goal (going past early access) I would love to see this continued to be built upon. A potential future feature I would love to see is children having noticable different lives compared to other children from different backgrounds. This can be showcased via smaller features like rich kids being driven to school by a driver vs middle class and lower income children walking. Or the ability to assign chores to children to help out with their parents around the house. Just things that will make families and especially their children feel different each play.

Dear Devs, all these new features (a lot of the things that are shown in the video aren't even on the already too ambitious roadmap) would sound amazing if there weren't more urgent things to do.

Why don't you prioritize these things first instead of wasting valueable and limited development resources on number plates, property prizes, craft objects at any desk and such stuff no one ever asked for and that are not important -> right now <- ?
And while players struggle with all the bugs and hardships that don't get fixed/reset properly.
It seems to me that you don't really have a plan and that worries me for the future of inZOI.
If you don't know where to start or which feature to prioritize, please bring polls and surveys to the ingame lobby and ask what's the most important for us - the players you are developing this game for.

But at least you experienced first hand how annoying it is to get interrupted by NPCs all the time -.-

• Couch interactions: if ZOI is already sitting, queued actions should not make them stand up and sit again
• Fitness actions are too short → should last until canceled or tired
• Allow moving ZOI avatar UI to screen corners
• Allow multiple outfits per category
• Full keyboard remapping (Redo → Ctrl+Y)
• Shoulder Camera should follow character direction and interaction prompt (“F”) should appear only when holding a key (e.g. Alt)
• Free Camera option to keep UI visible
• Free Camera: toggle ceiling visibility
• ZOI should use closest wardrobe to bed for pajamas
• Couch poses for watching TV (relaxed, laying down, etc.)
• Couch posture influenced by personality
• Add Likes/Dislikes in character creation
• Random life events (slipping, dog poop, car splashes puddle water)
• Remove PC screen projection effect
• Phone App Store + phone wallpaper customization
• Separate offline vs online PC games (online increases Social/Relationships slowly)
• Programming takes too long + app prices feel fixed and never reach max value

Bugs / Issues
• Create ZOI preset loads only Everyday outfit instead of all outfits
• Business system issues:
– Employees stop showing up and no way to call them to show up
– Cafeteria requires pre-cooking instead of cooking on order...?
– Business can go negative and becomes completely unusable
(if you have a cafeteria you have to cook food to be able to sell, and you can't cook because it requires money. Business should be able to operate on negative.)
– NPCs wash hands in kitchen instead of bathroom
– No customer feedback in businesses (mood, impatience, satisfaction)
– Business money not separated from personal money
– Build Mode hotkey opens home build while in business lot
– Muffins sold as single item instead of multiple units

But I'm wondering...

I see that Zoi Presets now save Zoi's traits, name, and goals too. That is great to see. However, any plans on having the preset include the other outfits too?

Right now only the everyday outfit is saved, requiring the other outfits to be saved separately in the style menu and remembering which Zoi wore what.

So if Zoi Presets could also include the other outfits like formal, sleep, weather etc, it would be really awesome.

I like the changes. As someone who is a fitness nut in game and who loves to cook/bake/garden, I hope in the future we can get more garden crops, more food options, and more fitness interactions this year. For fitness jumping rope and a rock climbing wall would be fun. I also liked when when the fitness and wellness were separate skills. Wellness could lead us to more interactions for businesses like creating spas. I really would like that. These interactions though are great.

I love the family animations and strollers. 🤩 The romantic bathing animation is also sweet. Please replace the towels with white foam. The towels destroys the immersion. The towels would be nice to use once you get out of the bath/shower and leave it on until the player changes clothes.

A new set the mood interaction that felt more intimate, and couples can take a bath together, wow, that's so immersive. It would be a great addition for more couple interaction, set the mood in the bathtub and shower together, also set the mood too, now that would be more realistic immersion for InZOI. Okay, Kjun, keep up the good updates. I love to see more of it.

I also want to thank the devs for the hotfix that was released today. It addressed a lot of bugs that were disrupting gameplay especially in the My Business feature and I'm really glad to see you were able to fix them so quickly, including (most of) the give birth bug that was pretty game breaking. Please keep it up with the bug fixes you're doing great ❤️

Love all this. Even though in that brainstorm Kjun didn’t respond to my suggestions to bring the main cities closer to the Canvastown concept, gradually transforming all (most of) pre-baked (pre-made) buildings into buildable lots that’s exactly what happened (fragments of posts are on the screenshots, so no more doubts).

The only thing is, we’ll still need to clarify how far such buildings will be able to render, whether their LODs will be handled more intelligently, with proper indoor culling/shading, and whether the architecture will be restored in detail (varied roofs, friezes, cornices, gables, drainpipes, etc.: after all, so much was modeled, not in vain).

In inZOI I see a truly complex, layered concept that is gradually expanding horizons in terms of technical solutions, range of genres, the degree of drama, and other edge‑case features. It feels very cool and very mature. Thank you so much 💜

FEEDBACK REGARDING MONEY MAKING VIA SKILLS IN COMPARISON WITH CRIME
The game needs rebalance regarding these. After investing many time to reach Programming lvl 10, it unlocks an option to "Hack the Bank" and you can get caught doing it. It gave my zoi 1.000 bucks only when I succeded.
Then I tried commiting a crime. The first time I did "Commit Secondhand Fraud" (which is a low lvl option, I think it unlocks on Crime lvl1), I gained 1800.

I don't want the Crime aspect to not make almost any money and become a almost useless option (regarding moneymaking) that only serves for roleplaying purposes. I think is nice to earn high bucks in sacrifice of your zoi values and morals. I just think skills needs to give more money to the player, right now they are almost useless. It takes so long to write an app in the beginning, and it gave my zoi 100 bucks only, while is so easy to earn money by commiting crimes.

Since when Hacking the bank (with programming skill) requires programming lvl 10 and you can algo get caught, it should give player at least something aroung 10k.

ANOTHER UNRELATED POINT:
Hungry decay is TOO fast. My zoi hunger bar was completely emptyu at 1pm, I filled the bar and around 8pm was completely empty again. I think it makes more sense if completely empty to be something you would get after a whole day without eating. Like for example, if the zoi wants to eat only a heavy breakfast, he could theoretically only eat at night again, even though he would be hungry during the afternoon (but not completely empty, more like below half, but manageable). Not only hunger but other stats like bathroom as well. This is why my ZOI only stays at home, because I can't put him out on the street that he is already almost pissing himself or dying of hunger

The work that you’re doing is incredible.

For groups, please allow us to add more than 4 zois to a group. Allow us to do more things as a group like ride theme park rides together and see all our zois on the rides, play actual 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, or 3 vs 3 games of basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, and even football. Please allow us to go swimming and diving together, watch movies together, play cards, hookah and much more.

Please allow us to order crafted bar drinks for our zois and groups at all nightclub, lounge, and art gallery venues.

Please add more elaborate jewelry store, bank heists that require acrobatic skills to get through security systems for more experienced criminals, distracting guards, get away drivers, and hideout spots for criminals. Please allow heists that you can recruit a team of criminals to help with that provide much larger payouts based off of risk.

Please add alot more romantic interactions and objects like hot tubs/jacuzzis that can be occupied for groups and couples. Also giving us the option to drink cocktail in hot tubs as well.

Please give us the option to hire a butler, assign a living quarters that can cook, clean, make bar drinks for our zois.

Please give homeless zois the option to build a shelter out of sticks, etc, igloos for heavy snow conditions, or even purchase a tent that can be occupied by multiple zois.

Please make vehicles the default traveling method for you and your groups instead of walking, and taking the bus.

Please add actual functional restaurants where we can order from servers, order from menus, and brought our food by zois instead of kiosks.

Please add sibling rivalries that can progress throughout zois lives, of who’s the favorite, more successful, most popular, etc.

Could we please also add an option for relatives in the family tree when you create a family. For example, siblings, grandparents, etc. I know so many people would love to start a save file or create families with siblings and that has not been an option for awhile now.

I love the bathe together animation! I had to use mods to have something like this in my games (Sims 4), but now it's a base game function! Keep on adding more of intimate romantic interactions please. What you guys have shown is a good start! And yes, finally, a transition to set the mood. Now it looks and feels more natural. For the group serving, I would love to see them set it down one plate at a time instead of a one sweep animation to make it more immersive. Also loving the new Korean architecture, would love to see some more!

Hey Kjun! Great work so far! Can you give players the option to change a zoi's voice pitch? It should also apply to NPC's at random settings. We should have the ability to make zois sound as unique as they look, but right now there is only the same sounding voice for them.

I really love the upcoming new changes. Can we get a birthday cake system when a Zoi blow the candle on the cake it ages like in sims 4? so we can avoid auto aging. And swimming together in group and back floating in pools and make everything longer when interactions are going on too. 🙂 Thank you.

Using the phone on the toilet is a little TOO realistic hahaha! 😂 I kinda liked the wonky limbs bending backwards after accidents, lol. Still, thanks for acknowledging the issue. I appreciate the team's hard work! Please make maids and nannies more robust. Right now both seem to be bugged and don't work well. Toddlers are very draining and hard to raise without a maid or nanny.

As for suggestions for the game, could you possibly add the Switch for romantically exploring or not (so attraction could change over time) since in real life, sexuality is very fluid and changes over time. It isn't always a hard yes or a hard no. Like, what if you're straight but there's that one person that you get along with so wonderfully, you just develop a crush? Would defnitely make for very interesting stories. and maybe the ability to have crushes on somebody not attracted to your gender (and then get rejected because theyre not into your gender). 1/2

Omg! You have no idea how excited I am for these updates!! Firstly LOVE being able to see the property prices from the world view, I have also desperately been wanting to see property info like the title, dimensions etc. in build mode too to help when placing buildings from canvas (lot size filters are also desperately needed in canvas!)

In love with crafting at any desk! The new romance animations, the bed and bath one especially are SO cute!

So excited for building decor to become actual buildings! SOOOO excited! Can we have more livable residential lots in Blissbay neighbourhood's please? I need my neighbours to live side by side and opposite each other!

Also, maybe have values tie in more strongly into personalities? Cause what if we have a malicious troublemaker, but they meet a specific person that influences their coexistence value to such a degree that they go from “ an untrained Rottweiler to a "couch potato labrador” and thus become nice, functional members of society? Of course, they may have the occasional slip-ups, but all in all they become nice to be around? As for loyal or disloyal traits, wouldn’t it make more sense to introduce it as a value as opposed to an actual characteristic? Like, if a zoi is constantly in a bad relationship, their loyalty dwindled and they’re more likely to cheat, but being in a constant good and respectful relationship, their loyalty increases and thus they become less likely to cheat? Just a thought.

Also, please consider tweaking the preteens since their bodies are quite developed and it looks jarring. Make them shorter with more childlike bodies (so someone between a child and a teen please). But the faces are perfect, no notes on that 🫡

Oh, and the voices please.

And once again, I hope you'll consider adding height presets (so short, medium, tall) so more variety since a height slider wouldnt be viable 🙏

Agreed with all of this and I love the group autonomy and how it (for the most part) forces them to autonomously do things together and walk the same places but the group members are still too distant and there's not enough multiple zoi activities and I wish they could have conversation with their group members while doing an activity meant for one zoi.
So heres an idea:

  • Adding a "Walk and Talk" animation. This way 2 or more zoi's automatically walk a route together while chatting and building friendship. This interaction should only end when the player stops it and would solve the distant feeling still present in the group system.
  • This animation should also autonomously happen whenever your zoi (or anyone in the group) goes to do an individual task so it will at least look more interactive with them walking and talking to the activity object together.

This one might just be for the builders, but please, for Canvas, add the ability to go up and down a floor when taking photo's. On Canvas, you can take one photo on any floor, then the next photo will always be the first floor. The only work around is to have your Zoi actually there, take the photo's in live mode, then post it to Canvas 😭

I would like to suggest like many others the option for couples to shower together. And yeah if we could somehow get around the towels that would be great too lol. Also I hope you guys are still working on looping animations or giving the option to do certain actions for a certain amount of time like 2+ hours. I would love if teen zois could randomly get messages from their friends to sneak out in the middle of the night or even during class and they could get grounded if caught ( if it occurs at home) or if they’re caught during school then they could get detention, which their parents would be notified about.

I’d also like to see an option for teen zois to give each other promise rings and to actually have the label as dating. I love the new animations and I hope we get many more🤩.

I would love to have the ability to directly import 3D models into the game so that players don't have to use the 3d printer (say someone's computer can't run the 3d printer)

i think the "form a group" option should kick in automatically when we invite a zoi to a location or when a zoi invites us somewhere. it makes sense that if we go out with someone, we want them to stay close to us.

All these new things being added to the game makes me so excited!

Since everyone's talking about CAZ improvements, genetics and down the line the Hospital will become more intractable it would be nice to be able to give your Zois "plastic surgery". The reason for this is because sometimes kids can come out looking... interesting. Once a Zoi becomes a young adult they can go to the hospital to get cosmetic surgery. There could be a small chance of failure and the Zoi can look horrendous. Also, a smaller chance of death on the operating table.

Speaking of death, it would be cool to add more death scenarios in game. For example, a tiny chance that your Zoi chokes to death on food. A small chance for clumsy Zois slipping and falling in the tub, shower or falling down the stairs can be interesting deaths.

I can second that after disarming 2 or 3 alarms - it gets tripped off even though my zoi is maxed out on ALL skills (wanted to test out if something was wrong). I’ve attempted robbery 9 times so far and have yet to get past the alarms going off after disarming 2 or 3 of them . Of course, doing a heist should not be easy, but seeing that I’m not the only one not able to do a successful heist might show that something is possible wrong or bugged.

Wow, those are great new features, especially interactions and groups tracking. I also wonder if it is possible to place any lots no matter what sizes they are. For example, large lot size can be placed on small lot size and vice versa. If large lot are being placed on small lot, then the trees or bushes or anything that surround will disappear and there will be no red lines around which mean it is too large for small size Life by You game that was canceled had it.

To enhance the soul of the game, we propose a complete overhaul of the "Reading" action. Instead of a single static animation, we suggest a Multi-State Animation System that reflects the Zoi's physical comfort and intellectual engagement.

  1. Posture Fluidity (Contextual Positions):
    Reading shouldn't be limited to a chair. A Zoi should be able to read in various realistic positions:
    Standing: Lean against a wall or a kitchen counter while reading.
    Walking: Pacing slowly around the room or a park while eyes are glued to the pages.
    Relaxed: Lying on their stomach on the bed, or leaning against the headboard with pillows.
  2. Intellectual Reflection (The "Break" Mechanic):
    Reading a powerful book often leads to deep thought. We propose a "Mid-Reading Reflection" animation:
    The Excitement Break: In the middle of a chapter, the Zoi suddenly closes the book (keeping a finger as a bookmark) or puts it down, stands up, and starts pacing the room with a thoughtful or excited expression, processing what they just read.
    Resume Reading: After a few moments of "Thinking," the Zoi returns to their seat or bed to resume the immersion.
  3. Emotional Micro-Transitions:
    It's not just "Happy" or "Sad." We need Subtle Reactions: Shaking the head in disbelief, a small smirk at a clever line, or adjusting glasses/hair while deeply focused.

Also the new set the mood interaction is so cool !! YESS. I love that we're getting something spicy. Pls add more spicy couple interactions like that and the bathing together one. I'm all for the spicy stuff as long as it's within your game rating. With the set the mood, there could be more animation styles depending on the mood of the Zoi's when they set the mood. Like if they are angry or even lovestruck (or the highest flirty mood) they have a more passionate set the mood interaction, maybe like the initiator pushing the Zoi on the bed.

I love that we are getting more familial interactions. I've been begging for hugging/kissing between family and friends. Can we see some comfort interactions ? I love the child comforting parent, can we see parent comforting their child/teen ? Maybe a snuggle time ? Like parents can snuggle their children/teens on the couch, floor, etc. Snuggling while watching TV. Tucking children in.

Omg I would love some grandparent->grandchild interactions. Like a grandparent sneaking candy to their grandchildren and the child will get a "grandma's purse candy" positive moodlet.

More pregnancy interactions please. I would love it if their partners could be more of a support for their pregnant partners. I'm in LOVE with the "give lemon candy" interaction, I would love to see more like that. Maybe even a "belly hug" interaction where the partner hugs the pregnant partner from behind and holding their belly. A "sway together" interaction to help alleviate pains. Maybe if they witness their partner having morning sickness, they could rub their back or autonomously offer them some water. Fixing their craved foods. Maybe some more pregnancy related convo topics: "discuss gender preference" and if the parents could express slight excitement or disappointment depending on the preference, "talk about baby names", etc. I would love an overhaul with pregnant Zoi's as well.

Hi Kjun, loved the video and the updates. The new bed animations and the option to take a bath together are great. It would be nice to have a shower together option too. I also agree with others about adding underwater swimming using the WASD keys. I noticed the jet ski can only accommodate 1 Zoi—could you make it so 2 Zois can ride, similar to mopeds and for them to wear life jackets while riding the jet skis?

For Zois who go to jail, can the crack in the wall and emergency rescue be disabled, specifically after Zois have been convicted after trial or the Zoi has been sent to jail multiple times? I find that the Zois can escape jail too easily. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime...LOL!!! Them escaping should be more difficult, maybe even a hefty fine if they get caught after escaping. It would a be way to make Zois really consider the cost and deter them from committing crimes. Also, when police give citations or warning, can they maybe use a notepad instead of having Zois reach out their hands as if they're getting arrested. Sometimes it looks like the Zoi is getting arrested with their hands out and going to jail, when it's just a citation or a fine.

I also hope we get an update on the text messaging feature soon or the ability to call Zois. Maintaining or having relationships with Zois is difficult to have and the limited greeting or ask about day feature on the phone is not enough and we need more phone conversation options. Can you also add landlines so Zois can have a house phone?

An overhaul for pregnant Zoi's. More belly sizes, stretch marks, being able to adjust the length of pregnancy. Chance of miscarriage if you neglect the pregnant Zoi. Pregnant Zoi's should be a bit more needy, like hunger and bladder depleting a bit quicker, moodier, etc. Waddle when walking in their 3rd trimester. Back pain, cradling their belly when standing or sitting idle, gagging and rubbing their stomach when they have the morning sickness moodlet. I would love a more intimate way for them to break the news to their partner, such as showing them the positive test, holding up a onesie, even an ultrasound photo. Also the ability to breastfeed when the baby is a newborn.

Hi Kjun, first off I would like to say I am very happy and excited that inzoi is embracing both the dark and wholesome sides of life simulation it give me as a player variety and replay-ability knowing that that I go through different arcs.
Suggestions:

  • I think you should add street names and signs to the game it would make navigating a lot easier if I could reference a street name. I would also like a mini map as well but I will let you decided if you want to put that in the game or not (should be able to turn off and moved around like the other UI).
  • we should be able to write in the diary when we have any emotion.
    Praise:
  • Thank you for adding the ability to hit things and keeping the ability to hit people with vehicles, now just make it so we don't go to jail right away when hitting someone.
  • I love that the crime system actually works, for example I have noticed that I actually have to wait and see if anyone is around or they will call the cops on me.
  • The specific zoi override stuff in CAZ is so welcome!
    Problems:
  • My biggest problem right now is navigating the city/ open world. I have a horrible sense of direction in real life and that translates to any game I play as well haha.

Seeing how much work they’ve put into cars especially acceleration and speed is honestly crazy. It made me think how cool it would be if that speed actually came with consequences.

Like, imagine police cars naturally roaming the city, not spawning. If you’re going insanely fast or run a red light, a nearby cop car pulls you over. First a warning, then fines, then real consequences if you keep pushing it. That would make driving feel way more real and intense.

Everything they’re building already feels next-level, and something like this would make the city feel truly alive.

Thanks for sharing some exciting news on what’s coming to inZOI! I’ve had a suggestion in the back of my mind for a while now, and I’d love to share it here to see if it’s something worth considering for the game.

Suggestion: City Cultural Identity System (Traits, Trends, Language & Food)

This suggestion aims to provide a city-based cultural identity system that makes each inZOI city feel truly alive, evolving, and socially distinct over time.

Core Idea is that each city could have a limited number of cultural identity slots (for example, 5 total):

Some slots are innate/permanent which can be defined as core traditions.

Some are player-influenced or adjustable.

At least one slot is dynamic, shaped by trends and soft power.

This keeps culture flexible without losing identity.


Cultural Traits & Upbringing
Zois who grow up in a city naturally inherit subtle cultural traits tied to its current identities: Spoken language, lifestyle preferences, outlook on life, career inclinations, preferred food and values.

These should be probabilistic influences, not hard locks, and can evolve if Zois move or integrate into other cities' cultures.


Trends & Soft Power: Cities can generate local or global trends based on:

The Zois currently living there

The city’s soft power (entertainment, leisure, media industries)

Examples:

Dowon shaping global trends via K-pop / idol culture

Bay Area city influencing media and celebrity culture (Hollywood-like)

Cahaya gaining attention from viral surfing competitions or other outdoor activities

A future European-inspired city dominating global fashion

Over time, a dominant trend can replace one non-permanent cultural slot, representing cultural evolution. Core traditions remain unless the player chooses otherwise.


Language ( as part of a dedicated cultural slot)

Every city starts with a native language, the name of which players can arbitrarily give

Languages can:

Mutate through long-term cultural exchange
Spread or dominate other cities via soft power
Remain stable across history despite trends

Zois who live abroad, grow up multicultural, or migrate early can become bi- or multilingual.

Language plays an important role in how Zois communicate. If Zois come from cities with different native languages, communication may require knowledge of an international or dominant language, influenced by the city with the greatest cultural influence.


Food & Cuisine (Core + Trend Slot)

Each city has a traditional cuisine as a core cultural slot. Food can also appear in the trend slot, enabling: Viral dishes, Street food booms.

Fusion cuisines may also appear when driven by migration from other cities and/or trends

A city could preserve its traditional food culture while also becoming globally known for a trendy dish.

Reasons for suggesting:

This would:
1)give cities layers of meaningfully difference beyond visuals.

  1. support generational storytelling and migration narratives

  2. reflect how real cultures evolve over time

  3. give players agency to preserve, reshape, or globalize a city’s identity

  4. strengthen immersion through language, food, and soft power

Overall, this system would make inZOI’s world feel like a living society shaped by people, history, and cultural influence, not just static locations.

I love the new romance options! Which reminds me to ask will we see a Valentine's day update? I would love to see Valentine's day decor items, clothes and maybe even romantic foods like heart cookies, chocolates, etc. I also would love to see hot tubs added to the maps for public use/and home so Zois can relax together and couples can cuddle like the new bathtub interaction. Another request I have is to have npcs use public pools and swim together, maybe even play together in the pools.

I really appreciate the direction InZOI is heading and the ambition behind it. The recent updates show promise, and even small things... like Zois being able to get hit by cars, signal a willingness to move beyond a strictly PG experience, which is honestly a good start.

That said, if InZOI wants to survive and truly stand out in the life sim market, it needs to lean further into adult-oriented gameplay. The majority of players engaging most deeply with InZOI are not children, and we don’t need or want to be treated as such. Violence, smoking, crime systems, moral consequences, and greater freedom of choice should exist in-game, not be left entirely to mods.

Relying on mods to add depth creates fragmentation and hurts optimization. For InZOI to thrive with minimal mods, these systems need to be officially supported and thoughtfully integrated. Without them, the game risks becoming too similar to existing life sims - - safe, sanitized, and ultimately forgettable.

Please don’t make InZOI cookie-cutter. Make it bold, messy, human, and unique. That’s where its long-term appeal really is.

I have a suggestion for the upcoming K-Pop update in the 2026 roadmap. It would be great if you could add a new world based on Akihabara and Seoul.
The city should be filled with idol stages on every corner to really capture that pop culture feel. I’m suggesting these two cities because Akihabara is famous for Japanese idols, and Seoul is the heart of K-Pop.

  • This wouldn't be a just social media based influencer career where the more you post the popular you are. This would be harder to do, The world where you had to befriend other socialites to even get in that 'circle' or you're a nobody. Working your way up to be recognized by society. This is based more so 2000s socialites world, where you have to attend social events, VIP celeb parties, interviews, grand openings, fashion shows, traveling the world to other events, modeling, and photo shoots. The paparazzi magazines, tv, or zois would handle most of the publicity. This would be by seeing them around a lot hanging out with other celebs, asking to take pics, spotting them at parties, word of mouth by talking about them a lot.
    Inspired by: tv shows like The Hills, Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie, Gossip Girl.

I feel the criminal career should be a skill tree branch that would be focused on psychology manipulation of others into getting what they want the lower the skill the less convincing they are vs higher skills.

Could there be a possibility to use the original, pre-0.30 (pre-cahaya) UI in the future as an option ?

There have been a couple update to the UI since including the one in October. Each time it makes part of the UI bigger or change a component. The pre-Cahaya or “slim” UI as I call it, had a slim emotion bar, a smaller round portrait, small “urges” bar with a white line that grew shorter the less time you had to complete it, no Zoi bubbles over their head, and had the infamous “Cat’s eye” pointer. Now many of us loved that early design, and I dare say we would still chose it if we had the chance.

Since many love the new UI and the bigger things without having to “mouse over” each component, I do not want to deprive them of it, but it would be REALLY NICE if we could have the old one as an option !

Is that something that would be possible or are you already considering it?Thank you for the hard work from you and your team !

Some things I hope InZOI can add is the ability to eat food in the inventory, directly from inventory, instead of us having to take it out directly and then click to eat. We should be able to click the food in the inventory and click eat directly inside the inventory, and our zoi will be seen eating right away.

As business owners, we should be able to set the amount of money that will be given to workers who works under us, like their paycheck. Also someone mentioned, businesses money and personal money should be separated, because workers are draining employer’s money for no reason.

I hope someday, we can take flowers from the ground and bundles flowers together. Selling flowers we picked and bundled would be nice.

Will we still be able to get Christmas items after the holiday event? I really wish we can have the huge Christmas tree and holiday singers in every map during winter cause I really love that! I'm just wondering how this will work cause every time you start a new game you have to earn the items again and I would not want to lose everything. I love the idea of seasonal events and hope we get these every season because I would love something like this for Valentine's day and having a Spring event for Easter except I would want to make sure I can have and get the items all year around.

But overall I’m glad that in this brainstorm there are even more posts about sociocultural and linguistic identities, differences, trends, and city‑wide communications. I first started thinking about this from day one. A city without it is, for now, just scenery with random events and some generic NPCs. It doesn’t have its own heart, or at least doesn’t show it. Mass events and trends aren’t broadcast anywhere: not in social media, not through NPCs or venues in the world, not at all. Likewise, the player doesn’t influence them. Usually, people in the community communicate and interact not on a private interpersonal level, but rather around shared interests, which are typically external (if they even communicate in person and not just in public feeds).

In Cities: Skylines citizens would post tweets here and there about what’s happening in the city: where a concert or a match is, what new TV shows are on, which store opened where, complaining about traffic jams or crime. In City Life citizens formed social layers (marginals, blue‑collar workers, bohemians, etc.) and organized by district. In The URBZ there were as many as nine groups and different hubs.

As well as Japanese city based on Tokyo with Akihabara, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku, and other districts like in Persona 5 (Inokashira Park, Aoyama-Itchome – Shujin Academy) is just super requested.

Here, ofc, the formal boundary is between a classic life‑sim and a social simulator (Persona), but believe me, this is in no way “foreign” to a life simulation, quite the opposite.

Omg love these ideas, especially when it comes to surgery and plastic surgery. I do hope some serious surgeries come to the game as well as medical conditions and complications (both random and inherited) but I'm sure I read this in the roadmap somewhere.

I also think the "small chance a zoi looks horrendous after plastic surgery" would be amazing if the zoi had an emotional reaction to it. "I'm hideous" emotional state, not wanting to be seen in public, or look in the mirror, or post on social media bc of mean comments etc.

The zoi would have to get another surgery to correct it or learn to come to terms with their new appearance over time, this would make for some cool and unique story telling 😃

I agree, I saw a discussion on Reddit about this yesterday, how a lot of Inzoi's audience is actually adults which makes sense due to system requirements, most kids don't have access to high end gaming PC's.

I do think acknowledging and aligning itself with it's adult demographic of players will make the game more realistic, interesting and fun. I wish smoking, buying cigarettes and alcohol at your local convenience store, the ability to become drunk or be arrested for drink driving over the limit were a possibility in the game.

It would be more fun if theres more than just a single "police arrest thief" outcome. Here are mechanics that are more interesting:

Dynamic Property Owner's and Witnesse's Reactions/Outcomes

  • Owner warns you and lets you go (but has negative memory of you)
  • Owner demands work as repayment
  • Owner chases you off with a tool 😅
  • Witnesses can also report to cops
  • Owner or witnesses spread rumors about you
  • Owner blackmails you for future favors
    • Owe a "favor debt" (future quest hooks)

Player Agency in Outcome

  • Let players apologize and pay crops back plus interest

  • Get sympathy, ask for leftovers

  • Success depends on player stats and owner traits (forgiving, aggressive)

This, 100 %. I understand if devs are reluctant to overhaul the current genetics system if it may cause problems for current zois. But that’s exactly why it would need to be prioritised asap. I fear it will otherwise be a major longterm gameplay issue for many players. I hope the team will consider this urgently 🙏🙏🙏

🎨🎨🎨 CANVAS

I'm not sure if anyone else has suggested this yet but Canvas seems to lag quite a bit when accessing in game. It would be nice to have this experience be smooth and snappy as I spend a lot of time going through it looking for creations.

Also lot size filters are a must in both Canvas and Build mode! We need to be able to see the size of the lot we're editing as well as what matching lots of the same size we can place.

Also while on the topic, please can we have the ability to edit lots directly from the world view instead of having to play a household to edit a public or residential lot?

I don't know if you plan to add the ability to change lot types (from commercial to residential and vice versa) down the road but this would be very cool too!

CAR ACCIDENTS

  • It would be nice if all zois who get hit by cars or scooters have some probability percentage of not dying immediately, but, ambulances could come on the scene and take them to the hospital. Where some might just have visible injuries (arm or leg in cast, cuts, bruises), or the worse case scenario they do die.
  • If two zois driving cars hit each other there should still be police man come to take statements and they be asked if they need to go to the hospital.
  • This 2 cars hitting each other scenario could work in court system as well where it's debated on if a car is damaged they will plea for a new car replacement and sue for injuries.

MOVING INTO HOMES
⦁ When we first load the game and pick a new home to move into I think it would be nice to have this 'open house realtor' feel (it'd be cool if other home owners were there looking to buy as well) in a isolated state, where we can actually view around the home when it's empty to decide if we want to buy it. Then go up to the realtor zoi and tell them we want to purchase the home.

Family Interactions

  • Will children be able to give their both parents kisses as well and not just moms?
  • Couples taking baths together could there be an option for it to be a longer animation loop like 1 in game hr until we cancel it.
  • Parent's taking their children and babies a bath. Children parents could wash their backs and for babies they could take one in the sink.

Build Mode

  • More traditional Korean items. I would love to see double layer sliding windows with paper screens added and both parts can open and close like these (pic below) with animations to match <3, 3D Yeondeung ceilings, Maru floors, Toet-maru sliding doors and gwangchang from the 1970s, Morijang cabinets, Floor Lanterns (pics below),Pyung sang tables where zois can eat/sit/or have tea.

Animations:

  • Screen changes when withdrawing money or checking balance from a ATM machine that shows real amount, generic animation when depositing money, or when hacking ATMs. Other animation of money coming out of the machine when you withdraw money as well.
  • When zois go to pay for things have a wallet or they reach into a imaginary pocket pulling out money.
  • I'm not sure if this could ever be possible but if a group of friends are sitting down a stranger comes up to them and stands there, it'd be funny if they just stop talking turned and staired like "Who is this person?"
  • Starbooks Coffee having a live zoi working the booth so zois can order coffee or snacks on the go

DIARIES

  • It would be cool random generated text (like the smartzoi) was added as diary entries based on the mood when zois write in them. Each entry would have words of what zois was feeling and experienced based on others or events that occurred.
  • Diaries being actual objects that can be taken into inventories or placed anywhere to write in.
  • Needing to buy a new diary once it'd been filled with 20 entries
  • Diaries of zois can be read by others. Which would give an invasion of privacy emotion where zois can cry or become angry when they find out. Other zois can confess they've read someone's diary and spill secrets.

I get the humor, but the "set the mood animation" feels a bit too cheesy for my taste. I'll prefer a gentle embrace without exaggeration of barrel roll animation lol. The "bathing together" animation also comes off as a little awkward, honestly. If you look closely, the girl hesitates slightly, which makes it seem like they aren't real lovers

According to the info I have, trend‑setting is driven mainly by K‑pop idols, K-Drama actors, the entertainment industry, global luxury brands, they’re usually promoted by entertainment companies (SM, YG, JYP, and for us Adam Entertainment), social media (TikTok, Instagram, and for us Bubbly), as well as media and outdoor advertising.

Fashion designers and boutiques can launch trends on their own, especially when it comes to luxury brands (Chanel, Dior, Gentle Monster), yet without idols or actors as a showcase, the impact is weaker.

This is exactly the part of the social simulator that inZOI actively promoted before release. It was about a whole community, rather than just a family, and ofc I got involved in it.

--SCRIPT MODS--

I've been thinking a lot about script mods and how much fun and traction they can bring to the game.

I do wonder if it would be at all possible to roll out script mods for specific aspects of the game gradually throughout the year instead of one huge update all at once at the end of the year?

For example, give modders the ability to add their own food to the game first, then allow them to make script mods for emotions, then careers etc. bit by bit. Just to allow a gradual roll out so they can at least get familiar with the system and we the players can get some script mods before the bigger integrations at the end of the year?

I am no developer so this is purely a question.

I know this has been done so far with aesthetic mods for example clothing mods were released first, then hair mods second etc. so I really hope this is a possibility. ❤️❤️❤️

Suggestion: Relationship Boundaries for Autonomous Flirting

Hi inZOI team! 👋
I’d like to suggest an improvement to autonomous flirting behavior.

Right now, Zois tend to flirt with everyone automatically, even when they or the other Zoi already have a spouse or committed partner. This can feel immersion-breaking for players who prefer realistic or faithful relationship gameplay. It would be great to have a Relationship Boundaries system, such as:

➡️* Auto-limiting or disabling flirting for married or exclusive Zois*
➡️ A player toggle for monogamous / faithful behavior
➡️ Trait-based flirting (loyal vs. flirty Zois)
➡️ Prevent flirting with married Zois unless explicitly allowed
➡️ Optional jealousy or relationship consequences
➡️ Option to fully turn off autonomous romantic actions

This would give players more control and make relationship dynamics feel more intentional and realistic. Thanks for considering! 💖

Kjun, I loved everything I saw in your dev video, and I’m really excited for the next inZOI update! One small thing I’m hoping for is longer animation loops for couples bathing together. Things like cuddling or mood-setting moments lasting a bit longer would elevate the gameplay experience as well. It would also be a great touch to have options like rose petals in the tub for romantic baths, or different kinds of bath bombs and bubble baths to enjoy together, like single bathers have. Please keep cooking, because I’m enjoying what you’re serving.

Also for build mode, it is extremely difficult to find the properties I have downloaded from Canvas without scrolling through every single lot I own. Please add to the search bar a drop down field that will allow us to sort by property location and lot size the house or business is meant for. It's cumbersome to find my downloaded properties because they get added to the rest and it becomes an unorganized mess. I would like something like The Sims 4 has for their Gallery and Library where you sort for exact lot dimensions. inZOI desperately needs something like this for Canvas and in build mode.

PS: While we wait for pets, can we have Psycat-inspired toys/stuffed animals for the kids to play with as well as Psycat-shaped throw pillows for the Zois to cuddle? ❤️ text_ThankYou Doodle_Heart

I’ve been enjoying the Groups feature, so I’m looking forward to it being expanded. Please make it so groups walk together even if one is slow. 🙏 ❤️ Child zois don’t walk as fast as adults, but I want the family members to walk together when they move as a group.

Yeah, I’ve written about full synchronous group movement as well. In Kjun’s comment reply, it appeared as ”You emphasized features such as hand-holding”, while originally it was:

  • synchronous movement/following the active group member regardless of input (WASD, controller) + walking hand‑in‑hand, leading a child, pushing a stroller while following another Zoi; scooters, jet skis, or surfers following one another.
    Maybe it wasn’t expressed quite correctly back then, and for games this is super rare (pretty much never), but, dear Team, are such sequences specifically planned for inZOI?

CHANGES TO CAMERAS:
-When using WASD to control your character, be with the normal camera or shoulder camera, there should be a way to toggle the camera staying behind your zoi's back.
RIght now, when you make a turn using WASD, the cmaera doesn't follow you and you have to always use right mouse click to turn the camera. In a long game session, that gets really tiring.

But the biggest change that I really want...
FREE CAMERA SHOULD BE A NORMAL GAMEPLAY CAMERA
Instead of turning all UI off almost like if it was a Photo mode, the Free Camera should keep all UI and let the player play the game normally that way. I dont want the camera to stay centered in my zoi all the time.

Yes! Please Kjun and inZOI team, I know that improved genetics are listed in the plans for 2026, but no details were revealed.

I absolutely love multi-generational gameplay, so genetics are one of the most important things in the game. It has to be right or people will be disappointed with having families if they think the babies come out looking very strange, or if they always look too much like one of the parents.

Like Anne wrote, it would be nice to see parents contribute parts of their facial presets to their children, such as a daughter born with her father's eye colour, her mother's eye shape, her mother's jawline, her father's nose, etc. It would be nice if siblings looked different from one another and their parents, but that it would be obvious they are all close relatives.

Another important thing with genetics is inherited traits like skin tone, skin type, eye colour, eye type, and base hair colour. When a baby is created, it inherits genes from both parents. For each of the facial features, there would be a dominant and recessive gene passed to the child and the dominant one is what's expressed. Eye colour for example: there would be a dominant eye colour gene they inherit from one parent and it's expressed on their face, but the other parent's eye colour would be inherited as a recessive gene. The child could pass on their expressed eye colour, or the recessive eye colour they received from the other parent. The same could be done with other parts of the presets: eye shape, nose, cheeks, chin, jawline, mouth shape, etc.

I'm not sure what the best solution for unnatural hair colours (like blue) would be, but that's a small detail, I think.

Of course, that's not how real-life genetics work, but it would help with immersion and a sense of realism in the game if there were dominant and recessive genes to pass on through multiple generations.

I’ve been thinking a lot about natural disasters and environmental danger, and I feel this could fit InZOI really well if done in a realistic, choice-driven way.
For example: Thunderstorms: during heavy storms, Zois should be encouraged to stay indoors. If a Zoi insists on staying outside in open areas, near metal, or water, there could be a real risk of being struck by lightning. Smarter or more cautious Zois would seek shelter automatically, while reckless ones might ignore the danger.
Heavy fog: fog could reduce visibility in the city, increasing the chance of traffic accidents. Walking on sidewalks, using scooters, or bikes would be safer choices than driving. Rushing or careless behavior would increase risk.
Strong winds or tornado-like events: during extreme weather, Zois outside could be knocked down, injured, or even killed, while staying home, closing windows, and preparing in advance would greatly reduce danger.
Heat waves: extreme heat could cause Zois to sweat, become very thirsty, tired, irritable, and stressed. Movement becomes slower, decision-making worse, and vulnerable Zois (children, elderly) are affected more unless they rest, hydrate, or stay in cool areas.
There should always be:
Weather warnings
News alerts
Gradual environmental changes
So death or serious injury would only happen if risks are repeatedly ignored never suddenly or unfairly.
These systems could create meaningful emergent stories:
families protecting each other, long-term fear after disasters, emotional consequences, and changed behavior over time.
If made optional in settings (off / mild / realistic), this could add a huge layer of realism and immersion, and truly make InZOI feel like a living, human city rather than a perfectly safe simulation.

I really love the direction InZOI is taking toward realism and emotional immersion.
One area that feels especially important to me is everyday social warmth the small, natural rituals that make a house feel alive, not just functional.
I’d like to share a few interaction concepts that aim to enhance immersion through these everyday social rituals, focusing on shared drinks, hosting guests, and fluid social behavior to strengthen emotional connection between Zois.

  1. Intimate Coffee/Drink Rituals (Two Persons):
    To enhance emotional warmth, when a Zoi makes two cups of coffee or tea, they should be able to carry both cups simultaneously. They should then walk over to another Zoi and offer the cup with a warm, spontaneous gesture. This interaction should trigger a "Conversation Flow" where they talk while holding and sipping their drinks, either standing or sitting.
  2. The "Hospitality Tray" System (Group Hosting):
    For gatherings with more than two people, I suggest a "Serving Tray" mechanic. A Zoi could prepare multiple drinks, place them on a tray, and carry it to the group. The player can then choose who to serve first. Seeing a Zoi pour juice or coffee and hand it out manually while guests are standing or sitting would add an incredible level of cinematic realism and hospitality "warmth" to the game.
  3. Fluid Socializing:
    Characters should be able to hold their drinks, walk around, and switch between sitting and standing without breaking the conversation or the animation of holding the cup. This "fluidity" is key to making the house feel like a real home.

  • Instead of customers simply taking the items, please include a detailed motion where the employee packages them and then pays for them.
    I don't know how many times I've brought up the issues with the automatic lights, "Free Will" turning on at will, and things like phone calls.

I hope you fix things that can be fixed quickly.

Thanks for clarifying! I know that death from lightning, heat waves, and dust storms are already in the game, and I love that InZOI includes these events.
My suggestion wasn’t about adding the disasters themselves, but about how players experience and react to them. Even with the events present, there’s room to make the world feel more alive and tense:
Zois could decide whether to go outside or stay indoors based on their personality and awareness.
The danger could sometimes be greater than expected, making risk-taking a meaningful choice rather than just a background mechanic.
Consequences could extend beyond immediate injury or death for example, long-term stress, family concern, or changed behavior after surviving a severe event.
The goal is not to force violence or death, but to enhance immersion, realism, and emotional engagement. This way, disasters feel like part of a living,

Once again I’d like to suggest an option to listen to music while walking around the city. So when are zoi puts on earbuds all we would hear is the music that way it really feels immersive. Hopefully if we get this option that we have a few customization options for what kind of earbuds/ headphones we want to wear.

Hopefully the swimming underwater is something that we’re still getting even if there isn’t a set date at the moment and that we can have different types of swimming strokes added as well as the option to just float ( while slowly being moved by the waves, so definitely have to get solid physics there)

I hope eventually we get the option to have our zois get into gaming as a hobby. So actually seeing them play with friends or family in person or online, a split screen visual for co-op games and seeing our zois talk through the mic if playing online with friends.

For future layered snow as seen in the fundamentals part of the roadmap, I do hope this applies to snow that accumulates on Cars as snow isn’t always some thin layer. And the snow should cover the entire car when it snows heavily not just the top. So if you do plan to layer snow on cars as well when there’s light snow it should be nice and fluffy, so it can be brushed off easily with a snow brush. Once the snow gets thicker it should take more time to get it off the car and have a bit more physical effort while doing so. And for when it gets really cold and it then freezes I hope that we can have an animation where the zoi switches the brush around to the scraper side to scrape ice off the windows. I do hope that we get the option for cars to skid on the ice a bit and for people to fall while walking on it as well. It also would be nice to have npcs use snowblowers or shovels to remove snow from the sidewalks ( our zoi can also do this for their own homes too). In Bliss Bay, there is already a movie theater building you can peek into (CineTitan), located on the former parking lot near the Themed studio, but it’s not yet accessible. As the devs assured, it will be opened for visits in future updates. From the footage, I understand that Ora d’Oro is also being rebuilt through Build Mode. That’s the one, isn’t it (red outline)? As we can see, it will be accessible, but will it also be available for business?

(But yes, there should be a more flexible approach to lot types, right now, hardcoding them and assigning 6-7 new business sites don’t make sense when there are already best busy places.)

Therefore, we end up pleading through brainstorms again and again: the personality system should be dynamic and progressive (RPG-like), the current static one (action-like) simply doesn’t work for such an ambitious game.

The developers should either make traits dynamic/non-static, so players don't have to create a new zoi just to access criminal gameplay. Or remove the link between traits and criminal actions altogether. However, that raises the question: would removing this restriction undermine the purpose of traits?

This is exactly why I prefer dynamic traits. Dynamic traits allow characters to evolve through gameplay, preventing entire mechanics from being permanently locked behind traits chosen during CAZ.

I hope inzoi can push toward a more organic, evolving character identity, where who a zoi becomes is the result of their lived life, not just their starting setup. A system where traits are not just chosen, but formed, reinforced, weakened, or replaced through play would make each Zoi feel truly unique and alive. This kind of evolving personality system could strongly differentiate inzoi and deepen long-term engagement. In my opinion that is more immersive and closer to real life than predefined traits that are static.

As for the condition system, it feels unnecessary. It seems like it was added only because the developers realized there needed to be another way to access criminal gameplay besides traits. Imo, if there has to be a condition, it should be tied to skill level maybe?

As for functional movie theaters ( which I can’t wait for!)
I hope we’ll be able to work there as well and not just attend. So we can have zois run the cashiers, make food, clean the area and do the theater rounds. There could also be a day during the week when movies are discounted so there’s more npcs coming in those days. Having certain movies that are really popular as well so that generates more foot traffic. Theaters can have various amounts of cleaning needed depending on how dirty the theater is. So i feel like when it comes to cleaning there shouldn’t be the same amount of time to clean each theater , it should vary cause sometimes you can have lots of people but they’re not very messy or have small amounts of people and they’re very messy.

But if I have to say a word in this, I think the criminal career shouldn’t be locked behind traits when it comes to the player (us players), but npc without the “rule breaker” trait shouldn’t automatically break the law or do crime at all. What do I mean? Well, npc without the malicious or rule breaker trait will not commit crimes nor have the urge to do it, but I believe when it comes to the real players, US, we the player have free will and should be able to force zois of any trait that we play as to commit a crime or become full criminals (Yes, even if the zois react badly to it due to their traits), so just like how we force control zois who aren’t listening to us when we make them go somewhere, we should be able to manually make a zoi become a criminal. (The word force is kinda crazy to use but it’s true)

I saw someone said tutorials for criminals require you to be poor or emotionally distressed, I think that’s a bit limiting. (Not sure if that’s true)

I'm not sure how they program npc zois, like do they use the same traits as player made zois, and can have criminal career as well? So I'm not sure if your method can apply.

The forcing logic..I have doubts that would work the way we wanted. Like, maybe you can force a non rule breaker zoi to commit crime but they might fail and have a very low success rate, so you technically still can't really force them when it's not their talent.

It requires you to have low assets, debt, and psychological distress. As I said previously, I think its unnecessary. The biggest issue for me is the traits/characteristics being static.

But if like, if my zoi doesn’t have the criminals traits (Rule breaker and Malicious) I should still be able to force my zoi to try to lock pick someone’s door, but my zoi would feel very horrible about it unlikes the traits who enjoys it, and my zoi shouldn’t do crimes unless I manually control them with my “free will” 😆

I think having only a less rich zoi be a criminal would be limiting, because how will I someday make a rich mafia boss?

It would be interesting to see phobias and fears in the game. For instance, someone who was caught in a terrible storm or lost someone in a storm, they might feel especially scared when the weather starts to change. Or they might wake up with a worry about bad weather, like how our zois can feel worried after a dream.

I dont think this is necessarily a size issue but more so time, attention to detail,and decorating needed to make lots feel realistic. Because if we want malls and airports those are huge spaces. And I dont see them sacrificing size for quality when we can have both, we see it all throughout canvas 😊

Like coffee shops for example we still need those display cases and more coffee equipment, and restaurants needing menus, smaller tables to fit more zois because curently theyre too big, dining placemats etc.

The clothing boutique stores, the movie theater, the flower shop, law offices, police station (which is being worked on), resell shop, funeral home, hotels, the food trucks, that coffee booth in between buildings called 'Kstarbooks Coffee' that could also be another part time job, where zois stand behind it and serve coffee. You get the idea haha !

But I think what would be more interesting is allowing us a mod setting in the game to allow us to add new tasks and remove tasks from job. Like it was in the game Life By You. Where we could create brand new roles if there were none available.

Yes, there are conditions, yes, it’s a game convention, but it exists as a certain entry point. Otherwise, it looks like you picked up a blogger’s narrative, while my Zoi fulfilled 2 of 3 conditions. And that’s not exactly a game design flaw, it’s just that the first two conditions can be achieved through gameplay, so players should be granted the opportunity to become Malicious / Rulebreaker due to various gameplay circumstances.

Values can be raised above 60 to unlock unique actions, so traits could work in a similar way. Similarly, the Value Challenger unlocks the option to access stocks page on the PC or post selfie – another condition, but that’s how the game design works.

My brain wasn't prepared to receive this out of the box idea lol, but I kinda get your perspective and it does seem like what you're describing is a type of possible gameplay. Kinda like when you make them eat their hated food, or do their hated hobby. But personally I think it will get repetitive eventually because you know the outcome is always gonna be negative. The reason why it's tied to traits might be because it's something that needs progressive path, idk lol. 🤷‍♀️

I just don’t know if the idea would make my zoi become a entire persona from someone I didn’t want them to be, unless I am understanding Neon Rain’s comment wrong. I am not against Neon Rain’s suggestion, but I also worry what will it do to my zoi? For example, some zois I would like them to grow like Neon Rain said, but there are zois that I may not want them to become different from the original version of them I had created, because they might be the zois I play as the most or leave to be like they are. But if I am understanding correctly, are you guys perhaps saying only when you’re doing criminal behavior, it will trigger a change in trait? And if this is so, would it affect my zoi if I make them perform a negative interaction, would it make them want to be the malicious trait even if I did not intend it? Or what happens when a zoi is faithful, will a mistake from the player make the zoi unfaithful then?

I love this idea, and yes this is exactly what I was thinking about.
Not just the event itself, but the lasting psychological impact.
Phobias, fear responses, and anticipation would make disasters feel truly human:
A Zoi becoming anxious when the sky darkens after surviving a storm
Hesitating to leave the house during heavy weather
Feeling protective or panicked about family members
Developing long-term traits like fear of storms, heat, or strong winds
Even small things like waking up worried after a bad weather-related experience, similar to how dreams affect Zois now, would add so much depth.
These kinds of systems would turn disasters into personal stories, not just environmental events and that’s where InZOI really shines.

Some things I would like to see:

CAZ:
✨ Can we please get a “roll genetics” option to create children, siblings, twins, and parents?
✨ Please add more relationship choices in CAZ, such as brother/sister, aunts/uncles, nieces/nephews, cousins, and stepchildren.
✨ Please add all life stages to CAZ: Infants, toddlers, and adolescents.
✨ I have seen a few comments already about a better genetic system, so I won't delve too deeply, as there are already some great ideas. However, we do need an updated genetics system.

Life stages:
✨ I would like to see the heights and bodies of toddlers and adolescents changed. Toddler taller than infants and adolescents shorter than teens and taller than children.
✨ More interactions between children include tag, hide and seek, cops and robbers, jump rope, playing catch, playing hopscotch together, and imaginative play.

What I mean does not only occur for only criminal behavior. More like for all characteristics/traits that can shift, or dynamically change depending on repetitive player actions which apply to a hidden value slider. I can't really lay out in detail technically, but the concept is basically emerging traits are possible, and as they get stronger or weaker depending on the value, through experiences and memories, it slowly can shape your zoi's personality.. it's perhaps something very difficult to develop now, as it would need to constantly calculate in the background. One person already confronted me about accepting this idea only if it was implemented well and balanced and I agree. Just like you, they emphasized on preferring static traits, and I understand players who like static traits and want their zois to be the same exact way they created in CAZ. What I like to see is similar to character growth through discovery and memories. I get its kinda impossible to please both sides because 2 options exist at the same time may just be a huge burden on the simulation, it would break probably lol.

Idk, even in TS4: Growing Together (if we compare with that franchise), they added the Self‑Discovery feature, where you can unlock bonus traits (from aspirations, e.g. Bodybuilder), reward traits (for completing aspirations or through achievements, e.g. Friend to the world asp. -> Gregarious (in progress) -> Beloved (completed) traits; Criminal Career -> Boss/Oracle personality branch), and so on. As a result, the 3 base traits in CAS can grow to 6. Also, when sim discovers new preferences, the game asks, “Does your Sim like … Y/N?” So overall, this system can always be given more player control.

Perhaps, a solution is being able to lock the zois you want to stay the same while the rest can go on their own journey to change lol? I don’t know, maybe my suggestion here would just be a hassle 😭 if the organic thing you guys talked about is implemented, I just hope zois don’t automatically change in a day, maybe days later or something I don’t know. I guess we will see what Kjun comes up with, but my original comment was somehow deleted so hopefully it wasn’t confusing for Kjun when he reads.

Short summary of my original comment for Kjun: I saw that criminals is for zois who are less rich and in emotional distress, not sure if that’s true, but I hope someday, rich zois can be criminals as well. Its great that the team is finally working on Setting the Mood and intimacy in game.
Setting the Mood should be possible in multiple locations, like: sofa, bed, hammock, shower, bathtub, sauna.
Also in more public objects like car, photobooth.
Zois reactions should vary depending on their relation and personality. For some Zois idea of using less obvious object than a bed should result in negative response (more traditional personality).

I am very happy to hear you are working on allowing for more customized building. I am waiting for the day I can customize venues for my Zoi’s to go to, as that is central to my style of play. I had used the cheats previously provided to customize public spaces, and lost all of my beautiful work when the game was updated. So the prospect of more customization in the future peaks my interest in coming back to your game. All the best as you create more content & possibilities for our Zoi’s.

I completely agree. I love the build aspect of this game, but if you're regularily doing it, you run out of options relatively quick. I've avoided using mods in almost all of my builds, because I know that within months the build won't work anymore (or at least won't be the same as I designed it). Builders either need more furniture options or mod stability to really bring our visions to life! ❤️

I def agree with the topic of genetics. I'm begging you to add it to the fundamentals list. Here is an example of 3 generations from my legacy. The same child is being produced since birth even though their dads have a ton of unique features. I would like to see a good blend of mom and dad in the offspring. I feel like I usually just encounter a copy of mom with Dad's eyes.

Second example (pic 3). Is the same thing happening. Their daughter looks exactly like mom except she has her dad's hair color. Pic 4 is of mom when she was a child and daughter. They literally have the same face, copy paste. I'm begging you to flesh out the genetics system. I'm a genetics player, and it's really depressing to see exact copies being produced for multiple generations. I would love to see some recessive traits, random traits being passed from extended family, traits that skip a generation and come back, etc. It doesn't have to be a perfect blend because genetics don't work that way, however we should be able to see traits from both parents. Please prioritize this.

I really wish we can get separate presets for facial features in create a zoi cause I just do not like how my zois are coming out having to use just one ENTIRE zoi preset. I want to have presets for eyes, nose, lips, chin, cheeks, etc. Also animations REALLY need work I cannot stress this enough because they are so buggy.

I would love to see restaurants and option to reserve a table for your party. I hate when my zois sit at different tables like strangers. I would like to see fine dining, Zois ordering from a menu at the table with a waiter and being able to dine together as a couple or group and sit and chat/eat together. I think it would be cool to see a romance dining option, dining out with friends or dining with whole family and having kid menus.

Driving needs improvements overall. Inzoi being a realistic game I want to see realistic driving, but vehicles do not stop when they should and often go through my car or pop up, then vanish quickly. I would like seeing realistic traffic.

Agreed.
Baby is okayish, toddler is okay too, preschooler would be inbetween toddler and child (typically 3-6yo) halfsized between the crawling toddler and the child.

More important is the adolescent right now, which looks like an adult. It should be halfway between child and teen, and a resize of the teenager (that would still show muscles but less and show breasts for girls but less).

It would be perfect to complete the age groups.
(the we need to be able to create newborns, toddlers and adolescent in CAZ but we can have that discussion later).

Restaurants and Restaurant Businesses

  • Restaurants being able to choose menu items available for different times of day Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. This would be just an additional option not a replacement.
  • Diners in restaurants sitting down for a while first, waiter comes to take their drink order (juice,wine,water, etc.) and served drinks, then order their food.
  • Fine dining that's different from regular restaurants. Where it's more fancy, there's 5 course meals, there's decorum rules set, you have to wear the proper clothing, have to make reservations first.

Build Mode

  • The ability to build platforms over pools (pic below)
  • Shallow pools for multiple zois to enjoy especially if we make spa businesses, they just sit in the pools and relax and can also lay back and close their eyes.
  • Wall art (pic included) that covers a whole wall on multiple levels
  • More pool and pond decorations (like the pool floats, but these would be floating decor only) like lily pads, candles, lanterns, flower petals. But I think an even cooler feature would be being able to also use the 3D Object tool and place objects on water that way as well.
    -Being able to create smaller angled stair cases if possible and rounded fences and railing (both examples in same pic)

I can't say for sure how close that is to my concept since I don't play the sims. What I am describing is far more than just unlockable traits though. It's a continuous, background evaluated personality system where memories + repeated actions slowly reshape traits, not through scripted events but emergent accumulation. Honestly it's so hard to describe it accurately because it sounds both conceptually and systematically challenging, and sometimes I don't know if what I am trying to communicate makes sense as even I get lost lol

A memory-driven personality system where repeated experiences reinforce hidden values, allowing traits to emerge naturally and gradually reshaping how characters perceive, remember, and express themselves over time.

  • Maybe, if we don’t hang out with friends, romantic partner, or family when they invite us to hang out, over time, the friends, romantic partners, or family members that invited us will feel neglected or message us about the distancing relationship after being neglected for some days. (Maybe this is already kinda in the game)

  • When I played InZOI, I saw that Zois can have urges to do something with another zoi or think about them, but I hope we can have something like “longing” where zois will message our zoi saying “Hey, we haven’t been hanging out and I miss those times. Want to hang out?” Or “We haven’t been hanging. Want to hang out?” Rejecting a hang out will make the zoi that is your friend or romantic partner feel even more neglected over time, if rejection is a constant. These consequences can be for any relationship.

(Replying to @finite vapor: Yeah that’s true 😅 npc cars need to be aware there’s people and other vehicles in front of them, learn to pause like real cars. But yeah, we will see what Kjun do)

Yeah, that concern totally makes sense. I don't think a system like this should force changes on everyone. Being able to lock traits or even lock a zoi entirely sounds like a solution, so players who want static personalities can keep them exactly as created. Any organic change should also be very slow, based on long term patterns, not day to day stuff. Ideally it'd be more about subtle shifts over time, not traits flipping so suddenly. But I doubt the devs will try to implement this as the majority seems fine with the current system.

Regarding the rest going on their journey. What I have in mind is that only the players can slowly nudge a zoi's (not npc) autonomous behavior by controlling them to do things which feeds into the hidden value slider

Speaking of relationships. I would like to see more animations for certain actions/gestures. I feel that breakups or calling off engagement/divorce is not dramatic enough, like handing back the ring or throw the ring would add more dramatic animations. I would love to see more flirty body language when flirting with one another. Also getting caught cheating could be more dramatic. I feel the zoi shall be mad at both their partner and the person that was caught with them. And also if a Zoi is friends or BFF I find it weird for their friends to be flirting with their spouses/significant(bf/gf) that goes back to morals

Also when will "talk on the phone" become another form of communication? Sometimes I just want to see Zois converse on the phone as well (not only during an emergency)

Agree! I posted about this in the last thread as well but it wasn't addressed so I'll repeat my feedback here as an addition to this:

Adjustments to the toddler and adolescent lifestage visuals
I've read in the reddit Q&A that adding more life stages is not part of your plans due to the amount of funding that'd be necessary to make this happen. However, if these are the life stages we're going to be stuck with, we need some visual changes to the existing toddler and adolescent lifestage. Toddlers currently are visually too similar to newborns and adolescents are too similar to teens.

Toddlers need to be a little bigger in the body on top of the additional behavioral changes that you have planned. They should look like they're 2-3 years old, instead of the current model that is closer to a 1-year old. Your plans to add more hair + clothes for toddlers helps, but won't be enough if they keep their current tiny baby arms and legs.

Adolescents in their turn should be a bit smaller and more youthful than the current teens. I can honesty barely notice the difference between adolescents and young adults at the moment, which really shouldn't be the case. I would model them more after kids that are around 12 years old (and maybe give us the option to give them braces as well, that'd help a lot to create a more adolescent image).

I understand this might be as difficult as adding a new lifestage, but I highly recommend investing resources into this because I think family gameplay is one of the most essential elements to a life sim and should be handled with top priority. Currently I kind of feel like we're missing out on the best years of a child's life (those really cute and fun walking-and-talking toddler years)!

Another thing is newly saved makeup presets seem to now change the eye color? Please remove eye color from makeup presets and also skin color from style presets... these are now pretty much useless unless I'm using them on the same exact zoi I saved the presets with... I dont think "style" or "makeup" should effect genetics

It seems to me that the body itself needs to be made more realistic, thin characters should have visible ribs, collarbones and pelvic bones should protrude strongly, fertile ones should have a double chin and folds, and the texture of the skin on the body is not so ideal that it would not create the effect of a plastic doll with a human head, because in the game it looks exactly like that.

I've noticed that elderly Zoi's faces look old but the rest of their body doesn't. Their hands don't have wrinkles and their arms and legs don't have age spots. It looked uncanny when I was creating an elder Zoi.
I think Zoi's bodies should match their age and the type of weight they are.

**Criminal Career **

Love the fact that stealing crops is now an option as it not only adds more gameplay content, but also adds multipurpose to items already existing in game for emergent gameplay. Below are some suggestions for consideration or inspiration to expand on criminal content.

Jail/Prison

Currently when a zoi breaks out of jail, wandering pedestrians do not react from seeing an escapee even while they are in an inmate uniform. Realistically, zois should be worried or freaked out and should be calling the police on the escapee.

Receiving a fee from escaping jail/prison is unrealistic as this should make a zoi become a wanted criminal. There should be active authorities looking for the escapee which can result in the following:

  • Wanted posters
  • News of the escapee through newspapers, TV Broadcasts or on Billboards
  • Make other zois be high on alert of the wanted criminal and them using Bubbly to spread news or rumors.
  • Family members of the escapee being aware and the possibility of them either snitching or helping the zoi escapee if they return home or etc. due to relationship status and traits.
  • Undergo plastic surgery or go to the hair salon to change appearance to reduce awareness and suspicion of being a wanted criminal.

While in jail/prison, a zoi’s personal phone should be detained/restricted (no phone access). They would have to use a payphone in jail/prison to make outbound calls to family members, friends or to appoint a lawyer.

**Bribery **

**Guards: **

Chance to bribe a guard with money to smuggle in regular ‘**ordinary’ **clothes. So that once a zoi breaks out, they can change out of their inmate uniform. Thus reducing suspicion as an escapee from pedestrians.

Chance to bribe a guard with money to smuggle in zoi’s personal phone. From there, the zoi can continue to perform crimes jobs within jail/prison for money and reputation building.

  • If able to smuggle in phone, maybe be able to hire services or tools such as a getaway car, tools, crew or etc. to help escape out of jail/prison
  • Maybe have the ability to hide phone in bed or other places during routine guard searches. If caught with phone, keys or etc., further punishment and consequences should be imposed.

Chance to bribe guard with money to get breakout tips, keys to leave cell or to receive a temporary access card to the security room to disable cameras for jail/prison break out.

  • Failure to bribe guards successfully should lead to consequences as they are now aware of unlawful intentions.

Stealing

It be nice if Zois had the ability to steal any furniture and appliances as well, especially when breaking into other zoi’s homes. Such as:

  • TVs
  • Computers
  • Kitchen appliances
  • Chairs, couches or beds
  • Paintings and etc.
  • Pets (ransom) 👀 👀 👀

In a previous brainstorm thread, I’d suggested maybe incorporating a separate inventory system for criminals for stealing, for example: backpacks (small), duffle bags (medium) and sacks (large). Each inventory storage has a capacity and size limit of items that can be stolen and stored (to encourage and incentivize players to climb up the ranks in their criminal career to obtain better inventory storage & unlock items they'll be able to steal). I will forward/repost that post below as it elaborates each storage inventory with more information.

Hideouts & UI

When actively being chased by police, it would be nice if there were surrounding hideouts a ZOI can hideaway at to lay low until searching is called off such as:

  • Dumpters
  • Storage units
  • Cars
  • Abandoned buildings and etc.

Additionally, an UI detailing when an active pursuit is underway and when it is over.

**Suggestions for improving Burglary Gameplay **

Different Security Systems

  • Moving Laser Beams: Beams constantly moving around an area. If a burglar touches the moving laser beams, then an alarm is trip off alerting the police.

  • Motion Sensor (turns on and off frequently on a set timer): Can move around a bit to steal items before having to pause for a bit. If a burglar moves or performs an action when the motion sensor is ‘active’, it will trip off the alarm alerting the police.

For example: I can move around and steal items for 10 seconds since the motion sensor is ‘not active’. Then I have to be still for 5 seconds when the motion sensor turns on and becomes ‘active’. When the motion sensor turns off, I have 10 seconds again to move around to steal or escape before the motion sensor is 'active' again.

**Different Inventory Storage **

3 levels of storage: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Higher skills, completing challenges, achievements and building reputation will unlock better quality storage & items criminals will be able to steal throughout their career. Each type of storage has a limit and item size capacity of items that can be be stolen:

Backpack
Level: Beginner
Capacity: 10 items
Size: small items like books, plants, figurines, sacks, food and etc.

**Duffle Bag **
Level: Intermediate
Capacity: 20 items
Size: Medium items like chairs, dressers, kitchen appliances, TVs, plants and etc.

**Large Sack **
Level: Advanced
Capacity: 30 items
Size: Large items like TVs, couches, beds, work out equipment, pets and etc. Basically can steal ANY item.

Pawn Shop & Black Market

Stolen items can be sold at the **pawn shop **or at the **resale store **with low to medium rewarding cash payouts with low suspicion of theft, but if sold on the **black market (Dark Mew) **cash payouts are more rewarding and higher, but there is a high chance of being tracked, caught and being sent to jail/prison.

Mini Games

Instead of simply clicking an option to pick lock a door or safe and wait 10 seconds or so for an animation to play out - doing mini games instead will be more engaging and challenging (games like memory sequences, connecting lines/wires together, matching pairs of symbols or etc.). Failure to complete the mini game before time is up will set off the alarm alerting the police. The difficulty of the mini games varies depending on the level of the safe or door (beginner, intermediate and advanced). Low level safes will have low cash payouts and easy mini games and advanced level safes will have large cash payouts, but more complex mini games.

**Patrolling Security Guards **

By having patrolling security guards at some locations will add an extra layer of challenge to players as they will need to take in account of navigating and evading while trying to steal. If a noise level meter system was implemented then this can be used for patrolling officers to be alerted if they hear a burglar nearby so that they can take action.

NPCs

NPCs need to be more reactive if they see or hear an intruder. Currently, when a home burglary is occurring, only one active zoi can either fight the thief or call the police. The thief can walk in front of several other zois in the household and the other zois would **NOT **react or take action. On the flip side, the burglar keeps walking around finding something to steal even though they were seen by several other zois in the household. These are very unrealistic reactions of a home burglary. Any zoi in the household should be able to react and take action instead of one. Also if the burglar is seen , they should be trying to flee or fight instead of continuing to steal items.

One thing I was thinking about when zois have emotions. Take two examples below

Sadness: because someone went missing

Since there's a an AI conversations coming i think itd be interesting if thoughts kept popping up towards whats causing the sadness. "Where's James??" "Why hasnt he come home yet, its not like him..."

Then they'd proceed to ask others around them if they have seen James.

Aflutter: because they went on a date with a mutual crush and kissed.

"He's so cute, and the kiss was a amazing, Ugh, why is he so cute!?" "I love the way he smiles"

So we as players would know whats on zois minds autonomously, without prompts from ai but directly from the interactions and events itself.

I like this idea too, as long as it doesn't require the Zois to do groceries all the time. Like once a zoi-week should be enough to stock up, otherwise it'll disrupt gameplay too much. Groceries are fun, but not if you have to go do them every day lol. Especially stuff like diapers should be able to be bought in bulk, because those kids whine about dirty diapers way too often! 😂

For the music production skill, it'd be amazing if there was a feelance career to go right with it. Zois would have to record their singing with a mic and produce the track on the computer, finalizing it and sending it off earning them a weekly stipend of cash. Similarly to businesses, the higher skill they are, the more they'll be able to promote their music, receive deals, and be signed to labels!

Not every house has a bathtub which is why showering together should also be an option.

Children's Interactions in the Store: If a parent is shopping with a young child, the child might pull sweets from the lower shelves and put them in the trolley without the parent's knowledge. They can draw a webtoon on the tablet. Zoi struggles sometimes to find new ideas and inspiration. They might need to visit some new places or meet new people for a new experience to make it more challenging, in addition to that please remove the double-screen hologram from the computer or have a way where we can disable that option🙏

Reposting my suggestions: Social media trends, clustering item better, traffic stimulation etc

  • If trends does come back into InZOI, please allow trends to be set by doing #trends on InZOI’s bubbly or something, because not everyone wants to set a trend randomly but they might want a choice to choose which trends should be used or what item is for a trend.

  • Burglar/robbers that comes to our home should rob valuable items too and not just money alone. Allow us to exchange with burglars/robbers if they have robbed us on a items or money that we are too scared to fight back for, so we can decide what item to exchange from the burglar/robber.

  • If our money or items were taken by robber/burglar, and if they are caught by police, later on, allow our stolen items and money to return back to us.

  • All human items like all household items for the kitchen, lotions, facial cleanser, hand soap etc should be interactive with a “Use item”

  • Please allow clustering small items like face cleanser, lotions, night light, household items etc closer when set them on the table, so it will look more realistic.

  • Traffic should be better because npc cars are going through each other, when npc cars should be pausing for one another.

  • Npc zois and the player walking on street seem to be immune to npc cars hitting us directly. It would be immersive to see ambulance take people who had been in a accident by a car.

  • The traffic light doesn’t change fast enough. Maybe speed it up just very slightly?

  • Please add boats, jet skii, cruise ship in BlissBay. We don’t currently have cruise ship but someday, I would like one. I would love to be able to walk on the boats more freely, because we can’t walk onto the sun bathing area on the boat.

Fishing Career, Ocean scenery etc:

  • Add a job for fishing where the employer task us how many fish to get on certain days and what types of fish to get, but this requires the free roaming in the ocean to better catch the right types of fishes, instead of it being a gamble. Catching the right fish to sell to manager or fish market should give us good money. I think this job will be a very fun job loop.

  • I hope the ocean can have more area thats are decorated to look pretty, or scary, or mysterious like the actual ocean so we can have more places to explore. We also need diving equipments so we don’t drown or waste breaths so fast.

  • Ability to jump because it’s gives us more freedom. (By this I don’t mean parkour jumping, though that would be cool to see)

Tutorial for slower people

  • Add a real time short tutorials for beginners instead of reading in menu. The tutorials will highlight where UI features are or what the icon features means, or where to find the inventory and the phone’s location etc. What do I mean by highlight in tutorials? When we receive stuff in our inventory, the inventory gets highlighted and that makes it easier to know what is happening. Some people don’t seem to know what to do with InZOI unless they are being spoon fed, so I suggested short tutorial gameplay and yes, the tutorial should be skippable. Also, new players come into InZOI not knowing what InZOI’s goal is, or what to do so I think making Psycat tell players to enjoy the stimulation life, start a job, uncover places, stories, and have fun will help push new players to be less clueless

Kjun please have npcs swim in the ocean and public pools. I feel like the water areas are dead because no one is using them except my Zoi. It would make a huge difference in realism if Zois were swimming and doing water activities with others like maybe playing together and doing laps/kids splashing and playing, also see other zois surfing. I would also love for hot tubs to be introduced cause I would love seeing Zois relax together and chat in them. But please allow npcs to use them and not just our household.

GhostPlay Expansion Gameplay loop

Add exorcist, shaman, or whatever you call them that you can call to purge a ghost out of a home.
When purging a home is done, the evil ghost won’t be able to invade the protected house unless the ghost go collect more fear energy by scaring people to become “stronger,” so that the ghost can invade the same home that had purged the evil ghost.

What happens if the evil ghost don’t continue collecting “fear energy?” The ghost will become weaker after 2 days of not feeding off the fear energy, and the exorcist will be able to purge the house faster when the ghost gets weaker.

What happens when a exorcist deals with a stronger ghost? Maybe it might take longer to exorcise the ghost? Or they might have to call in more backup. Or maybe, the place gets permanently haunted unless we use cheats?

I agree with these things for the criminal career because it adds some more depth to crime.

Also there’s settings for city sanitation and fire, so I wonder if there can be missions from the mysterious building to steal from banks, jewelry stores, etc over time and if we complete those task, we get even more money and rise as a rich criminal, where cops can’t touch us because we are paying everyone off and the city sanitation can go down when the city becomes lawless. This would put these setting in the city use? I don’t know.

Also since we’re getting arm floats for toddlers and infant I do hope we get the option to teach toddlers and children how to swim. Adding mini slides and diving boards for Pools would be cool too. And when we get bikes I hope we can get double seated bikes so family and friends can ride with us

I’d like to suggest a new feature for Canvastown. I’ve noticed that the current maps are mostly flat, which works well for city layouts. However, it could be really interesting to include a slightly hilly area on the map something that could host two or three constructions, perhaps with a castle-like feel.

Additionally, you might consider adding a lake area with houses built around it. It would be great if the lake could freeze during winter.

I noticed that Zois have a website where they “check” new arrivals of clothing and accessories, and I feel more and more like making something like that functional. Platforms like CONNECT Gamewear (CLO), Palet’s seasonal drops are progressing pretty solidly, MyBusiness system has already been introduced, so I’m moving to in-game concepts.

• Each branded boutique can offer its own assortment and collections (players can optionally lock this stuff in CAZ.)
• This approach allows players to access content as part of fictional (or real) brands, collections, and gameplay systems including in-game (!) pricing, discounts, and seasonal drops.

• With MyBusiness, players would be able to create their own brands:

  • new crafting mechanics – sew or order custom designs (with CLO?), craft jewellery (like in LBY);
  • import or generate logos, manage collections and pricing;
  • build their own boutiques, stock racks and dress mannequins;
  • create storefronts on a marketplace;
  • run ads and collaborations with idols and other celebrities (Bubbly, Adam Entertainment, billboards).

• Players can access these collections:

  • right in the boutiques (racks and mannequins – the outfit should be recognizable, try-on zone, catalogs);
  • through the PocketMarket App, especially if pickup points are planned in the game.

• Like in lots of action-RPG and life-sim games:

  • trying on should be super clear and easy, a unified CAZ-like UI with unique boutique background screen to mix and match outfits and add them to the cart for the next payment step, just like IRL;
  • the same applies to skincare products, perfumes,, beauty, tattoo salons and barbershops – the mechanics are the same, but more variety is always a win.

I hope the shoulder view camera is more responsive (faster) to avoid obstacles as they are currently go through walls and very slowly zoom in, while the zoi is moving can cause the camera to constantly being behind something while try to slowly avoiding them. I also hope that ceiling lights are ignored as an obstacle, due to zooming in and out with low hanging lights in small spaced areas such as kitchen or bar.

Game Suggestion: Allow City Travel While Owning a Business

Hi InZOI team! 👋
I’d like to suggest a feature related to city travel and business ownership.

Currently, when owning a business in a city (for example, my bakery in Dowon) I’m unable to travel to another city without selling the business. This forces me to give up my business just to visit or vacation in places like Cahaya Resort, which then resets all my business progress.

It would be great if:

➡️ Players could travel to other cities temporarily (weekends/vacation)
➡️ The business in the current city continues operating or pauses safely
➡️ Business progress, upgrades, and ownership are not reset
➡️ A system like “Leave Business Managed” or “Temporary Travel Mode” is added

This would make gameplay more realistic and enjoyable, allowing Zois to take breaks, travel, and explore without sacrificing long-term progress. Thanks for considering this suggestion! 💙✨

Recollecting Some Suggestions:

  • Like someone suggested, zois should check on their significant other or kids at home sometimes, like going to them and watching for a small bit.

  • We need to know what thought bubble images means, allow us the option to know when we click on it.

  • Remove teeth from babies (I know the roadmap said “improve teeth” for babies)

  • Someone suggested an apology interaction, I think that should be included.

  • Korea BBQ grilling together should be a thing ❤️ and I would also love making sushi and kimbap.

  • Adding Zoo and Aquarium would be fun to take the zoi’s kids there, instead of just the park and arcade.

  • I think it would be better for Zois to look like they are pullings inventory items from their pant’s pocket instead of the air.

  • When zois sees their friends they wave, so I wonder if we can have something similar but for enemies and romantic lovers? For enemies, zois might frown and cross their arms when a enemy is standing close by, and when it comes to romantic crushes, zois might blush when their crush passes by them. These things adds to details and immersive storytelling purposes.

Add fair ride povs, let it be animation instead of cutscene, and have the ability to included multiple zois in fair rides.

In the future, Fair rides and water slides should be animation, not cut scenes, so that players can switch between first person and third person to take photos of their zoi on the rides itself. Having it be like this, so we can see other zois get on the rides or waterslide. In the past, I also mentioned when npc ride the fair rides, the npc disappear and then reappear after the ride is done. I hope that you can actually see a npc on the fair ride instead of them disappearing into nothingness.

Transportation & Travel
Add emergency response services, including ambulances and fire trucks for accidents and disasters
It probably makes sense to add traffic accidents for clarity, because in the early builds traffic could hit your Zoi (but to death and this was turned off afterwards). There also used to be heated exchanges in traffic before v0.3.x, but they got bugged and were removed later (hopefully temporarily).

So I’m looking forward to when the lost traffic options get improved and restored.

Maybe it can be re-implemented in limited way early on, like surprise animation (like when you run into someone) for slow speed and falling down for faster speed and have a bad moodlet that requires some attention (or existing first aid kit) but not deadly.

And I also noticed from early footage that at the scene of a traffic accident a police officer used to appear with a fine slip poking Zoi offender with it, which felt pretty immersive. Possibly even for a parking violation, it’s unclear here, because from the footage it looks like you could park wherever you wanted. And yeah, despite how tricky it is in the moving traffic flow, I’d love to see more of this.

Design Proposal: Emotional Variance System
Goal: Create spontaneous social situations in public spaces based on a child’s personality traits, enhancing family drama and emotional storytelling.

  1. Presence and Activity (The Performer’s Presence):
    The clown appears in public squares or birthday events, performing acrobatics, making animal-shaped balloons, or simple magic tricks.
  2. Automatic Reaction Mechanic (The Reaction Logic):
    Instead of all children laughing, reactions are linked to the child’s traits:
    Social / adventurous child: runs toward the clown, laughs loudly, and asks for a balloon.
    (Happiness and energy points increase.)
    Shy / sensitive child: freezes in place, hides behind the mother or tightly holds the father’s hand, and may start crying if the clown comes too close.
    A fear or dread state appears.
  3. The Parenting Role:
    This is where family warmth and intervention come in:
    If the child is scared, a choice appears for the mother/father:
    Comfort the child or Carry the child away.
    We see an animation of the mother kneeling to the child’s level, hugging them, and explaining that the clown is just playing.
    This moment greatly strengthens the bond between parent and child.
  4. Character Memory (Long-term Memory):
    A child who was scared of the clown may refuse to visit the same park next time.
    Or an anxiet icon appears when they see colors similar to the clown’s outfit.

    Spontaneous interaction: when a child passes by, they begin pointing at the balloons. You can buy one and see the child walking while holding the balloon string.
    Spontaneous moment Balloon Flying Away: if the child lets go, the balloon floats into the sky of Dowon.

Fully support you on Amusement Park / Fair rides. IMO, Spider-Man 2 has the best implementation: you really feel the adrenaline, fireworks in the sky, carnival-dressed crowds below….

Overall, the Amusement Park definitely needs to rely on proper staging. I think the crowds there don’t need to be fully simulated, but rather staged into roles: give them popcorn, cotton candy, cute plushies, dress them in carnival stuff and glowing accessories, place them in lines for rides and street food, add a few major key figures, for example, as mentioned here, a clown and a park mascot.

And possibly even a park in Dowon? like Everland Theme Park in Seoul 💜?

Kjun, regarding to the bathing together

It would be nice to see the zois that’s bathing together help each other bathe just for extra romantic details. For example, the zoi from behind will help scrub the zoi in the front’s back with soap, and maybe, they should also massage their head with shampoo for immersive details. I think zois overall, needs to look like they are actually cleaning themselves while bathing and showering.

(Off topic: Dish soap and hand soap should have the ability to be clustered closer to the sink, because it’s more realistic that way)

More on Cars

  • Allow cars to break down over time, so we can repair the car and actually wash them.
  • Npc cars should honk when zois are disobeying traffic rules by standing in the middle of the road.
    (I need to read the roadmap again, but I am just gonna add this here for now 👆)

Add a Drive here and Teleport here ability on map for easier navigation

  • Someone already suggested this teleportation so I am suggesting it too. When Kjun added the teleportation for jobs, it was very helpful and I hope Kjun can also add that option to the map as well? On map, we should have ability to “Teleport here” or “Drive here” at any place. (Also allow ghosts to teleport using the map, PLEASE, because it’s very hard to travel as a ghost.)

  • Please add in realistic car physics like recoiling/bounce back, because InZOI’s car physics when colliding with walls pauses the car in unrealistic ways or when our car very slightly touch another car or wall, it restricts all movements of our car into a dramatic pause and the pause is very robotic. Age Stages Need Clearer Visual and Behavioral Definition
The age categories would benefit from clearer distinction both visually and dynamically —so each life stage is immediately recognizable and feels meaningful.
Toddler Stage (Missing Definition)
The toddler stage is currently unclear and feels too close to infancy.
This stage should represent:
• A child who has just started walking
• Unbalanced movement at first, gradually becoming steadier
• Messy eating, spilling food, touching and grabbing objects
• Accidental chaos that slowly decreases as the toddler grows
Visually, toddlers should no longer resemble babies, but also clearly not older children.
Growth during this stage should be visible over time:
• Walking becomes more confident
• Eating becomes cleaner
• Interactions become more intentional
Child → Pre-Teen → Teen
The transition from child to adolescent needs stronger visual separation:
• Pre-teen / middle-school age should look older than a child but clearly younger than a high school teen
• Body proportions, posture, and facial structure should reflect this in-between phase
• Behaviorally, this stage should feel more self-aware but still playful and awkward
Teen → University Age
University-age Zois should be visibly more mature than high school teens:
• Subtle changes in body build, posture, and presence
• More confident movement and social behavior
• A clearer step into adulthood rather than feeling like a costume change
Traits & Behavior Alignment
Personality traits should also express differently across age stages:
• The same trait (shy, social, reckless) should look and feel different in a toddler, a child, a teen, and a young adult
• This reinforces the sense of real growth, not just aging up

Ooo I like this! This is like the in-game brands in WatchDogs 2 where each boutique/clothing is a set of clothing available under that brand that you cant get anywhere else.

This would be so cool!

And giving modders the ability to create their own in-game brands and have their own stores would be really nicee! They can launch new collections via online and it uploads and stocks the store.

I like the idea of locking outfits once you leave CAZ too so youre forced to buy new clothing. But I wish there was a way to gift these items to others or resell them later and it unlocks for other zois who have it until they throw it away or resell it. Like in animal crossing.

I agree! Hopefully Amusement Park gets the love it deserves along with many things in InZOI. I would also love a amusement park for Dowon, since I been more active in Dowon recently. It’s sad to me that the all cities are limited, because I would like to see the beach in Dowon since Korea has a beach, but this would mean expanding the city. I believe you had suggested before how to do this without issues? Like a bridge to another city or something like that?

I hadn’t thought about it, but it seems that in the northern part of Dowon there’s also an area with business centers and just a bare little fair spot. And if the devs are gradually replacing the pre-made buildings, maybe that’s where a stage for K‑pop performances and an Amusement Park could fit better? Clearly, there are too many such buildings to replace across the city, and it might be simpler to layout an Amusement Park.

I also just want to suggest the ability for zois to sleep in their cars since we are getting the ability later to play as a zoi without needing to buy a home or lot.
But we could buy a car eventually and live out if it essentially. Parking it somewhere in the world and going to sleep there.

Hello, I think the game is great, but obviously there are many improvements to be made. The CAZ (Citizen's Animal Zone) needs a complete redesign; it should have outdoor outfits for each season, or the ability to remove down jackets and accessories, gloves, etc., when the Zoi is indoors at home. Also, the zoi do not get dressed immediately upon getting out of bed when they leave their home; they automatically put on their outdoor clothes.Having just one outfit for each category is too restrictive. I wanted to point out numerous glitches regarding scarves and the new winter outfits, as well as long hair with down jacket hoods; that's for the outfits.
Regarding the gameplay, the Zoi's dialogue is always the same regardless of the circumstances, which is quite annoying and irritating. The Zoi often go to a wardrobe other than the one in their room for no apparent reason, as there are no access issues, and they only go there occasionally.
The appearance of mature Zoi is far too pronounced; they look too old, with wrinkles that are too deep and too numerous. There are few differences between them and very old Zoi apart from their hair and posture. Regarding the posture of elderly people, why do they always have to be hunched over? Female Zoi always touch their shoes when they walk, and it's far too common...as well as the male Zoi who always move one shoulder as if they were preparing to throw a punch...Using umbrellas isn't practical; will it be possible for them to use them automatically when it rains? Why can't teenagers have romantic relationships with other teenagers? Regarding physical appearance, infants and young children have few, if any, differences, which is confusing...

Yeah I just feel if our households are the only ones using public pools/swimming in the ocean it just doesn't feel realistic to me. It seems weird to me that no npcs are swimming or surfing/playing and chatting in pools esp in summer when it's hot or in a island type map like Cahaya. I would think the beaches and pools would have npcs enjoying them together, but my Zois are the only ones who go in the water. Hopefully that changes.

Realistically during warmest part of the days esp in summer and on weekends beaches and public pools should have bigger crowds and npcs swimming. It makes no sense to have them in swim wear and no one uses the water. Also I agree with you about Zois having convos and looking for a chair.. okay that needs to get fixed because it is super annoying lol little details like this needs to be fixed.

I agree that toddlers and adolescents need an overhaul. It's jarring to see an infant/ toddler become a child because there is no difference between infants and toddlers. They go from a baby to looking like 7/8 year olds and then you have a 7/8 year old who turns into a Zoi who looks like a 16/young adult. There is no in between stages and it feels off. I really hope they change the heights and bodies of these two lifestages so it feels more natural.

Wow! I love the kiss on cheek, set the mood and bath together options. Please keep going in this direction! Can we also get a shower together animation?

I'm interested in the Caz filter. I don't think the style preset works great because it changes the zois face and skin color so I'm hoping the new Caz filter options will allow us to at least combine multiple canvas outfit items to create a new outfit. Example: I download two canvas outfits and I want my zoi to wear the shoes from the first canvas outfit and the tshirt from the second canvas outfit, I hope this will be possible.

Converting all buildings to customizable lots is awesome! Please allow us to set lots as a specific type (lounge, residential, bar, club, restaurant, business venue, etc).

Also with the introduction of the base lot value, please include the lot dimensions as a filter option in property presets and canvas.

Looking forward to the introduction of strollers 😊

Please refine the animation lengths for things like dancing, playing games and watching tv (allow us to decide how long the animation plays for because some are still too short). It's better if you add new animations with an infinite loop than if they are ready short in my opinion.

This is actually the first time I’m posting a comment here. I’m not very used to Discord and, with age, one tends to stay a bit discreet… but to hell with age, I’ve kept my childlike soul, so here I go 🙂

Here is a gameplay idea I would really love to see in inZOI:

Our Zois can already enjoy cocktails, and I would love it if they could also drink local beverages like soju, for example in Dowon. Alcoholic drinks, of course with a reminder that excessive alcohol consumption is dangerous for your health, but also with real in-game effects. Euphoria, unsteady walking, different behaviors depending on personalities. Some Zois could become more cheerful and festive, while others might turn aggressive and even start fights.

It would also be interesting to see consequences. Effects on health, and even arrest or prison for public drunkenness for the most aggressive Zois. This would make nights out at clubs or karaoke bars so much more fun and unpredictable.

Maybe this could be added later as a 16+ or 18+ DLC, for players who might feel less comfortable with this type of gameplay 🙂

This video is such a great example of how alive NPCs can feel. What really stood out is how they seem to act independently — reacting to their surroundings, interacting naturally with each other, and filling the world with believable “background life” instead of just standing around.

Seeing NPCs behave like they have their own routines and awareness would fit InZOI’s realistic life-sim vision perfectly.

Even small ambient behaviors like this add so much immersion and make the world feel lived in. Would love to see inspiration like this influence InZOI’s NPC systems 🥰

I’d like to suggest baby carriers! And since it’s planned to add more interactions while holding a baby, I’ll suggest a few options. Being on the phone while holding the baby with arm. Cooking while holding the baby. Doing laundry while holding a baby. Also I noticed in the list of new things for infants and toddlers that high chairs aren’t in there so I’d like to suggest that as well so we can feed them various baby foods. And if we could get teething rings for them as well

I really need age up cheat. When I am creating a zoi, sometimes I forget to change the life stage and now I am stuck with younger zoi, so I have to recreate the zoi from scratch again..

Edit: I think my zoi keeps turning to adolescent even though I turn them to adult during creation… why 😭

Could we get more CAZ sliders? It has been a long time since we have gotten structural, cosmetic changes to help make unique and interesting characters outside of clothing/hair options.

Specifically, I'd love the options to expand the width of the top of the neck and to tilt/flare the nostrils.

Teeth options are also a must!

Finally, I'd really love strength-based/body builder poses in CAZ.

I hope along with regular bikes we can get double seated bikes as well (Tandem bikes) and that we have the option to customize them with led lights and baskets in the front.
Also training wheels ( if they choose to use them) for children bikes.
I've asked a few time for this but rollerskating and roller blading, this would be a fun form of getting around the city if our zois don't have vehicles d. It should also work as a skill as well

We need a day-care for toddlers or functioning babysitters, in the weekend it can be teenagers. Functioning housekeepers and regular once that are programmed to come to the homes regularly for rich and lazy zois. Zoi should have the options to put toddlers in daycare or have a daycare bussiness. Business owning a artistic shop or antic shops able to physically sell their painting too and crafts in their shops and gems, jewelery stores 😌

I see that the Inzoi team has mentioned working on grocery shopping. I think it would be a great idea for multiple Zoi’s to be able to shop together. For example, two adult Zois in the same household shopping with two different carts or the same cart. Child Zoi’s could also have the option to add things to the cart(s) like candy. At checkout, the adult Zoi’s could have the option to use the same household funds or separate accounts once individual bank accounts are introduced to Inzoi. Also, it would be realistic to have different aisles for different types of food that Zoi’s can browse through. When you’re in the middle of the aisle each shelf could be clickable where a menu pops up with each food from that specific shelf. Or a freezer with meat would have a menu with different meats that will pop up once you click on the freezer. Just some food for thought, no pun intended (maybe)! ♥️

We desperately need more items for babies, toddlers, and children so far we only have a slide, some toys, and some basic furniture but we also need:

  • toddlers to sit in high chairs
  • A stool for kids to use the sink (don't remember if we already have this)
  • Functional electric Baby milk warmers
  • Cribs that come from buy mode and can be customized
  • Automatic bouncy chairs for babies
  • Baby monitors would be cool too as long as its an actual functional item
  • More children playground obstacle courses
  • Remote control toys car and maybe kids can get together and race their cars together

To the development and creative management teams at KRAFTON,
I am writing this report as a future console player who is particularly interested in the release of InZOI on PlayStation 5, in order to express my sincere gratitude for the remarkable work you have done on this project.
Since its initial presentations, InZOI has generated a great deal of excitement thanks to its ambitious visual identity, simulation depth, and the freedom it promises players. The attention to detail, the modern engine, and the creative vision of your teams demonstrate that this is a game designed to evolve and grow over the long term.
The main reason for this request is to submit a request regarding the opening up and support of mods for console players, specifically on PlayStation 5, from the game's release or in its future developments.
Although I am not yet an active PS5 player—the game is not yet available on this platform—this request is part of a desire to anticipate the console experience and contribute, as a future member of the community, to its enrichment.
The benefits of mods for console players
The integration of mods on PS5 would offer many benefits, both for players and for InZOI itself:

I don’t know if I remember wrong or not, but I heard there can be stalker in InZOI before, but if there are stalkers, can our zois actually realize they are being stalked after the stalker shows suspicious behaviors? This way, we know what’s happening 😅 otherwise, I would think it’s just a glitch. Can stalker have a sneak animation to look at our windows if they plan to stalk at night so it can look more suspicious? We should be able to report stalkers to court or call police on them, where the the police takes them away.

Others hoped to see citywide decorations for big holidays like Halloween or Christmas, with NPCs wearing themed outfits. The team worked on this but couldn’t perfect it in time. Still, we’ll keep improving it each year by adding new seasonal ideas.
But unfortunately, it isn’t listed in the roadmap. It’s likely that part of the system will come with the calendar.

The new animations look great. The latest release was a mixed bag for me. I never got a message for the Holiday Festival, so I never received a single holiday item. The booths to buy gift boxes didn't work either. Sometimes they were there, but I could only buy coffee. Other times there was an attendant, but they just stood in front of a closed sign..... also please make items available for your account instead of an individual family. Other comments:

  • I liked owning a business, but there are times where the employee doesn't do any work and may decide not to wear their uniform. Maybe allow us to directly control the employee?
  • The door restriction don't work anymore. NPCs/employees can walk through doors that have Zoi only or Family only restrictions set.
  • Crowd control - seems like venues are less lively than they were. It may be okay to have only 3 or 4 Zois at a small shop, but it is a bit boring to go to a club that is mostly empty. The djs/attendants don't bother to show up most of the time either. I would like to have a slider for each property to set the number of visitors (accommodate high end systems)... and increase group size from 4 to 8 so a large family can do things together.
  • Would like to have custom color pallets to save for build mode and Canvas Zoi creations.
  • Teens are still pretty much ignored - they are stuck in a school rabbit hole all day during the week and then get to go home and do homework... would like to see an option for a teen club/hangout that you could build on a business lot and remove some of the age restrictions... allow teens to use dj equipment, etc.

Some have issues with babysitters that started to understand that if they come or not they can get money through a system. So zois refuse to come and take care of babies or toddlers ! The day care option does not exist anymore, it's not ok to leave toddlers by themselves at home

Is it just me? Watching the Zois converse, I get the feeling that the animations and dialogue are similar across all menus. The dialogue should feel distinct from menu to menu, but I don't know if it's the voice actors' lack of acting skills or the lack of dialogue, but I get the feeling that the acting lacks variety. Each dialogue should showcase two or three different acting skills.

Yes, I’ve been thinking about this since day one, and I’m still imagining it (unfortunately)… same as with the Watch Dogs 2 mechanics (apparently I wasn’t the only one, since even life‑sim–oriented inZOI partners also referenced these titles).

But to make it work, the boutique and clothing purchase mechanics need to be refined (as well as seasonal gift shops, etc., instead of FOMO events), and it should also be connected to MyBusiness and Trends, so that players don’t see it as just a placeholder for when they get bored, ensuring the core mechanic has standalone value. (strangely, in action games this is a core element the game can’t exist without, but in life sims it’s considered non‑essential).

Someone mentioned expansion of movie theaters to where the movie is specific to the movie theaters and only available AT the movie theaters and not on regular zoi tvs.

The introduction of inzoi lore through the movies (like if inzoi develops specific characters throughout the city who are famous or do a movie about the cats who run the ar company) but having designed characters that are famous makes the movies and celebrities much more memorable.

There's that one prisoner at blissbay who's locked up there maybe there could be more lore or a movie done about him

Making highquality videos for the movies is important too. Regular TV shows on the zoi TV seem choppy so having the movie theaters have good quality and a storyline that even the players would like to watch would be important

Lastly, having posters of the new movies inside the theater. Making a set of movies that only appear on certain days so it's not the same movies repeated every day. also advertisements for the movies on the billboards

I was also looking at the movie theater that we do have but that's being worked on and I'm thinking maybe they can model some chairs with cup holders and have elevated seatings.

Like storyline Zoi movies. There I wrote about immersion, visual presentation, and screening exclusively filmed movies in theaters. But the full experience can be achieved including a film industry update in the game, when we can shoot our own movies using in‑game (Cinematic, Director) tools and host premieres. I hope Kjun noted this and will consider the tool, since it’s important not only in the context of cinema, but also for machinima production.

I’d like to suggest the option again for classes to be offered in prison. Like anger management, parenting skills, conflict resolution and maybe even an office for therapy.
A woodworking shop and possibly a metal one would be nice to add onto having laundry and sewing

I have some ideas for the kpop idols career and other aspects of entertainment

  1. A filming set should be added where we can record music videos and hold photoshoots, with the ability to customize the set to our taste. There should also be an option to skip this feature for those who don’t want to use it.

  2. Equipment for recording studios should be added for those who want to build an agency or for independent artists with in-house studios. Additionally, a recording studio should be added to Adams Entertainment.

These features are not currently on the map, but I wanted to suggest them so you can keep them in mind for future development.

  1. Acting careers should be based in Blissbay, while K-pop idol careers remain in Dowon. Other career paths could also be included, such as screenwriting, directing, and other careers related to this fields.

  2. I’d also like to suggest that a future city be more fashion and art forward. This city could include fashion and art schools, designer agencies, and model agencies, allowing Zois who want to pursue modeling careers to move there. Cities like Paris or New York City (particularly Manhattan) would be ideal, and could allow for events like the Met Gala.

I have written this before but I don't you saw so I am reposting so you don't miss it. It is some features I'd love to see in the kpop idol update

  1. Add solo debut opportunities for trainees and fame level, and each levels get various perks. For example Level 1 idols perform on the street to gain fans. Level 2, perform on stage during promotions (music shows), Level 3 can host fan meetings, while the highest level of the idol career get to host concerts in various cities and get brand deals.

  2. Adams Entertainment should be the major agency; trainees debuting there get better dorms and perks like zero trainee debt, but lower chances of being taken as trainees or even debuting.

  3. Introduce audition process where only people with at least level 1 in singing and dancing is accepted as trainees (those with higher levels get accepted faster) and this can be done from home by sending a video to the agency, rather than applying for it like any other job.

  4. Add a small agency with only one successful idol (group or soloist) debuting there means fewer perks(trainee debt) and slower growth, but faster chance of debut.

  5. Include the option to build and run our own agencies.

  6. Add events like award shows.

  7. Introduce other careers: paparazzi, news stations where idols can do interviews for promotion.

  8. Include NPC idols (top girl group, top boy group, soloists) with ongoing storylines: dating rumors, lawsuits, members leaving groups, etc

  9. Adams agency needs to be redesigned, there should be floors dedicated to trainees, another one for idols and the other for the admin. Going to work everyday and hearing trainees screech all day is not fun.

Just a few things for city liveliness.
Adding garbage trucks that pick up the big containers we have on a specific day of the week. And if our containers get full before the garbage gets picked up then we can pile the bags next to the container.
Having children around the city, I feel like I barely see child zois around which I find a bit odd, so I’m hoping that’s something that can be tweaked. They could walk home with their friends or in small groups. I also think it would be nice if children and teens could go to the library or cafes ( more for teens) to do their homework rather than always going straight home. And for more outdoorsy zois they could sit on a bench or under a tree and do their homework on a laptop or textbook.
I also was like to see children play at the playgrounds and have more equipment there too.
Also having duos or small groups of people running together ( and biking once we get functional bikes)

Having snowball fights and building igloos

The option to make a wish at fountains and actually have the change accumulate over time

Absolutely. Unfortunately, full simulation of all Zois and story progression in the city has been turned off (it was there earlier up to v0.3–0.4, and I was really upset about that while everyone was excited). And from the code that can be checked in ModKit, a crowd spawner for Zois aged 14 to 91 was added, but without context (only nighttime multiplier 0.2 and some job-related exceptions). In v0.5, family clustering was partially added, though only conversations in the park during an event.

We really need to ask the team to improve group clustering and movement, including families and couples, and also stage group activities at POI (lots) (for example, sitting on a bench with a stroller while watching kids play on the playground, etc). It doesn’t have to be full real‑time simulation, but programming certain areas for specific group behavior patterns is a must‑have.

They say that if you can keep something going without breaking for about two months, it becomes much more sustainable after that. If you’re doing well so far, hang in there just a little longer. After the two-month mark, your actions stop relying purely on willpower and start becoming habits—making it much easier to reach your goals.
I’ll also keep moving forward without stopping this communication with you all. 😄
This week as well, we received many opinions and suggestions about the future direction of development.
From the community, there were strong requests for improvements across a wide range of areas: in-game family, romance, crime systems, graphics, interface, genetics, NPC behavior, and many everyday life–oriented features.

Animation Improvements
We’ve seen a lot of positive feedback about the recent updates, especially the animations where couples bathe together and the expanded affection animations. Thank you so much.
Many of you mentioned that the new animations significantly improve immersion and make emotional expression feel more natural.
The inZOI team is also working on adding group activities, simultaneous interactions, and stroller features. We’re currently testing interactions where babies can be seated and moved while remaining interactive, and this looks technically feasible.
Limited “walking together” features are also in development so families can move as a group. In addition, we’ll continue expanding affectionate interactions between family members—such as kissing, hugging, and comforting one another.

Genetics System
There were many discussions around improving the genetics system. Currently, some players feel that children don’t properly inherit their parents’ facial features, and that mismatches in gender-based face presets can result in repetitive, “clone-like” appearances.
Suggestions included blending facial features by individual parts, introducing dominant and recessive genetic traits, and reflecting regional genetic characteristics.
At the moment, our system intentionally includes randomness so children don’t look 100% like their parents—but we’ll revisit this and see how we can improve it.

Daily Life & Interface Improvements
Many of you suggested features such as adjustable action duration (for example, avoiding repeated reading actions), click-and-drag interactions (for trash, dishes, etc.), and UI locking options.
With some foundational tech work, most of these seem feasible. In particular, we plan to implement action duration settings in a unified way across all interactions that involve looping motions—allowing actions to continue by default and be stopped at the player’s discretion.
We also received requests related to CAZ (Character Creation), such as separating outfit and makeup presets, expanding body and face customization options, and adding voice tone controls.
Voice tone adjustment is already planned for this year and is currently in the design phase, so we believe it can be developed without too much delay.

NPCs & Social Interaction
Many of you want NPCs to feel more natural and alive, with more random animations, conversations, lively street life, and stronger interactions with family and friends.
There were also suggestions for multiple Zois meeting and interacting within the same city, group conversations, and synchronized movement.
We are actively challenging ourselves with simultaneous movement features. To be honest, there are many technical difficulties, so progress has been slower than we’d like. Still, I really want Zois to walk together, hold hands, and move as a group—and we’ll do our best to make it happen. We’ll get there.

Crime & Career System Improvements
There were many requests to rebalance criminal careers and activities—such as success rates, rewards, police pursuit, and more realistic reactions to arrests and prison escapes.
You also suggested expanding crime content with mini-games, hideouts, and bribery systems.
Wow—there were so many ideas about crime, and they’re incredibly useful for us going forward. Thank you. As a developer, crime systems are something I personally want to explore a lot.
One idea discussed within the inZOI planning team really stood out to me: when a criminal steals something, they leave footprints or traces behind. If you erase your traces, it becomes harder for the police to track you.
On the other hand, if a thief breaks into your home and you find evidence and report it, the police can arrest them faster.
Sounds fun, right? 😄
There were also requests for adding police careers, more realistic traffic systems, improved driving, and ambulance responses to accidents.

City & Environment Content Expansion
Suggestions included city-specific cultural identity systems, seasonal decorations, more active amusement parks, expanded movie theater features, and natural disasters like storms and heatwaves.
Many of you also mentioned city expansions inspired by K-pop culture and Japanese Akihabara-style districts.
We’re continuing to add more land to cities, and if optimization tests show this doesn’t significantly impact performance, we plan to keep expanding features like drive-in theaters and amusement parks.
By the end of this year, I think you’ll be seeing a lot more city content.

Other Major Requests
Underwater swimming and scuba diving, with WASD underwater controls
Improved appearances, behaviors, and interactions for babies, toddlers, and children
An in-game music player and support for custom music
Ongoing discussions and requests around adult content such as crime, drinking, and smoking
Console and Mac support, mod support plans, and related questions
Expanded jobs and careers, including K-pop idols, fashion, crime, fishing, and more
Stronger in-game social media, conversation, and phone features

Being able to hear your voices on Discord again this week really gives me strength.
More than any words in the world, what you say about inZOI means the most to me.

these are all so great! ik city development comes with optimisation concerns but i still believe the density of cities should be a setting players can choose for their systems! and you can choose what buildings you have in each city! like if you have a theatre, a huge shopping centre, airport, etc etc. id also love to see places of worship maybe? im not religious myself but i think allowing people to create zois that are is cool too, especially because it can tie in with their schedules allowing them to have scheduled prayers or religious events like diwali and vaisakhi for example! im also very excited for expanded travelling systems and think that feature should alos be a setting toggle feature so that players with systems that can handle it can have a real in depth experience if they want and that players whose systems cant can stick to the rabbithole! same with all rabbitholes and shells! i think that allowing for players to choose whether something is a rabbithole or shell to accommodate for their systems hardware is a great feature to include because that way everyone gets the best of both worlds getting to choose whether they want to incorporate graphic intensive features to their world or not!

✨ The “distance culling” feature is extremely frustrating. Zois and vehicles constantly disappear after a certain distance. Could you please provide an on/off option for players who have high-end systems? Previously, you mentioned that you would discuss this issue with the team and work toward a solution, but there has still been no progress. In the weekly Q&A sessions, could you please give a more detailed answer regarding “distance culling”? When can we expect an optional distance culling feature to be implemented?

‼️🚨 Please prioritize this feature in your yearly plans. It seriously harms immersion and overall fluidity. This “distance culling” system undermines the open-world concept, which is one of the core pillars of the inZOI world. I will be waiting for your response.

All of these sound great! Expanding the city boarder for more lots, criminal hide outs and police chases sound great! I think more adult content like drinking and smoking is great too since alot of us have grown up with the sims but now that we're adults, some of us want more content like that too, it'll be great for story telling / giving zoi's that small bit more personality. I think for drinking, if zoi's drank too much, they could stumble and have an aura (like Zoi's do when they sleep walk) around them would be cool too 🙂

Another feature I think that would be great to add is custom make up, select layers, their colour, glossiness and paint it directly onto the Zoi's face anywhere. This could also work with tattoo's if it expanded to "paint anywhere on the body".

Here are some things that are so inconvenient that they need to be improved as soon as possible (I can't even count how many times I've already written this):

  1. Auto-lighting (please!)

  2. Start conversations while standing instead of looking for a chair.

  3. Interactions should loop infinitely until you click to cancel (the animation is too short).

  4. If you own a car, give it priority when moving.

  5. Allow free editing of land without having to relocate family members.

  6. I turned off "Free Will" in the options, but it keeps turning on.

Please fix these first.

id also love more modular things ans customisation! making all furniture modular: choosing which handles, doors, and shelves a cupboard might have; the kind of framing or moulding a wall (ceiling and floor), door, and window might have; the type of bedpost and frame a bed might have; deciding what shape, design, and colour a pillow might have, how cushioned it is! also being able to choose patterns and colours separately from each other in caz and in build mode! sims 4 added modular jungle gyms and i think that was one of the coolest things theyve ever done but inzoi is already on the path of allowing much more customisation and modular options for a wide range of things and i think the game would be much cooler with it!!! (ps: does anybody else miss reacting? i miss reacting to things i agreed with since replying yes to everything is just impossible, especially with the cooldown, how will the people know i agree with their takes!!!)

Genetics: Glad to hear issues with the genetics system are now at least being talked about by the dev team. Zoi children often look like their parent's twin. While this does happen in real life, it's not that common. I hope the genetics system becomes more of a priority later this year.

Distance Culling: Like another commenter stated "Could you please provide an on/off option for players who have high-end systems?". This absolutely needs to get addressed some time this year. It seriously interferes with driving, especially at higher speeds.

Underwater Swimming: I consider this a lower priority considering there isn't much to do underwater anyway other than explore. What would be a better focus is to have NPC Zois autonomously swim around in the water. It would make the beach feel more alive/realistic.

Animation Improvements: One thing I hope is on the devs radar this year is to address the robotic lifelessness of the Zois at times. Zois still often don't move their mouths when speaking, they don't blink their eyes enough and their eyebrows rarely move. It is important for Zois to have very expressive faces and even a bit of exaggerated movements. Hi Kjun, thank you for your response. I'm not sure if you entirely understood the feedback on genetics or whether some stuff got lost in translation.

To clarify: we don't want kids that look 100% like one or the other parent. Right now the genetics system creates kids that are 100% a clone of one or the other parent (either their male or female preset). Please fix this so we get new faces with each generation, which are a blended mixture of both parents + some small mutations for uniqueness. We want to see a resemblance to the parents, but not a full clone of 1 singular parent.

That + making sure the 'genderswap' doesn't result in entirely different faces are very important fixes needed for legacy gameplay. Glad you are revisiting this matter.

This just occurred to me: I think it would be nice if the "Ambition" UI window was visible right away when setting up the UI. Currently, "Ambition" is only visible in ZOICARD, and not directly in the UI window. Having the challenges you want to tackle right in front of you will motivate players and increase immersion. I felt like something was missing when I looked at the UI settings, and I think this is precisely why.

Omg firstly thanks Kjun, these ideas are awesome, I love the crime traces idea!

Also, a drive in movie theater would be phenomenal! I can already imagine driving to pick up my friends, going to a drive thru to get food, putting down the roof to a covertible and watching a movie together while eating in the car (with a chance of a friend spilling their food or drink and forcing me to have to clean the car later). This would be SO COOL!

I’m really happy to hear you want to have zois hold hands and walk together /as a group and that it’s being worked on. Happy to hear Romance and affection will be expanded upon too! I’m really glad that looping animation is in the works since a good few of us have been asking about it more recently.
Regarding voice tone I’m also curious if we are going to get accents? I noticed one of the zois on the tv has an English accent and I think it would be pretty cool to have added in caz as well. I’m excited to hear the you’re working on expanding cities as I feel there’s so much that could be added to them, I also like to drive around the city so more area to drive around is great for me. and since delivery jobs, postal worker and delivery couriers are planned, I think this is also great news for that as well. Super stoked to hear about amusement parks getting expanded as well cause there’s so much that can be added to make it really fun. ( I also hope that the bumper cars can be made functional as well as a few others parts of the park that aren’t functional yet).
I’m really glad that you acknowledged we want more adult content like drinking and smoking. Since we now have the option to make drinks it’s only natural that they eventually have an effect on our zois if they drink too much or just if they’re a lightweight lol so I really hope we can have that added. As far as smoking goes I would love to see it in base game or even an adult themed dlc rather than relying on mods later on. So if it’s possible to add that somehow I would be really grateful 🙏🏼

Proposal for inZOI: Real Life, Real Connections
I suggest adding these features to make the game feel more alive and realistic:

  1. The Real Delivery Experience No more magic!
    Waiting & Tracking: When you order something, it shouldn’t just appear. You should wait a little and see the delivery driver moving on the map toward your house.
    The Doorbell Moment: The delivery person NPC actually comes to your door and knocks. Your Zoi has to go and open the door to take the order.
    Hand-to-Hand Interaction: We want to see the Zoi actually taking the bag or box from the driver's hand. You can pay cash, sign for it, or give a tip.
    Living Sounds: The house feels alive when the dog barks at the door or when you hear the delivery bike driving away.
  2. The Full Restaurant Experience
    Real Waiters: When you sit at a restaurant, a waiter should walk to your table and give you a physical menu. You don't just click buttons on a screen.
    Serving Food: The waiter goes to the kitchen and then brings the food to your table. Seeing the waiter place the plates in front of you makes the meal feel special.
    Social Vibe: You can talk to the waiter or watch them serve other people. The restaurant feels like a real place with real people.

Love everything here, the team is doing a great job. Seeing that more family interactions are being discussed, it’d be so nice to ground children - teens. For example: whenever a teen zoi does the overspend interaction on the computer, the parents should be notified and furious with them resulting in them being grounded. Stuff like that would breathe life into the game!

First of all, thank you to you and the team for the continuous work and care you put into InZOI. It’s clear that a lot of attention is given to both the game and the community, and that is very appreciated.

I would like to share some suggestions focused on expanding the Idol career, building directly on what is already implemented in the game.

At the moment, the Idol career has a strong foundation. Zois can progress through three trainee levels, training singing, dancing, gymnastics, studying languages, watching training videos, and improving overall performance, from beginner trainee to senior trainee. This system works well, but currently ends before debut becomes possible.

The idea is to extend the career from this point, expanding the existing system rather than replacing it.

Idol Career Expansion

Add a debut stage after senior trainee, based on overall performance, dedication, and preparation

Allow debut as part of a group or as a solo artist

Introduce a fame progression system, where higher levels unlock new activities such as:

small or local performances

music show appearances

fan meetings

larger concerts

brand or promotional opportunities

Reputation influencing career progress, opportunities, and setbacks

More interactive performances, where player choices during shows affect audience response

Activities like tours, interviews, collaborations, and special events

Expanded creative options such as music releases, choreography, music videos, and stage outfits

Agencies

Agencies with different sizes and characteristics, offering varied advantages

A more immersive audition process connected to the current training mechanics

Managers, dorms, and support systems that scale with career progression

In the future, the option to create and manage a player-run agency

City Districts

It could also be interesting for the city to include districts with stronger entertainment-related identities, such as:

areas centered around agencies and trainees

youth-focused districts with dance and street performances

high-profile districts linked to established artists, fashion, and media

This would help reinforce the connection between the Idol career and the city itself.

Established NPC Idols

Another idea is to include established NPC Idols who already exist in the world as well-known artists:

Groups and solo artists with their own songs, choreographies, and concepts

Visible presence in the city through events, media, and locations

Fan-related items such as albums, posters, lightsticks, outfits, and merchandise

These characters could help give the city more background and continuity, while also serving as references or inspiration for player Zois.

Overall, the goal is to expand the Idol career into a long-term progression path that connects training, performance, and city life in a natural way, while staying consistent with the systems already in place.

I've already posted on the forum, but I'd also like to mention a problem I and other players who rotate through the game are having.
Maybe we're a minority of players, but it would be nice to have a satisfying game.
The Zoi mortality rate in the city is too high. Zoi, both from in-game families and from predefined families or NPCs, are dying at a shocking rate, and they're all young. This is completely unrealistic and should be better considered. It really ruins the game.
A slider could also be added so everyone can choose how many domestic accidents they're willing to have in their stories. Death by slipping on wet floors is worse than the famous Biblical plagues 🙂
I don't want to make Zoi immortal or completely rule out adverse fate, but one of my teenage Zoi has received three death alerts in three days in the last few days, resulting in depression. That seems a bit excessive to me.

Hello, Have you noticed that the zoi in the CAZ their feet do not touch the ground? This is visible a lot when they are barefoot.
The physical differences between the age groups are not okay, infant and very small very few differences except perhaps for the infant a slightly smaller size, but it is especially between middle age and old, middle age has as many wrinkles and also marked and deep only the color of the hair differs and the posture outside middle age must correspond from 40 years old and the faces are not so marked! moreover we cannot act on the wrinkles in the CAZ and the tone of the little it would be good if that could be possible. thank you for this game, courage to the teams working on it, I hope my posts will be read...😉

If you play with large families, however, it's very likely that at least one member of the family is always at home or that they're playing in different lots. And while they're at home, or elsewhere, they need to be able to complete the activities I've queued for them. For example, if I'm playing with a parent, I occasionally check in on the kids who are doing homework, or who are at a friend's house, or something else. If we freeze everything that isn't the lottery we're playing, it becomes a disaster.

Like my zoi keep cooking when they just made food and not eating the food they just cooked, zoi don't prioritize leftovers. If there is food on the table zoi shouldn't go to the fridge for food. Zoi should prioritize leftovers. Food that is already on the table. And Zoi should stop cooking if they're not hungry. We should have an option for group meals when one zoi is making a group meal. No one else tries to cook or open the fridge at all unless their hunger is on red. And they ask for food interactions shouldn't be random. I should have the option to choose the food. Or cooking the food. as well. I love this interaction just need to be improved

Having a history with playing the sims and sim city, we thought how awesome it would be if the two were mashed together. When adding amenities to a neighborhood the Zois would love it or hate it which would bring the overall Zois satisfaction of the world they live in or home they live in. It would affect their overall quality of life. Wouldn't it be nice if the Zois would respond to things around them? Even when adding or taking the things away from their home, it would signal them to communicate to the player if they appreciate it or not & that would give the player more incentive to give them more of what they want. Or not depending on the players style ☺️I think that would also allow the Player more immersive gameplay and an overall connection to their Zoi (s)🤔 i hope you can understand what I'm trying to communicate. There's a ton of grammatical errors here😫

Hello !! Thank you for the weekly update. I'm def begging y'all to investigate the genetics system. It doesn't feel random 😭 it def feels like children are coming out as copies of one parent instead of a blend of both.
It doesn't have to be perfect, genetics aren't perfect 😂 im just begging for a blend. Or even taking physical traits from extended family (grandparents, aunts, uncles). A funny irl example is that I've always been told I resembled one of my aunts rather than my parents 😂 that's just how weird genetics can be sometimes. It would be nice to experience that in game.

Kjun thank you! I am beyond glad to see you guys are working on affectionate interactions between family members! I felt this was really lacking and adding this brings us that "connection" I wanted since the start. I do love the new bathing option for couples and hope couples get more intimate romance interactions. I was hoping we would see npcs getting to swim in public pools and the beaches though. Really hope that gets added because I feel it is unrealistic they don't swim. I started playing as a criminal and one thing I hope to see is that to expand for example if my Zoi walks into a store no matter what time they should be able to steal anything, or take it a step further by allowing them to steal cars or break into homes and rob houses when npcs are gone or asleep. When we get a walk in theater we should be able to sneak in. I want to see more details on that. As for infants I would love to see parents being able to teach them to walk, talk and of course parents able to read to them like bedtime stories, tucking in bed with a kiss and for infants to have walkers, option to use baby bath, changing tables and I would like seeing a infant develop over time gaining skills and becoming a realistic toddler that can eventually run, dance and learn from their parents or older siblings. I hope to get full controller support since I saw that mentioned and more group activities such as watching tv together. I noticed lot of activity you can do with another Zoi many times fails to work and so I feel group activity needs improvement.

We need gradual leveled floors for movie theater seats, when I made my movie theater lot it was so hard to do this without taking up so much space in the room, because each split foundation needed ample space to place the chairs as well. So I'm hoping they fix the tile placements of objects into smaller increments, but also better pathing for zois to maneuver tight spaces.

Some of the chairs are too big and doesn't have correct seating per agent. Because when I see zois at night clubs it's like two to a seat when zois should sit at least 6 people on one couch D:

Your food delivery is so cool. My only suggestion would be to give the player in all to receive their order in hand or leave by their door in the app. It would be immersive to see delivery people with those big square backpacks and driving and scooters. Also, the food can be delivered in brown paper bags with handles so they can be distinguished from parcels. When the Zoi actually eats their food they should eat it out of takeout containers.

Food delivery could even be an active part time career as well. It could even be a job seniors could do.

Yes. The roadmap has plans for interviews for the player (jobs that your Zoi applies for), but I'm referring to hiring NPCs who want to work for your business (other Zois who want to work for you, so they can submit applications to you).

For example... You check your phone and there's a notification saying "Someone wants to work for your business— Here are their qualifications" & It will be a stranger/ an entirely new Zoi, and you can choose whether or not you want to hire them to work for you.

Right now, you can only hire Zois that you know.

I would love it if the native zoi's in each world spoke with a slightly different zoi-lish accent and our zoi's could learn different languages with each language being a different 5 level skill. The more your zoi speaks with native townies the faster their skills improve and they could also learn new languages through the computers. I really agree with this idea I love any idea that adds immersion to the content already in the game so this would be amazing!🙌

-Also loved what kjun discussed about jobs having to have job interviews with the higher paying jobs being a little more of an extensive hiring process!

  • Give us the townie jobs!!: I hope in the future our zoi's can work at any of the stores we see any townies working at like any clothing store, any premade club just all of the premade lots where townies work. Opening up these jobs with simple tasks would be a simple way to add immersion and give us more freedom and our zois would have to apply to that store or club specifically like any other career.

  • Making all rabbithole careers active: It would be cool to have careers like the News Reporter, Plutos financial, the Lawyer career, and the football career all become simple active careers with an assigned property for each career along with it. There's really cool deco already in the game that could be used for the news reporter job and the business careers can be in a tall building with simple tasks and a system to climb up the ranks in each specific field✨

  • The football career would be especially fun to make active just having tasks like warm up drills, exercise, tossing the ball with players and maybe the actual game days can be a rabbithole trip where the working zoi can come back home with either a loss or a win. They will be "elated" coming back home from winning or "somber" coming back home after a lose and also an option to bring any family members or friend they want.

  • The game developer career would also be cool to actually see the zoi's sitting at their desks at an actual place while having simple tasks to complete.
    All in all, ALL of the careers should be active even if just simple tasks, having an actual location for each job would enhance immersion by a ton and make careers way more fun for us.

  • Also please increase the pay!!!

Disabling reactions to messages is really inconvenient.
True, there's the option to "reply," like the old "quote" feature on forums, but it's also annoying due to Slow Mode.
If some users have abused it, it should be disabled for them, not for everyone.
Most players won't bother replying and posting, and feedback will be significantly reduced.

Not a direct response to anything Kjun said, but I just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying some of the features in the new update. Being able to multitask in so many different ways - some of them pretty unexpected - is great. I like the 'groups' feature although I haven't had a chance to fully try it out yet. And the new crime system is a great start, though it still needs quite a bit of work.

However, the thing that's made the biggest difference for me is furniture performance levels. I started a save where a poor single father with two kids, living in a small, crappy apartment, ended up taking out a loan from a shady company and turned to crime to keep up the payments. Having the Zois constantly get 'uncomfortable' from the poor-quality furniture really helped make it feel like they actually needed the money rather than just roleplaying it. Definitely an underrated feature in terms of gameplay incentives.

With the ability to take our infant and toddler Zois out of the house via strollers in the near future it dawned on me the need for certain accessories.

What happens when the baby/toddler soils their diaper? I think there should be an option to buy a portable changing mat would be a great idea. Also, some public restrooms should have pull down changing tables.

Another item that would be cool would be a diaper gene. It's a product that's essentially a diaper trash bin. I noticed that every time a Zoi changes their baby/toddler they leave the diaper on the floor. Within a certain radius the Zoi could toss the diapers in the diaper gene.

Since there's discussions brewing for smoking, more violent/criminal interactions. Can I ask for guns ? 👀🌚I totally understand if it's against the age rating tho 😭 I just like chaos and more lethal interactions. It's fun ramming people with cars sometimes in the game, but some more chaotic stuff would be fun 😂 I def love the police pursuit idea !! Omg !! I have another idea. Warrants !! If you don't pay your fines for your misdemeanors within a certain amount of time, the police should have a warrant for your arrest and arrest your Zoi's at home. I would love to have a "report" option. Rather than your Zoi autonomously reporting a crime, I would love to have a smartphone option to report as a way to frame another Zoi. I would love to see npc Zoi's acting more real. Such as them stealing, fighting, mugging, being romantic, etc. I guess what im trying to get at is for my Zoi's to feel like they are in the world, not the center of it. I want to see other Zoi's grow up and move on with their lives. I know you addressed this in one of the weekly updates but this is def something that's needed. I would love a story progression option. I don't like having to babysit my Zoi's extended family. I would love to be invited to birthday, weddings, baby showers, business opening, etc.

And yes the warrant for arrest is great, especially if they’re wanted for murder for example the police could put up flyers and maybe even put your zois picture on billboards! I had a major question thats been burning in my mind for a while and wondered if this was possible from a modding standpoint.

  • I wanted to ask this before I forgot but I've had this idea a very long time and I wonder- is it possible to replace all cars within a world for different ones? Or a way to make it possible? I say this because if we get canvastowns and make our own little worlds, and say someone wants to create a 1920s or 1940s world based on America where its old vintage cars and everyone is wearing outfits to match, ArtDeco galore, etc. The world would look complete if so versus having the world look vintage (buildings etc.) but everyone is still driving modern day cars. I also ask the same for clothing too locking certain clothing outfits per world so all NPCs spawn in them.

In order to break the obsession they have to go to them gym, meditate, do yoga, take a jog or journal it out. This only happens when their social and recognition levels are only met by one zoi CONSTANTLY. But if left obsessed for too long they may even build an altar for that zoi xD. But if balanced, they receive the trait "devoted" and if healed from the obsession they receive a perk called "self-love".

I will be honest I want Inzoi to be a life simulation game that is focused on life and families, careers, building, skills, relationships, connections, etc. but I also would not mind if we added more mature content. I think majority of us grew up with sims and ready for a more mature life simulation game that isn't goofy, kiddish and limited. To be honest I wish we had a bit of gta in Inzoi and able to expand the crimes and have realistic bars/nightclubs etc. same time though I wouldn't want it to be too far focused off being a life simulation genre. I think maybe it can be balanced though like if people want to have more realistic bars why not? ordering a alcohol drink at a bar/club won't take away from life simulation. I think it adds to realism and giving our Zois a freedom of choice which is "life" I see nothing wrong with gambling if casinos got added which I hope! It can be just for young adults and up. I would LOVE being able to stay at a luxury resorts and casino and have realistic clubs/bars. These are real life experiences and if we cannot do them it just makes us limited.

I completely agree!! This is what sets Inzoi apart from the Sims as a completely separate entry in the life simulation genre.

There’s an entire market of gamers who are wanting a more immersive, realistic and adult focused game.

There should be a good balance of wholesome and adult focused content.

I thoroughly enjoy it when a game allows me to feel a wide range of different emotions.

The Sims has been around for over 25 years now, and the majority of the loyal players have also aged and are ready to shift their focus to something different.

So, I am definitely looking forward for more romantic, dramatic, family focused and comedic interactions.

Yesssss exactly !! As long as it's within the devs vision, I'm all for them pushing boundaries. It's ironic because I'm def a slice of life player, but a little chaos makes it more immersive. Def agree, a lot of players are folks who grew up with sims. It doesn't have to be rated R, but I'd def like a game that's a bit more mature. Exactly like you said, it should be a totally different game that sets itself apart from other games.

I used be a family player too and avoided violence in my games until I decided to download adult mods. This changed my perspective and the way I play life simulation. After having a taste of chaos and violence, I can't play without it lmao. I need drama, chaos, a bit of violence (I want to freely punch sims/zois that piss me off lol), unpredictability, adult life, etc.

Also many of us had mature mods in sims, but I don't always want to use mods just to add a bit more mature realism. I feel like Inzoi already shifted us to something different and majority of players want more mature content. I don't think they have to go off being a life simulation genre to achieve this. Not even so much teen rated because if you look at the sims I would say we had more mature content than Inzoi lol woohoo is a great example of this, while in Inzoi romance is so casual and we see a giant heart in woohoo which seems more silly to me than romantic. Also in clubs you can order drinks that gave you that idea of adult drinking... just not going as far as being drunk! I just don't want inzoi being so limited that even as a life simulation game it doesn't feel realistic because it becomes so restricted and we end up wanting more. I see more requests of players asking for more rather than restrictions and I don't think I ever really seen anyone wanting restrictions when it comes to this topic (if so not many) which tells me as players we grew and ready for a new step in this genre. I hope the team sees this enough to set Inzoi apart as something unique in this genre.

What about zois being able to interact with some other elements of the map?

  1. For example, being able to sit below trees and relax under their shadow, or even read a book the zoi is currently carrying while at it
  2. If the zoi is an introvert, there could be an option to, while sitting on the grass in parks or in a sidewalk café, observe other zois and landscapes
  3. This could also inspire artistic zois to, for instance, write books, paint art pieces, take photographs

I really believe his type of interaction with the world would make it not seem like a "movie set", and gives players a reason to get their zois out of the house

Yes, I 100% agree.. I absolutely loved having more mature content mods in my Sims game. They brought so much life, chaos and unpredictable content into my gameplay.

So, I desperately would LOVE having a life sim game where a lot of mods aren’t really needed, because it’s already included within the core gameplay.

These are a list of some of the mods that were used:

  • More realistic pregnancies, prenatal care and different childbirth scenarios. (Ex: More random health events that occur only during pregnancy, emergency births)

  • Very detailed Healthcare / Dental systems (includes getting check-ups for the entire family, vaccinations, different community acquired diseases, medications, family therapy and health conditions (Ex: chronic allergies, cavities, children coming home from school with Strep Throat, Mono or a stomach virus)

  • A detailed Real Estate system (Requires: Hiring a real estate agent, house hunting, bidding on houses)

  • A more expanded Adoption/ Foster Care system. (Being able to adopt or foster children for a specific time period)

  • Child support and spousal support payment options/settings. With Court proceedings.

  • Detailed Wedding Planning (Requires: hiring a wedding planner, purchasing rings, dress, tuxedos, cakes and flowers. Selecting the bridal party, and venue hunting. Hosting engagement parties, rehearsal dinners and after wedding reception)

  • Very detailed “Teen Lives” (Specific “teen only” moods and emotions, part time jobs, after school activities, popularity system, romantic life and different social groups)

On another note,

I do wish the “set the mood” interaction was a little more fleshed out (not in an inappropriate way), but with a little more than just a static large heart over the screen. Inzoi needs to make its own special version of “woohoo” that makes it more fun/entertaining for players.

As this has been stated numerous times before, by many other community members… the realistic graphics of Inzoi makes it really noticeable and awkward, when certain animations are more on the “quirkier” and “unrealistic” side.

Especially, when it’s an interaction that is frequently used during gameplay (which also includes Zoi’s wearing a towel while bathing/showering)

There just needs to be a smoother transition and better balance (realistic vs. quirky) with these types of interactions/animations..

I agree and honestly I wish we could have a more advanced healthcare system (like you mentioned) like if a zoi gets sick being able to call for a appointment to get a check up/tests and treatments. Or even being able to take blood tests and for pregnant Zois being able to get ultrasounds. Actually I wish we had a hospital you can actually go into and go in as a walk in and wait in a waiting room like real life. They can add a pharmacy in there too to pick up medicine.

I still stick to the opinion that the game needs large, tangible gameplay loops and settings that can be marketed through media, so the story of super‑niche interest doesn’t continue, the kind that can’t be changed by a trailer update if it lacks those strong loops and settings. As I see it, the details aren’t really highlighted in promo at all, you can only find them in the patch notes. And, hmm… does word of mouth help much?

For me, the 2026 roadmap + multiplayer is currently the only chance to change the situation.

But, ofc, marketers are needed who can forecast the interest of potential target groups beyond the niche of 5–10k people. According to FIREMONKEY leaks, many things requested in Sims 4 (such as spiral staircases or even cars) were statistically barely used in Sims 3, and that’s why EA management finds it easier to greenlight fresh ideas. Be it good or bad, for some reason they sell like hotcakes.

So… rumors and gossip in inZOI were basically the entry mechanic, right?

I also had adult mods like life tragedies, I forgot what mod it was but one for periods, a pregnancy one that added rabbit hole events but also had realistic reactions if teens got pregnant, I had basemental drugs and extreme violence🤣. I would love to see more adult content so I’m glad to see other people speaking up about it. And again like many people here I also don’t want to have to use many mods for certain features. Between guns and smoking I think smoking would be easier to get into the game cause Korea isn’t into guns like in the U.S, however smoking is something that both places have been known for having high rates of whether that’s weed or cigarettes.

The Zoi's morning routine is often a hindrance and a complication.
My Zoi wake up quite early, and I monitor them to make sure they get their needs met. For example, the first one up prepares a multi-portion breakfast, so they don't all have to cook or eat ready-made meals.
It's a shame that, after eating, with their hunger at its peak, many Zoi go to the refrigerator to get more food, to "satisfy their hunger," which, however, isn't there. I have to monitor them and put away things they've already taken out (because, even if you interrupt the action, they finish it), with dishes left lying around.
The same goes for personal hygiene: it doesn't matter if their toilet is full, the Zoi will jump in the tub.
Even if the "go to school" commitment has already been made.
The "go to school" commitment often comes into play when children and teens should already be at school. I often see them arrive around 9:30 or later. It doesn't trigger the same time for everyone in the same age group; I don't understand why.
Arriving late has no consequences (but it should).

Zois arms acting Independently
Zois arms acting independently does this also mean they can do 3 things at the same time such as: read a book while sitting while watching tv, or talking on the phone while sitting while watching tv. OR even just walking and eating at the same time or walking, a zoi taking notes/or writing in a journal during a lecture while listening to another zoi speak, holding a baby on a zois lap while they feed them and watch tv, holding another zoi's hand at the same time? (my mind is cooking up endless activities) I think it's progress off to a great start so far!

Zois Object Collision
When zois collide into objects it would be nice if they fell sometimes when colliding with smaller/lighter objects, like slipping on a ball or falling into the restaurant menu board sign. I think if your zoi is walking into an object it shouldn't automatically be destroyed base on the size and weight of the object-especially the weight. Taking the produce cart stand for example, if a zoi walks into it, it should just shake a little and they make a grunt noise, versus if they run full speed into it it would fall over and break (unless it was an object known to be very heavy then it wouldn't budge at all).

Zois and Strangers
I was remembering something you mentioned in your first post announcing fundamentals being the focus of this year in the roadmap, Where you stated zois won't be sitting next to strangers (or would be mindful not to) in public like cafes for instance, when choosing a seat. Will this also extend to conversations? Because I can have two of my zois talking or a group of friends talking and a random zoi could be any age; will come up and start talking to them. I think it would be cool if the group stopped talking gradually and recognized the stranger, or perhaps even ignore them, or ask if they know them (the stranger). But I feel my thought process is complex and may not be realistic. Then I thought about maybe if they do include the stranger into the conversation a hot key can be assigned for everyone to acknowledge them, but they won't be someone who appears in their contact list or even people they know, because they haven't exchanged contact information yet.

  • **Encounter list for Strangers: **Which brings me to this new idea called an 'encounter list' their name however could be in the list of people they've encountered but there would be a grey icon there, and over time if they don't speak to this person they become removed from the list entirely, but remain a part of the zois memories.
  • Not knowing a Zois full name initially I think it would be cool if we had to get to know zois more to get to know their full name (first, last, middle name, nickname, maiden name). Otherwise zois would know each other by their first name only or assigned nickname.

Attraction System and other CAZ features I'd like to see Added:
attributes that zois find attractive in other romantic interests: Hair color, eye color, skin tone, body shape, hair type, wealth piercings, career, and hobbies
⦁ Being able to choose 8 traits for zois to add dynamics to their personality and behavior
⦁ Being able to set background history traits: grew up poor/wealthy, raised by grandparents, bullied, happy child hood, urban upbringing, rural upbringing, big family/ only child, etc.

Could we please have a zois with autonomy on take a portion from the fridge of what’s already cooked and kept in? Or have them put the dish back in the fridge or take food from the dish that’s kept outside.

What I’ve noticed for some reason is that even when there’s food on the table the zoi I don’t control constantly keeps going and cooking to eat rather than taking what I kept on the table

Suggestion: Auto-Sliced Pastries for Market Stands

Please add an option where both business owners and employees automatically place pastries in sliced form when restocking market stands. Right now, pastries are placed whole, which feels unrealistic for bakeries.

A toggle like “Display pastries as sliced” or following the set menu style would be a great QoL improvement 🍰

Bug Report: Edited Zoi Schedule Not Being Followed

Edited Zoi schedules do not work as intended. Zois assigned to stay at a specific location continue to leave despite having a fixed schedule.

Expected Result:
Zois should remain at the café according to their edited schedule.

Actual Result:
Zois randomly walk away from the café and do not follow the assigned schedule.

Pls give us the ability to get rid of ghosts in our business properties and our houses they are ruining us financially. And they are making costumers nervous and they wont shop anything, your spirit guide hire option in the phone is not working at all by owned business properties. and cleaning their mess up takes up all of our business hours it ruins the whole business feature in core, get rid all of them or anchor them to the graveyards that they cant leave and wondering around. Or anything that helps us to get rid of them from our home lots and business lots too. And Removezoi and its Id of the ghost do nothing too.

I had the same issues too where I couldn’t delete a ghost that was one of my zoi. I hope there can be a cheat to remove a ghost from a place, because the removezoi doesn’t work for ghost.

Try this, because this is what I did. Go find a bell at the funeral place and ring it. You will now see ghost and go talk to them until you can play as them, and move them out of the building far away. Playing as them means you’ll have to play until their time as ghosts are done, before they can disappear fully 😅 but I think you can switch to another zoi, but I forgot how.

Thank you, but to be honest i don't want to become a ghost just to get rid of them. To be fair when the devs decided to implement them they should have also implemented a feature that allows any zoi by default to get rid of them instead becoming one of them. It is a neglected lazy design. there is literally not even a dialogue option with the ghost that says move on and by default the ghost will be gone for ever from the properties or banished to graveyard and locked there permanently.

I would love to see more crime stuff be developed. Something a bit more interactive, but they could go really far with this. Threaten other zoi's with weapons, car theft, hostage/kidnapping. I know it sounds dark but this would add so much to the game, especially for those who are getting a bit tired of the same old life sims over and over again (we can only do so much farming/cooking/sleeping). Especially with multiplayer coming, dedicated servers for people who want a more chaotic gameplay experience could be used. It would increase the demographic immensley - a little GTA with mostly life sim would be so fun

We need functional garages. The ability to park and store a vehicle inside the player’s own house would significantly improve immersion and building integration, making the car feel like a true part of the construction rather than a detached object. Older life-simulation games implemented this system successfully. Please consider adding fully functional garages instead of purely decorative ones.

Make it possible to assign rooms and bathrooms for zois that we leave on autonomy pretty please I don’t want my sister taking a shower in my moms bathroom cause it’s the closest one lol

I would love if we could use boats and go around in them in bliss bay like cahaya it’s got a beautiful ocean that I would love to make good use of🤭

Another thing I noticed is zois ignore food that’s already prepared and kept out instead they go and cook another dish.

Please please fix the auto drive mapping glitch.
