How’s the weather where you are?
The inZOI team worked hard again this week—
no, actually… we worked unbelievably hard.
But~! We still haven’t been able to fix all the issues you shared with us…
(Trust us, it breaks our hearts too 😭)
Don’t worry, though!
Once the December update is out, we’ll jump straight into a full improvement phase, gathering all your feedback and tackling it properly.
We’re already collecting and fixing things one by one, so please hang in there just a little longer! 😄

For example:
-Strong requests for slow dancing
-Feedback that infants should have no teeth, and toddlers should have 1–3 small baby teeth
-Fixing the unnatural behavior of vacuuming/mopping outside the house
-Making sure major in-game decisions are always the player’s choice, including options to disable automatic features (e.g., unwanted pregnancy/childbirth)
-Restoring the original Cat’s Eye plumbob
-Bringing back the old parking lot
-And many early-development quirks and features that still need proper tuning 😳

We’ll keep addressing them one by one—
slowly, but consistently!
We’ll continue improving inZOI until we can confidently stand before you as a game that keeps getting better. 💪✨

Regarding the upcoming December update:

✨I want to repeat it again:
“Having different hairstyles and makeup for each outfit category is extremely important and should be a high-priority feature.”
For example, when my Zoi changes into pajamas to sleep, she still has full makeup on.
And the makeup for “formal”, “everyday”, and “sportswear” outfits all looks the same.
This looks strange and unrealistic.
We want this to be fixed in the December update.

✨‼️✨ And finally, regarding the open-world visual loading issue:
Please “remove or improve the current distance-culling system (pop-in / pop-out issue) that hides Zois and vehicles at long distances.”
This greatly breaks immersion.

A bit curious what happens when we download an outfit with custom textures from canvas but they hid the texture... so does the downloaded outfit end up looking different that the preview?!

Thank you for taking our feedbacks seriously and working to implement them. Please add lot size filter to canvas and build mode!

Please add a mini map when using vehicles so we do not need to go into map view to see where we are going.

Also it would be great if zois prioritized using their vehicles (if they have one) to get around especially when going to places farther than a block away.

I love that they wouldn't need to wait too long at traffic lights anymore before crossing.

Hi, Kjun! Thanks a lot for the update – a real joy for fans of inZOI’s original concept! First of all, in every new footage I notice more and more spots for new lots in the main cities – looks like plus 7–10 in Dowon, and they’re already practically right side by side. And this is in a fully open world, despite the challenges and doubts from players – keep it up! this is GOAT 💪

And then more work on manual driving, bringing back the parking lots, and in this perspective possibly even free parking next to numerous commercial buildings and public areas?

And of course, it’s great to read about restoring the original Cat’s Eye plumbob, which is essentially just as much a symbol as the iconic plumbob! I appreciate that these topics continue to be emphasized and given high priority. Doodle_Psycat_Stretch

If you bring back the Catseye symbol, please make it hide-able in ALL camera modes so that it doesn’t conflict with storytelling photos!

For example, I’ll often need to shift to free camera mode to capture photos if zoi’s are holding objects. Please ensure it doesn’t show the catseye symbol when the camera mode is on!

I agree with you !!! Pls add a mini map while driving with a gps system to guide us to where we are going. Please allow automatic driving so we can enjoy the scenery. Pleaseeeeee let zois autonomously use their vehicles when they are traveling, it defeats the purpose of them owning it. Just throwing this out there again, pleaseeeeeee give us the strollers 😭 Don't worry about the stairs. Someone provided a brilliant idea to add ramps. With a ramp, have zois with strollers automatically route to the ramp instead of the stairs. I've been playing in dowon, and I noticed there's not many locations with stairs anyway. Please consider keeping strollers in the December update, I'm saddened as that's the feature I was looking forward to the most. Please devs, hear our pleas 😭 Thank you for all you do !

THANK YOU for the "Cat's Eye" ! It is a minor thing but put many minor things together and this is how you ended up with the most beautiful UI I had seen in a while ! Make sure this is an option in the menus, some ppl might like the new one instead.

Also, could there be a possibility to use the rest of the original, pre-0.30 (pre-cahaya) UI in the future as an option ?

There have been a couple update to the UI since including the one in October.
Each time it makes part of the UI bigger or change a component. The pre-Cahaya or "slim" UI as I call it, had a slim emotion bar, a smaller round portrait, small "urges" bar with a white line that grew shorter the less time you had to complete it, no Zoi bubbles over their head (what they think off, not a fan). Now many of us loved that early design, and I dare say we would still chose it if we had the chance.

Since many love the new UI and the bigger things without having to "mouse over" each component, I do not want to deprive them of it, but** it would be REALLY NICE if we could have the old one as an option in the game menu** !

Is that something that would be possible or are you already considering it?

I agree also!! We desperately need a mini map/GPS screen when using the “manual” driving option.. and the ability to just watch our Zoi’s automatically drive to the location.

If the Zoi has purchased a vehicle, it should be prioritized for usage.. the player should not have to manually tell their Zoi to use their vehicle when traveling to a different location. There should be an option, to “Not travel by purchased vehicle” if you really want your Zoi to walk, use the bus or subway system.

I’m soooo glad they have added customization to the kiosks!! Now, we can select which foods can be sold Icon_Heart

Wow this is all great stuff! I will say about the strollers though.. i really really hope that strollers will still be released. Even if they're not the best we've seen from the developers that you guys are able to make quality updates. We believe you will fix any issues in the future but we really want to play around with strollers. It seems the main issue is stairs but someone had a great idea to implement disability ramps for zois. Either way pls release strollers for the Dec update! ❤️

I agree with the other comments that we NEED a mini map. I'm also interested in seeing the rabbit hole court procedures that would be added to the game

Another random question but eventually can the rain in inzoi be improved? Usually when it rains I noticed my graphics start to look fuzzy and everything becomes really gray and foggy.

Regarding strollers , I have some ideas with the issue with stairs as it doesn’t have to go on the stairs ,
the Zois could take their babies in their hand while folding the stroller to take it by hand.

The parent could bring a baby carrier, with them , put it inside the stroller , if they want to walk on the stairs , they could put the baby on the baby carrier and then fold the stroller

The parent could also decide to choose different ways , the parent could decide instead to use a ramp or elevator instead of taking the stairs .

Before going outside, the parent could also ask the other parent or a family member at home if they want to come along to take the baby outside .
It could also serve as an additional help if they decide to take the stairs , one could take the baby in their hands while the other could fold the stroller .

It is normal that during early access (and in the proccess of developing a game) the deadlines sometimes are not that easy to meet, and I think the community knows that and it is still grateful for the efforts of both you and the team! Oh my god, I can't believe you guys heard my suggestion about the newborns without teeth, the toddlers with a few teeth and my other suggestion about not vacuuming or mopping the outdoor floors. Thank you so much, kjun!!! 🥰

Another suggestion I think is important, and I see I'm not the only one who has this problem: please add an option to "fertilize all", "water all", "plant all", "harvest all", "remove all the dead plants" . Clicking on each plant (especially when it's a large plantation) is a headache. I know about the scarecrows for harvesting and the sprinklers for watering in groups, but it would be convenient if when you click "water all", the zoi goes around watering each plant and you don't have to click 500 times. The zoi should be able to handle it autonomously while the player takes care of other things.

Also, when selling the vegetables I grew to the reseller, it would be great if I could select multiple items from my backpack and sell them all together. Again, when you have a large plantation and multiple items in your backpack, selling one by one is a headache.

There're one feature I would like to see in inzoi. I mention this before which is the one you knowledge! I appreciate being heard. I will mention again and not necessary to be a high priority feature I request.

I'm hopping for a phone number exchange system for Zois to connect with each other because I dislike unwanted text(s) and unwanted friendship(s) in relationship panel. An deleted option would be work too but I prefer requesting phone numbers through mutual friends, asking Zoi directly, or other ways, (like stalking for example. 👀) with options to accept or decline requests. Relationships could be categorized into "have contact", "have no contact", and "blocked" tabs. The "have no contact" tab, I can't text them obviously, (unless stalking on computer) but, in that tab, I can see what zoi's relationship bar have with my zoi.

The opportunity to please other people's cars and the punishment for it.
Ready-made templates for parts of the face, noses, lips, eyes.

A love the little changes showcased. I did spot a new build mode icon I assume is for editing the terrain 😃 (Nope it's seems that new icon is a bulldozer to replace the original delete all icon.) .
Also the business feature is looking much more interesting.

Personally I like the upside down triangle. At the very least give us the option to choose between the cat's eye and triangle if people really want it back.

**Suggestions on improving Cooking System + Adding a Grocery Store + Benefits for Daily and Business Gameplay + New Career Paths **

By expanding the cooking system where you **HAVE **to have ingredients in order to cook, bake or create drinks (you can **NOT ** buy meals at the refrigerator, stove, or microwave) this will not only add to the immersion and realism of everyday life, but also challenge players’ planning, budgeting, and management skills.

By implementing a grocery store, this will encourage players to go out and explore their town which enriches gameplay. Currently, there are very few life simulation games that have functional grocery stores. If inZOI was to create one and make it functional where players can buy groceries with functional carts and bags, this will help inZOI stand out more amongst other simulation games.

If the cooking system was expanded where you **HAVE ** to buy ingredients, this will also add challenges and gameplay depth with the business system and operating a business.

Operating a business should not only be fun, but also be challenging where players are willing to spend hours to reach goals to unlock awards that will help them operate their business.

For example, if I was to run a cafe - I will need to go to the grocery store to buy ingredients to make each item on my menu. Instead of paying $10 to create an iced green tea latte on the spot, I will need to have the required ingredients to make it:

  • ** Ice**
  • Matcha Powder
  • **Milk **

As stated before, this adds challenges to inventory upkeep, budgeting and management skills which will help enrich gameplay and replayability. To take it a step further, if food delivery or delivery of goods in general (flowers, drinks, art or etc.) was introduced then you can further add depth in business gameplay as you can now potentially add new challenges of having to need cups, takeout boxes, bags or etc. in stock to have these items delivered. If not in stock, how will this impact customer's ratings and the reputation of a business for not having their item delivered?

Also, having delivery introduced opens up a new career path as well that's not a rabbit hole 👀

Back to the cafe example, if all we need to do to make a iced green tea latte is pay $10 to create it on the spot to sell it to a customer - interest for running a business may decline as there are plenty of other games with this type of business system already with no real challenges in place. At that point, what is making inZOI stand out?

Business Perks: Maybe introducing perks after reaching a certain business level or achievement can unlock benefits such as:

  • Buy ingredients in bulk
  • Discounted prices for ingredients
  • Reduce chances of your business being robbed
  • **Increase workers’ skills by 1 level **
  • Increase tips by 25% for 24 hours
  • Faster Checkouts
  • **Guaranteed postive customer expereince **

Another thing I'd love to see improved in the future is the way vehicles are driven, especially the car. Instead of the wheels turning abruptly, it would be more realistic if they turned smoothly.

When you said that zoi's could get a wish to cheat on another zoi after catching them cheating, i laughed so hard. It's so incredibly childish and I hope you introduce more small interactions like that 🤣

Now that that's out of the way, I do have a long list of things that might improve the game.

First of all, I feel like inzoi could benefit from more kissing locations for storytelling. My suggestions:

On counter
On desk (particularly useful for office romances)
On couch
On bed
Against the wall

Also, the ability to cuddle on the bed. And while we're at it, the ability for zois to snuggle on the bed and couch with their children and toddlers. Maybe even nap with their toddlers in the adult bed?

Second, I want to discuss the spawning. Having pre-determined spawning points is a little boring since I know my zoi just needs to go there to find what she needs as opposed to having to look for it. I guess it's okay for the metals since it'd be weird to find random metals lying on the street, but maybe make it so that wild harvestables and seeds spawn in grassy areas and sand piles spawn all over the beach as opposed to in the same location? Maybe even underwater for underwater collections?

Also, I saw your wednesday review about the cash registers. Other actions that add to immersion are chef zois cooking food. Waiter zois serving the food at mid tier and expensive restaurants, and host zois showing other zois where to sit at expensive restaurants. Also, cashier zois will have to bring the food to the counter.

Speaking of expensive, could we possibly get some casinos for our rich zois to blow their money? 1/13

And on the topic of rich, could we get a Dish store? Zois could shop around for plates, cups, pots, pans, knives, cutting boards, ect. Those will basically be cosmetics for the dishes zois use to cook and eat as well as introducing an extra way to spend money. Buying said dishes will make them available per zoi in the household. So you can Choose a zoi’s favorite dish and they’ll start using it instead. It provides gameplay and immersion cause we can make our poor zois eat from a plastic plate with a plastic fork and our chaebol zois to eat from a diamond crusted plate with pure golden forks. The plates and cutlery will need to be purchased per zoi as opposed to setting it for the entire household. The pots, pans and cooking utensils, etc. Can be set per zoi or per household, so our zois could make soup in a pink pot with a cat shaped ladle for example. Maybe even be able to designated certain plates and utensil as “for guests” or “for parties”? That way our zois could have special China plates only for guests or even make it so that all zois will use the wooden plates and wooden forks for their dinner parties? It would defnitily add to immersion and allow us to costumize our zois life. and being able to use them as decor.

Grow and make your own tea + tea making skill

Introduce the ability to cure tea on a drying rack and make teas like white tea, green tea, black tea, oolong, ect and Introduce a coffee plant to be able to grow our own coffee (will also cure on the drying rack). Could be as a part of living off the land pack? I know a lot of players would absolutely love a feature like that. And also, be able to find seeds around the world as opposed to just having to buy them for the extra added challenge.

Dry some flowers and mix with dried tea leaves to create unique tea blends that can be sold in stores.
Zois can brew the tea with a tea set for a private tea party or to serve to guests

Or fill a tea dispenser to serve to costumers in a tea house

I want to start off by giving a big thanks to the Inzoi team for all their hard work so far this year. What you're doing is a monumental task and I want to let you know that we're cheering you on.

It's awesome that you're considering slow dancing for next year. With that I understand clipping might be an issue. It would be lovely if dancing was its own skill similar to music. When a Zoi starts out they are clumsy and awkward and then eventually are graceful. Also, different styles of couples dancing, line dancing and new solo dances would be terrific.

Now that that is out of the way, I have a suggestion about the AI feature.

I know the AI feature isn’t officially announced, but a lot of us have seen the leaks. It would be incredible if it was built in a way that would allow even more interaction. Let’s take for example a criminal. The criminal is charged with theft, so he’s sent to the police station and gets a prompt “this criminal has been charged with theft and will absolutely refuse to admit he stole anything”. Then, your zoi works as a police officer, so you can have an “AI interrogation” interaction where the player basically gets the criminal to admit to theft by gaslighting the AI (games with a similar premise already exist on the market actually, so it's definitely possible with an LLM). Once the criminal admits to theft, the criminal will be charged. Such interactions could be revolutionary, especially if you include mood stats so responses can be based on the characters mood. So if you want your characters to have AI proposals, you would have to chat up your romantic interest until their mood is something like “romantic” and then you can propose. Mood stats are also very much possible. Can also be involved in getting the other person to admit crushes, ect ect. Bonus points if we can set a custom prompt to a target npc to determine the conversation. maybe you could even work as a store attendant and have to convince customers to buy. The customers could have anything from “what should I buy” prompt, all the way to “I’m just loitering around and will not spend a dime” prompt.
The AI conversations should also be able to impact emotions (maybe AI generated mood descriptions?), wishes, relationships and even schedule events you/the npc agrees to (aka: hey, lets go to the club on Friday > okay >event gets added to calendar). The LLM possibilities are definitely limitless! 3/13

And finally on the list of new features suggestion is an in game poser. The ability to create our own poses directly in game by dragging and posing zoi’s bodies would add so much to the game. Basically, a simplified version of what you’d find in a 3d program, but instead of having to do so externally, the ability to create the poses directly in game. Can be AI assisted and use the current AI pose from reference and be able to tweak it inside the game or even create your very own! Since that tool isnt powerful enough to create group poses, it would let the players to tell their own stories. And finally: the ability to share poses we created on canvas. Would definitely be much more unique!

And while on this topic, I hope the script modding tool coming next year will streamline the process of creating custom interactions since i know many players would love to create their own animations but dont necessarily have the coding skills required.

Now that all new game mechanics are out of the way, let's dive into adding gameplay to our zoi's skills!

I wanted to revisit the writing system idea I proposed a few weeks ago. The main points that remain from that proposal is how inspiration is gained. However, I reworked the idea of how those points are applied for a more meaningful system.

Each book genre will consist of 2 things: writing quality and story quality. The more complex the genre, the higher the requirements will be for writing and story quality. Together, they’ll tally into a score out of 100, with 100 being a perfect quality book that has a chance of becoming a best seller (50 points from writing skill and 50 points from inspiration points). That way, a player wont suddenly write a best selling essay even though their writing skill is level 1. They also wont suddenly write all perfect books just cause they’re at a high skill level. Inspiration points will reset whenever a book in the specific genre is finished.

The writing and story quality requirements per book are hidden from the player and will have to be experimented with to get the correct level and add to gameplay.
Also, when editing the book from the agent’s request (refer here: #1433832956719267890 message ) , there’s a small chance it’s gonna add 5 points to the writing skill tally.

So, here’s an example:
Zoi’s writing skill level: 0
Inspiration points: 3
Perfect Essay requirements: 5 inspiration points, level 2 writing skill.

so inspiration points are 3/5, or 30/50. Zoi’s writing skill level is 0/5, so 0/50. Total score is 30. So the essay comes out horrible quality.

Second example:
Perfect Horror requirements: writing level 8, 40 inspiration points
Zoi’s writing level: 7
Inspiration points: 35

So 7/8 writing skill is 44/50. 30/40 inspiration is 44/50. total score is 88. Book is great quality.

Your zoi implements the agent’s edits and gets +5 to writing. Final score: 93. Book becomes excellent quality.

Tally score suggestions:

<=50 =horrible
51 - 58 = bad
59 - 65 =so-so
66 - 72 = okay
73 - 79 = Good
80 – 88 =Great
89 - 99 = excellent
100 = Perfect

On the topic of stalking aspect of inzoi, I want stalking nothing to be too crazy or too dark. I want the version of "stalking" to be tone down. And can be dark side of life in inzoi.

For examples I can think of...

Cruel affair:
Zoi's husband cheated and have affair. affair in one of those mood and decided to stalk on computer to find what wife's phone number is just to text her (maybe behind the husband's back?). "Hey! Hate break it to you but your husband cheating on you with me. Leave him!"

Scam:
The purpose of stalking on computer might be scamming people, trying get money?

Prank:
A friend pretend to be stranger to prank a friend to give a little scared? (Not sure how I feel about this one)

Light:

Kind heart affair:
Affair find out the husband turn out to be married and have no idea. Kind heart affair decided to stalk on computer to find the wife's number and text.
"Hey...I hate to say this. Your husband and I...umm, yeah. He's cheating on you and i didn't know. I'm sorry. Just thought you would like to know."

Wrong number:
girl who intentionally give him wrong number. He text, like, whoops, wrong number after send flirty message when receiving the message of my zoi. "Who the heck are you? I didn't give you my number at beach today."

Secret admirer:
Zoi have huge crush on my zoi and try to get the phone number though my friend's friends by luck. If they happen to meet? Idk. A friend ask my zoi first before giving him or a friend giving him the number anyway.

I don't want stalking happen too often.

Im not sure about dark but if you have better idea about dark and light, i love to hear them.

I don’t know why these relationship types was never mention during updates to making relationships. To add onto the suggestion, I saw that we can pick two traits for our zoi’s personality, like being a introvert and more, but can we have three choices instead of two? And can we have a trait for “Cheater” (this trait will make the zoi cheat on their partners and resort to cheating on other things) Zois without the “cheater” trait shouldn’t be cheating, or just make a “loyal” trait so that a zoi never cheat on their current partner, because I also want to make a loyal zoi for story telling purposes/gameplay purposes. A loyal zoi will not flirt or ask other zois that isn’t their partner on a date.

A similar system could also be applied to painting, since it’s also a creative hobby that requires just as much inspiration as writing does. However, the actions inspiration points are gained from will be different than the ones gained for writing (could involve admiring a zoi, going to the gallery to look at paintings, spending time outside, etc.)

Also, I want to propose a meaningful gameplay loop tied to the cooking system.
First of all, the food quality. As opposed to simply unlocking recipes, skills should also determine how good the food tastes. At lower skill levels, the food could be burned, oversalted, underseasoned, ect. There should also be a hidden tracker that tracks how many times a zoi cooked a certain dish that is basically a hidden skill level for a single dish. The more times a zoi cooks this dish, the more the zoi will improve their proficiency and the dish will be of higher and higher quality, and upon mastering this hidden skill, the zoi will cook a perfect dish every time.
So dish levels could be something like
Burned – not tied to dish proficiency but cooking level and mood
Poor
Good
Great
Perfect

Each dish rarity tier (more on that later) has higher cooking proficiency requirements (aka you have to cook them more times). Dishes will also be tied to the cooking skill and get unlocked for discovery whenever a zoi is able to cook them. For example, while pancakes are a common recipe, people with low cooking skill level wouldn’t be able to cook them for example.

tbh I still haven’t understood the reasons why some of the original ideas were removed or changed. Some people confidently talk about majority/minority, which surprises me, so I’ll be watching with interest. But flattening the game into something generic in certain aspects isn’t really great. Each time it feels like you’re trading away a piece of common eccentricity for some standard path ahead. I understand the players, but the devs also need to consolidate their position in the creative direction.

So for example: eggs on toast is ordinary tier, so a zoi would only need to cook it once to move on to the next level. Meaning, it will be perfect on the 4th attempt onward. A recipe like tiramisu is a rare tier, so a zoi will need to cook it 5 times to move to the next skill level, for a grand total of 20 attempts before it consistently becomes perfect.

Now, let’s get to the fun part of this proposal: unlocking dishes. Simply cooking enough until you can cook another dish upon leveling up is… well… boring. And not at all how it works in real life. So I propose this:
first of all, the simple recipes should be unlocked without any special requirements (because everybody knows how to make a salad and fry an egg) and simply be tied to cooking skill level. We shall call those ordinary tier. 7/13

Yes, I’m desperately in need of bringing back the karma system.

Yes, without those annoying reminders that you must be good and shouldn’t be bad, haha, so they don’t interfere with role‑playing negative personalities. Yes, without the responsibility for every single town resident.

But then there are the bubbly rumors… your Zoi spread them, other Zois spread about your Zoi, and here the devs can also include drama, betrayals, cheating (it’s more interesting when cheating in return is interpreted as “karmic payback”).

And of course, all of this leads straight to the Afterlife! During Ghost Play, the main task for reincarnation is to restore the missing karma points by helping other ghosts, etc. An absolutely unique, deep, and cohesive gameplay layer.

You can research online for a chance to find a common recipe (so cupcakes, spaghetti in tomatoe sauce, ect).
For uncommon recipes, your zois would need to purchase a recipe book from a store and finish reading it before learning how to cook a dish. (So bread, kimchi, steak, ect).
The rare dishes could only be acquired from npc zois. Befriending those zois and talking about cooking has a chance to reveal a rare dish recipe (so, baked Alaska, Angel food, souffle, lobster thermidor, beef wellington, ect).
And finally… the legendary tier. These are the rarest dishes that can only be acquired by zois eating them a few times. Each time a zoi eats them, there’s a small chance of learning the recipe with a high enough cooking skill.
Each restaurant in every world can serve a few of those legendary dishes, but in order to discover them all, zois will need to eat in each restaurant in every world. This will encourage the players to actually travel, and we will feel a sense of accomplishment upon discovering them all. Bonus points if they're dishes only found in inzoi. 8/13

I agree we need markers for Zoi’s who want to be monogamous and polyamorous as part of the “relationship and identity” category of our Zoi’s identity and we need a trait like “player” or “faithful” because not all Zoi’s want to cheat on their partners😭

  • We also need an extra trait slot anyway because I’m pretty sure they plan on adding more traits in the future that have effects on our Zoi’s autonomous behavior so only 2 slots will become limiting very fast!

Yes!!! I’ve suggested that a while back too.

There really needs to be a progression of the relationship first, and then an action to “Exchange Phone Numbers” shows up.. it’s super annoying and unrealistic to have every single Zoi that you meet, show up in your contact list or send you text messages.

Also, if your Zoi starts a new job… they should develop business relationships with their colleagues as they encounter them during their work day. Or through a “Speak with Coworkers” interaction for Rabbit Hole Careers.

Can Zoi’s also call each other and actually chat over the phone? (Which could be another way to progress the relationship)

I would love it if my Zoi’s love interest randomly called her, just to have a conversation over the phone, instead of just sending text messages.

This could also expand the gameplay for Adolescents/ Teens.. they can make and receive phone calls from their friends, boyfriends/girlfriends or crushes… Parents could also “turn off” their phones as a punishment.

Such a system would give a unique and productive gameplay loop. As opposed to doing the boring and mundane, such a loop would majorly contribute to gameplay. It will even give a more meaningful gameplay loop to the upcoming business feature by selling all those dishes our zoi keeps practicing to perfect the dish! That way our zois will actually go from a struggling small time cook working in their garage to the best chef in town! 9/13

If there’s eventually a life goal of becoming a master chef, making the step 2 challenge discover every single recipe will actually make players need to work in order to achieve it, as opposed to just accidently fulfilling all their lifetime goals. Step 3 (the final step) will be mastering all the recipes. So if we want our zoi to become a master chef, this will provide a guided gameplay for our zoi becoming a master chef. Some of the requirements will also be a guided tutorial of sorts to let people know how the skill works in the first place. So objectives like find a common recipe online, perfect fried eggs, get a rare recipe from a zoi, learn a legendary recipe, ect.

We could even make a food critic zoi where they can write a review of a dish on the computer! The payout will be tied to the writing skill itself (no inspiration points for that one). We can choose to either write a positive or negative review. Writing a negative review could ban the zoi from visiting the restaurant for a week or even for the restaurant to give zois a free coupon. Or nothing at all, it’s random. A good review has a small chance of giving a zoi a coupon, a legendary recipe, or even a payout to thank them for the increased sales. If zois read the newspaper the next day, the review will pop up on our screen to let us know what our zoi wrote.
Maybe even a food critic lifetime goal where the second step is having eaten 20 perfect quality dishes and the third step being having tasted every recipe? 👀

A zoi with high skill level in both the writing skill and the cooking skill is able to write recipe books! The requirements for writing the recipe books is mastering the dishes for each tier. So a common recipes book will require a zoi to be proficient in all common recipes, ect ect. Other zois can then click on the finished recipe book and select a recipe to learn it, bypassing the need to repeat the process with each generation and introduce legacy gameplay for a family of master chefs!
In fact, each skill could produce its very own unique object that can be passed down through the generations! So, a zoi who has written at least 5 perfect books in every genre can write the book of books. Other zois can read that book for a permanent +20 points boost to inspiration points as well as studying the book to gain the writing skill twice as fast.

An artist zoi who has produced at least 5 perfect artworks in every painting style will be able to paint the “creation of worlds” (or insert some other name) painting. Viewing this painting has a chance to provide a few inspiration points in a random art movement a zoi has unlocked at well as a +5 inspired moodlet for a while.
Players could play through the generations and leave a lasting legacy for their future offspring when creating the special skill objects, providing an incentive for generational gameplay. 11/13

For example, I have yet to see a socially shy zoi walk shy or a scary looking zoi walk intimidatingly, so I would like to see these. Maybe this is also what is missing that would make each zoi’s presence seem different from one another from first glance.

One thought that really stuck with me as I watched the video today.... for the new urge/desire to cheat after witnessing your partner cheat:
I love the idea and I love that you are adding drama and complexity to relationships 🔥 … but I still think things like this should be based on personality. What if I have a really sweet, sensitive, and loyal Zoi? They are not going to want to cheat for revenge. Maybe they're going to be utterly heartbroken and fall into a deep state of depression. I want my Zoi’s personality to reflect in their reactions to situations.

Referring back to the writing skill, there could be a famous author lifetime goal, with the final step being that a zoi has written 20 best sellers. Once again, some of the objectives could act as a tutorial, like “collect 5 essay inspiration points, achieve level 2 writing skill , write perfect essay, publish a book” ect.

Hey, there could even be a collection system tied to books to give our bookworm zois more meaning! Referring to a previous post I proposed, your zoi will need to buy books from the book store in order to read them. Each city will have its own unique selection of books available for purchase, encouraging players to actually travel. Also, there could be rare books your zoi could find while browsing the bookshelves in the AR library, and a zoi could find antique (legendary tier) books sometimes lying on the street or sold at second hand stores on rare occasions. Step 3 for a bookworm connoisseur lifetime wish would be having read every single book inzoi has to offer. Such a system should come with a progress menu that tells players which books a zoi has read so we don’t have to struggle at the end and have to read books one by one. 12/13

When players play a video game, they do so to get dopamine. The largest dopamine boost a player can ever get from a video game is by activating the reward center of the brain. As an MMA dev veteran, you’re probably well aware of this. Meaningful gameplay loops like these, where players need to actually play the game while avoiding the boring and mundane (aka telling their characters to do something and just watching them do it) will provide the largest dopamine boost of all. The systems I propose will also help to solve the “no guided gameplay” dilemma, while also introducing a very unique spin on the genre. The original sims players appreciated the challenge older titles provided and most of us play this type of game to live out a fantasy as opposed to controlling a character. A large majority of us can probably agree that sims 4 was mostly boring and mundane since it had no challenge, and therefore no gameplay. Providing some challenge and a sense of progression will bring into inzoi what made us fall in love with earlier installments and introduce the genre to a whole new generation of players.

And finally, referring to "bring back the cat eye icon". While a triangle strips away the inzoi identity, i dont think the eye is ideal either since it's a little creepy. Below i'll attach a few alternatives that could be better than the eye.

Can you please consider changing ‘**Death of acquaintance’ **to ‘**Death of a friend’ **instead? Having my zoi be depressed for hours from a one time conversation with a stranger is somewhat unrealistic. I can understand if this was a close friend or family member, but a complete stranger that my zoi met one time? Currently, NPCs dies so frequently in the game, a zoi being depressed from their passing is very frequent if they were acquaintances.

One thing I think would be fun to add to "exchange numbers" system, that my zoi ask a good friend to why she blocked that certain zoi. And my zoi would be like "Your ex friend did what!? No wonder why you're blocked him/her" You know, my zoi getting some tea(s) from friend(s). I think if drama(s) or event(s) happening to my zoi, would be running to friend(s) about what happen. Same way for my zoi's friend. It's realistic since they're good friend and friend tell each other about tea, and drama that's happening to them. Not just gossip about someone else.

I hope to see script modding soon, that will literally make the game a 14/10 when people can introduce anything they want! Multi tasking is a big thing for me too, and my BIGGEST want is the ability to have way more lots. I want to go meet someone, go over to there place, walk around town, meet people and be able to see where they live. And lastly, is it at ALL possible to reduce the amount of pop in? When npcs just appear out of nowhere only a few feet in front of you..? It's especially rough in this game. At least give us the option to increase draw distance on NPCS. It would make the world feel slightly more alive.

Some small things I would like to see:
✨ Laundry baskets and hampers that get full over time depending on the number of Zoi's in the family. Washer and dryer with animations of putting in the soap and putting the laundry into the dryer. Being able to wash everyone's laundry at once.
✨Home phones. Modern sleek phones and old wall phones.
✨ Different serving sizes for all meals and a way to call Zoi's to eat. Plus serving meals to children.
✨ Parking vehicles in parking lots and they stay where they are parked. Plus having more than four Zoi's in certain vehicles like vans that can fit more Zoi's. I would also love to see car seats added for babies and toddlers.

Some miscellaneous things:
✨ Romance: I would love to see different types of kisses and hugs. Examples: Dip kiss, up arm, neck kiss, smooch, and make out among others. For hugs you could have squeeze, side hug, bear hug, and back hug.
✨ Affection between parents and their children: forehead kiss, cheek kiss, pinch cheeks, pick up and swing around hug, get down on one knee hug. Have kids run to parents when they pick them up from school or when they get home from school or the parent returns from work.
✨ Memories: having memories that affect gameplay. Remembering childhood friends, romances, and heart breaks. Promotions, children being born, and other life events big and small that shape a Zoi's life.
✨ Milestones: Different things each life stage tries to achieve but will look different for all Zoi's because not everyone will meet all the same milestones.
✨ Turn on/offs that we can choose for each Zoi that they will look for in a partner and will determine if they have good chemistry.

I agree with the appearing out of no where thing need to be changed or improve, or at least, it should appear seamlessly, in my opinion.

Fix the vehicle, npcs, and stuff popping out of no where
I think the way items, npcs, and vehicles appear like a pop up glitch makes it seem weird, or like the world is lagging when it’s not. Is there a way to make items, npcs, vehicles, buildings appear into existence better? Maybe they can fade into existence instead of popping out of no where like a glitch or lag? Also, when zois take items out or like the stroller, can it look less like a glitch? The zois seems to pull the items out from their pockets, so maybe make the item fade into existence or the item is small and than grow in size? Or maybe, it sparkle into existence?

I hope it's before Christmas. I'm working from home on Christmas Eve and my job is closing early. Also, I am not a "let me start my own business" sort of player, but the business feature looks great so far! I just hope we can make businesses to be run by townies too and then have our zois just visit them. I have lots of ideas for that.

Kjun, can we have a Journal or Story tracker to reread what was said to us or told to us? Because I would like to reread stories that happened. I also think the words that pop up above the ghost’s head when you talk to them goes away too fast. Is there a way we can have it be like the pop up? OR maybe can we have a way to track stories or reread what a Ghost or other zois has told us? Like some kind of journal or story tracker, so we can reread events of what happened, or what was said to us, so we the players can inform ourselves on details we missed.

Also excited to see how the court system works even if it’s a rabbit hole it would be fun to see custody battles and divorce battles and what decision pop ups we get! I’m ready for the drama it could add to gameplay and i hope we get previews. Also can we add the ability to take paternity tests if let’s say the father is not convinced the child is his during a custody battle or something…👀

This may sound random but, since people are mentioning ramps for the strollers, can we get electric wheelchairs for seniors? They are such slow walkers and I get tired just seeing them run (poor grannies😅). It would be also nice for zois with disabilities and hospital storytelling when we get it in the future💖 It is something that has never been done.

So watching an old gameplay video I noticed inzoi had jet skis.. I would love for jet skis to be re-added as a new water vehicle too!!

-For next winter I would love it if the main cities had a big ice skating rink in the middle during the winter time.

-I'm asking again for an optional make up kit that zois can use to boost their confidence/optional skin care.

-I'm interested in seeing the fate engine that was mentioned earlier! I love that someone mentioned birth pills to avoid pregnancy bc that is realistic, and I also would love it if the game had a menstrual cycle where you could buy pads etc. there could be a toggle off and on button for the ppl who don't want it.

-And yes I would love it if canes and wheelchairs were added to the game. Disabled people barely get any representation in a lot of games. Adding wheelchairs would be super inclusive ❤️

The weather has been absolutely dreadful here! We’ve had intense rain and wind for the last few days, no snow yet, but still hopeful. It usually comes in january for us now!

Even though it may be taking a while to get everything fixed, i’m glad the team is taking the time to do it properly and not rushing! Quality is better over quantity. It’s something worth waiting for. psycat_cahaya

All of these updates and tweaks look amazing. I much prefer the updated layout of both of the nee UIs! And as someone who loves having complete control of everything that happens in my cities, the option to turn off automatic choices is extremely helpful!

Hello Kjun,
great work on the modkit so far, but we urgently need fixes for the following issues:

  • Object slots for items on furniture don’t work when they are manually copied and added.

  • Only pre-existing slots function correctly.

  • Manually placed stands, food trucks, and carts do not open in-game.

I would also really love to have the ability to fully mod our own food trucks — including custom product lists, consumer effects, and adding our own meshes. Some of this can already be edited in the blueprint, but it isn’t fully enabled yet and we are not allowed to pack a mod like this. We would greatly appreciate having this functionality to be even more creative. This would also include modding my own recipe book etc etc.

I will say just to talk about parking again.. when parking was kind of here it would just spawn outside your house/apartment but it couldn't be parked in a garage or be left anywhere. When parking does make a return the kind of parking I would LOVE is the ability to exit the car and leave the car anywhere and it stays. Boats in cahaya already have parking where you can just leave your boat in the water and go for a swim and still go back to the boat and it would still be there. That's the kind of parking system I really really want for cars. (And a radio station system too and a gps in the future)

Yeah and I'd also like it if flirty conversation options don't count as cheating because the Zois keep doing them autonomously and they're pretty harmless (like 'compliment outfit') but they can really trigger a bunch of cheating drama with the spouse texting stuff like 'my friend says this happened'

I don't mind the spouses getting annoyed or mad at the other person flirting, but to create this whole cheating drama over it is a bit much. There should be a difference in that, especially since I'm not always watching all my zois and the autonomous flirty conversations or greetings are pretty frequent even when the zoi has no flirty personality.

I like the mechanic of a cheating desire, but I hope it isn’t random. It would feel more meaningful if it were influenced by a character's personality or traits. The business system also looks promising, but I'd love to see it expanded to include ways for musicians or bands to earn money as well. Things like gigs, venue bookings, concerts, and even a music shop where Zois can repair their instruments or take lessons. The same goes for artist or painters. It would be great if zois could display their work in art galleries, take on commissions, or even run an art supply store or art school. These are just some ideas that could add more variety to the way zois could earn

Just something more I want to add. How about let players run a boutique where they can design clothes and put them up for sale, or style NPCs for events. NPCs can try outfits on and ask for custom looks for special occasions. A certain drawing and photography skill unlocks higher pay.

I think something to be aware of is to try not to reuse too much of the same mechanics for different kinds of business/career paths, or there won't be incentive to explore the variety

Yeah like the talking interactions. Pretty sure I never saw my zois kiss or romantically hug or whatever autonomously and those are definitely cheating actions. But I mean like they go greet random zois in a flirty way or do the flirty talk options. I had my wife zoi send my husband zoi an angry text where he was and that her friend had seen him with someone else and she got the negative moodlets for being cheated on and their relationship went down the drain all because he did a flirty talk option autonomously when I wasnt paying attention. I feel like if you want your Zoi to cheat that should be a conscious choice and not something that can happen randomly in such a way. Or they should have certain traits that make them more likely to cheat. Right now all my zois 'cheat' because I am not always watching them like a hawk lol it's annoying.

I hope they can tweak all of this soon so that zois only do romantic interactions even just flirty talk with their crushes unless you direct them otherwise.

That’s why even back then it was very unclear to me why there was a shift away from the enneagram toward traits, which now risks giving us dollhouse-like traits disconnected from what the devs themselves called ‘Nature’ of Zoi in the code

If we follow the canon, then the Charmer should be the most prone to cheating due to charm, but if feeling a lack of love, the Sentinel (Loyalist) is, on the contrary, the least prone yet highly reactive to a partner’s cheating. The Adventurer, in the extreme Troublemaker form, might cheat just for fun, while the Peacemaker in the extreme Recluse form wouldn’t go there at all. Traits, however, don’t account for the reason behind cheating, only the raw tendency regardless of circumstances, which doesn’t reflect reality.

Perhaps some kind of “Temptation” meter would help, factoring in readiness for such a drastic step, along with accumulation of a “cheating” ability/trait. It’s certainly not easy to tie this to both nature and traits.

Autonomous flirt actions (charmed greeting and interactions) only happen based on player controlled flirt interactions with many zois over time, which accumulates the Heartbreaker trait that can only disappear or change if a player does repeated flirt action towards the same zoi which accumulates the Faithful trait

I personally like traits which are dynamic and evolving rather than just label a zoi and done. Zois can have initial traits set by the player, but I'll like them to be able to change depending on context. Not sure how this would apply for a polygamy option. Would it work having many faithful partners?

I was thinking if your zoi is polygamous, if they meet a polygamous zoi, it wouldn’t be cheating because both zois are open for multiple partners or their partners having multiple partners. Though, if polygamous zois dates monogamous zois, the monogamous zoi wouldn’t be okay with multiple partners or to romanticize multiple people. As for traits, I was thinking of having a third slot because there’s only two slot to pick traits (which feels limited), and I suggest adding one of these traits “Cheater/player” or “Loyal” because not every monogamous person won’t want to cheat, BUT there are monogamous people who would never consider cheating, so the player should be able to pick. If a polygamous zoi has the “cheater/player” trait, their polygamous partner wouldn’t mind because they are polygamous themselves. Maybe the “cheater/player” trait can be named something else, but still function the same, which is the behavior of zois romanticizing others while already being in a relationship.

I posted in the forum and now here: Zois should move their irises more frequently to look around, not just their head. The "fine" emotion is already the most inexpressive of all, and if we add the fact that the iris stays static in the center of the eye most of the time and doesn't move, the zoi ends up looking like a robot

Dear Kjun, I envy you right now. Here in Germany, where I live, it's raining constantly and there's no snow. So, once again, we won't have a white Christmas, as has been the case so often in the past. That's why I'm more than happy to escape into my favorite game, Inzoi. But at the moment, I don't like it as much anymore because all my Zoi couples are breaking up because they no longer interact romantically on their own. As soon as they get married, they just argue or talk about topics that then also have a negative impact on their relationship log. So I ask you with all my heart to patch this again. Before the Halloween update, there was a hotfix that fixed all of this, and I was very happy to see that my couples were finally interacting romantically on their own again. But the Halloween update broke it all again. So please, please make a German grandma happy again. 🙏 🙏 🙏

While some players might wish to have polygamy in a game. I ultimately think its considered controversial since many regions including US, Europe, Korea etc. is illegal. The Sims don't have it right? This could also effect ratings. Plus when you explained it to me, I was just confused on how a game system could handle polygamous and monogamous dating. I was trying to think of a way without directly labeling zoi as poly or mono, so that might reduce the focus around it, but I can't think of any...I think the last option are mods.

Yes, that’s more or less what I meant too, but grounding in the original personality system in inZOI, since the whole layer of 18 “temperaments” is already hard‑coded, massively affecting gameplay and unlikely to be significantly changed. But I’ve also long been in the camp of dynamic and evolving personality skills/abilities/traits.

The current direction of simply stacking on traits in contradiction to the logic of the core system raises concerns. Reflecting on their initial vision, arriving at such a simplistic method feels like a dubious step.

Yeah..the whole system direction is pretty unclear when you only get to choose 2 traits. I don't remember much about the original one, is it like one dominant trait with other sub-traits underneath? I honestly don't know which one works better, to me both versions seem half baked. This might be one of the core feature that KJun was refering to when he spoke about the need to tweak still 😅 And because the game still has alot of content to add, the trait system does not get to be utilized to the fullest for me to judge if it's great or not🤷🏼‍♀️

The first is OCEAN, which distributes traits across life stages – from 1 for an infant (only traits that may be present at that stage), up to 5 for a young adult (here already the full spectrum up to neuroticism).

The second is the Enneagram, static in itself but with the introduction of dynamic Values.

The third is what we have now: a remainder of the Enneagram, Values, and two mandatory traits for all life stages, not all of them fitting for each stage, and unchanged across all life stages.

I agree I think it’s the fact even though there’s a heart we can still see them and they’re just laying there so maybe have them kiss at least when they accept the “set the mood” and then cuddle before the heart covers it and we see them cuddle afterwards… also @peak surge sims 4 does have a version of polygamy with the whole romantic identity section. You can make it so your partner doesn’t get jealous of having multiple partners except they separate it into not being jealous from flirting, physical flirting (I think…) and woohoo. You can choose whether or not the sim will be jealous of those and ultimately your sim won’t care if their partner has multiple romantic partners… and if directly labeling it “monogamous or polygamous” would be too controversial they could just have an identity marker “carefree in relationships” where they have the Zoi identity under relationships

I love the improvement in this December update. Keep up the good work, Kjun. Hopefully, I'll see new child zois interactions coming soon next three weeks from here I find it enjoyable. I'd love to see parenting like scolding a bad child, preteen, and teen zoi for using the computer to get access to dark web with vpn or without vpn risks for computer to be destoryed in an option on computer interactions that they are not supposed to snoop into the dark web until they grow up to be adults with programming skill little high, and if caught and found out their computer is destoryed gets scolded by the parents, as added in the game for a little extra family drama fun and perfect idea that make gameplay even more interesting mechanic! This is honestly just a future idea I hope that everything fundamental is worked on first but.. like I said before I would love a mountainside woody city but I would also love a new city based on Chongqing!

What I love about it's appearance is that it includes a bridge connecting to another part of the city which I believe the inzoi team could incorporate esp if they want a bigger city and stuff can load in while you get closer to it on the bridge.

I also like how the city is extremely close to cyberpunk. It has a working subway too that I remember kjun did state that he wanted for eventually have working subways too!

What draws me most to the city those is the lights and decorations on the buildings, even the infrastructure, but mainly how colorful the city is due to neon etc. I would love to see a city like this!

I really want to make my own food truck and have the ability to decorate it but uploading a design to cover the truck or picking a color, add a text font to the side for the business name, and set the menu items. Then pick different spots each day to set up and serve the public, whether thats a food truck that serves drinks only or food or both.

Sounds great! Please also have strollers in Dec update, even if stairs can't be used. It would be great to have Zois push a stroller down the street or in a park. Even if they could hold baby and be able to travel to a different destination.

Could we get a pop-up notification if a Zoi is about to give birth? I was playing another family of mine in town, then later went to pregnant Zoi and she'd already given birth and a random name chosen. I had to waste an hour's gameplay to go back to a previous save, so that I could choose the name for the baby. Need other clothes for babies too, or at least be able to edit shade of fabric.

I agree with you! what I think is upon of asking immediately, at first interacting, for "phone number exchange", the likehood to have my zoi to be rejected is high. The odd of being accepted rise as my zoi and other zoi continue talking for few hours, running into each other at college or high school few times before asking "exchange phone numbers" BUT! it's would be nice surprise to see my zoi successful of getting number upon first interacting sometime. Maybe because the reason why that zoi agree to exchange with my zoi because of being in flirty mood, is player, or lonely because zoi's social need is low. It's would be annoying to get it everytime when there was no any reason or progression

Definitely. Big no to zoi(s) easily giving out their phone number to my rudely/impolite zoi upon first interacting or long-time rude interactions. And randomly get contact in relationship panel. The odd of being rejected is high because of that but it would add nice surprise element to inzoi game if zoi agree to exchange number with my zoi. Chance of success maybe like 10%? Why this zoi accept could be numbers of reasons that we have to figure out or make it up in our head for creative. Possibly, that zoi agree only just to block my zoi's number out of annoying of my zoi's repeatedly asking. There could be possible ill intent to do since having enemy's number in the hand. (Tho, i don't know what they are) Or it could be nothing at all. I just want to have the ability to talk to foe/enemy/adversary/opponent/rivalry/has slightly dislike for, over text and call sometime. (Totally stalk on computer as method. Have to have high skill for that.)

⦁ It'd be nice if the worlds had newspapers with a purpose. There could be a list of all zois in the world who died recently and would have a date attached to it, so we could actively scroll through the list of obituaries page.
⦁ A way to opt-in or out of text messages of zoi's who died. We could instead receive calls/ or call and reach out to others about the deceased.
⦁  Being able to host family visitations that would activate when a burial wreath is set outside of a home so those who pass by could give respect to the grieving family. They could also be placed on the door like any other wreath.

When zois go on vacation and head to the transportation shuttle they should have luggage bags in hand to give the effect they're heading off somewhere. And will carry the luggage until they check into the hotel, then will once again appear when they leave.

⦁ When traveling to a different world the time should change also because it remains the same time as the home world or when traveling across multiple worlds. IF this is a possible implementation.

@true lagoon I searched online, and so far what I gathered is that there are ways in the sims 4 that lets you have polyamorous relationships through the romantic boundaries setting but not polygamy marriages which can only be turned on through mods. It'll be up to inzoi to decide if they'll follow the sims like that

Can we have an option to "introduce boyfriend/girlfriend/new friend/family member"? And if the other zois will accept them or not is based on traits, relationship dynamic with the zoi and if they heard any rumors about the zoi that I'm introducing.

This can also give us the ability to "match make" when we think another zoi is suitable for our friend/sibling.

Hi I dont know if you agree with me but I was thinking in something for a better open world, like jumping and escalating, I also want this like something easy to do just press a button and doing it,I fell we need more basic things to do without clicking all the time to our zois, I always love the first person in realistic games, so that way we can run, jump, punch someone, open the car and drive, ride our bike or scooter, I dont know if you want this too but I want fighting in to the game like kicks and punches like other games and also the police being involved, I think is so lame that we are not able to do that

As far as I know, Inzoi only has a first person view when you're driving in a car. And for what you're describing, it sounds very similar to Yakuza (Like a Dragon) which is more focused on fighting in an open world and having criminal consequences. I get the excitement of causing chaos involving fights, but you may need to keep your expectations low for that because the rating may not be on par if you want depth, it's probably only gonna be light, which you might be disappointed

tbh the casualization of the life sim in this way is a bit concerning. In the sense that… shifting the focus away from QoL family gameplay, deeply developed personalities, interactions and clashes of characters, engaging gameplay loops such as life management, business, careers, farming, crafting (here even nice elements of crafting from the LBY were mentioned), etc. may in fact declare that the genre hasn’t truly established itself and requires total reformatting.

This tendency has already affected certain aspects of the game that players found complicated, and in the end we arrive at the point where Malicious Outlaw was liked, and non‑conformism can be further promoted since it is universally understood.

But people like me, who want to role‑play someone complex, to test approaches to others, to try Zoi’s luck (compatibility, karma/luck, fortune wheel), to see how my Zoi’s personality (and personalities of the children) might evolve, affect those around me and the Afterlife… well, get sent packing))

So it’s not that I’m against it all, because I understand that this will ensure the game’s longevity, but I prefer complicated interconnected systems that deepen the life sim genre itself.

Yes, and within the life sim genre there have already been several noteworthy attempts at engaging gameplay loops, with varied control schemes and quests, while still remaining true to the genre (The URBZ, Bustin’ Out GBA/PS2), as well as economic simulators (Farming simulators / FS25, winner of multiple awards, professional/career simulators, cinema/dance/music/star simulators, even news studio and journalism simulators), where the mechanics are so robust and well-suited that inZOI could shine here as a trendsetter within the genre Doodle_Psycat_Stretch

UPD: Yes, sometimes I draw on other genre, such as social simulators (P5R, Bully), interactive movies and VN, action RPGs (Ananta, WD2, RDR), but from them I mostly take immersion or trendy side‑activities, not the core gameplay foundation as a whole.

I don’t believe karma will be gone. I believe they will eventually put it back, but in a different way that doesn’t restrict people but will affect the afterlife.

About traits, I’m sure they can add zois developing personality or evolve as they go. (I think smartzoi already was set as this but needs to be fixed). I have made people I know in real life, who are married, so the trait suggestion is to also keep them together because their zoi self is always cheating. Zois not being able to have different views of how they already react to romance, that will not be realistic. I want to make prominent characters to make stories, but those I do not want to cheat (like an elderly couple) are cheating so I have to keep a close watch every time.

This may seem like it is coming out of no where, but I think it would be cool if in a future update that skills were made more elaborately. Like not just you unlock actions or things with each level up, but that maybe zois can learn new actions or things through reading books or watching videos.

I think it would be cool if zois can learn some new recipes through reading cookbooks or maybe being able to put ingredients together and unlock a new 'secret' recipe. I think this would be interesting for the game to allow progression of skills without it just being something you level up to unlock something.

-# It’s more about the general tendency, where it’s almost suggested to reformat the game into GTA-like, and I expressed concern because Kjun often makes it clear “how much there’s still to do” (this was even when the topic of open schools before release came up) and “inZOI still has many fundamentals to refine and improve” “focus less on developer “ambition” and more on perfecting fundamentals. … I’m sorry if that disappoints some of you.”

And I see so many great suggestions, for ex. from last week and now above creating new recipes, buying (grocery/shopping cart, delivery) and switching ingredients via drag-n-drop similar to LBY. There was also a similar option with the workbench, where you could craft gemstone (jewellery), arrange flowers or breed new varieties.

Also, in LBY I saw a multi‑layered personality of 2x5 attributes, divided into Talents, Attitudes, Lifestyles, Quirks, and Backgrounds (Paralives uses similar groups). Many people liked having 2 traits – but what if there were more, divided into groups, but not mandatory?

I also watched footage of Paralives, and I can’t stop thinking about the fortune wheel mechanic, where in dialogue a risky option appears similar to DnD/Disco Elysium, with the chance of success depending on various factors. Also, nonlinear skill progression, where a trait, talent, vibe or mood can accelerate or block development. And personality growth, where upon leveling up you can choose how traits, vibes, talents will evolve. Likewise, when choosing a job, it’s not only about what you want, but also how well your skills and talents match, and further progression is driven by complexity of perks, not only by classic tasks.

It’s not a definitive statement that everything should be replicated, but we do need more detail in the existing systems.

I realize from reading the comments that each of us already had slightly different expectations when buying Inzoi.
For me, my priorities are, in descending order:

  • Zoi personalities: the more complex (and therefore different from each other) their personalities are, also influencing their needs, desires, autonomous actions, and social interactions, the more I'll like them.
  • a more realistic economic system. When we want rich Zois who simply enjoy life, there are tricks, but even playing without them, my Zois have never had financial difficulties. A few more difficulties in this regard wouldn't be bad.
  • interesting things to do, needs that aren't too stressful.
  • clothes, clothes, and more clothes 🙂 This is an important part of the game for me and includes the possibility of greater customization without mods and a better system for changing outfits, for example, for outside/inside the house.

I believe making it a PEGI 16 game would be a great idea. This genre currently lacks titles that cater to an older audience, so a slightly more mature rating would help the game stand out. It would also give players a good reason to choose Inzoi by offering something new in the genre.
Right now, the market is full of cozy, child-friendly games, yet a huge portion of the player base consists of adults. A PEGI 16 rating would allow for more complex themes, deeper storytelling, and richer emotional tones without losing the cozy atmosphere.
Overall, aiming for PEGI 16 would fill a gap in the genre that many adult players would appreciate.

Kjun please make a option for us to have terrain tool paint for outdoors and to place single tiles for outside building. I find I cannot really do my outdoor lawns like I want because there's no terrain tool or option for single tiles to be placed outdoors for lawns. I noticed a builder on here brought up the issue of trees showing inside buildings and I have noticed this with plants outside too (and trees) that I placed by my house. In one of my rooms I have a plant going through the wall from outside. Hopefully that issue gets fixed because I get the frustration.

🙁 LBY had so many good ideas way ahead of its time. Maybe more open sandbox for others taste but I lovedd the many features it had.

Especially being able to build literally anywhere, adaptable stairs that could stretch to any height, stealing from stores and pickpocketing, needing to buy clothes, every object being disposable so you could literally play rags/homeless to riches and 'find clothing' to wear or food if your character was hungry, car dealerships, the observables systems they had where you had other characters remember things you did in public or said, quest system, etc.

I only hope Inzoi mods could also eventually add these things, in the distant future.

Requesting the devs to wait until single-player is completely finished before they even touch multiplayer is selfish. The devs already made it clear they're developing both. That’s their plan, not yours. Telling them to change their entire workflow just to fit your personal preference isn’t respect, it’s trying to control their project. You can prefer single-player, but you don't get to dictate the devs schedule. You're not the only person who paid for the game.

I would understand if the systems need single-player foundation before multiplayer can be added, but with Unreal Engine it’s already confirmed that it’s best to plan for multiplayer early. And if the devs are fully capable of developing both at the same time, why push back, unless what you really mean is that only players who favor single-player should get to enjoy the game first? If that’s the case, then yes that’s selfish.

Did that happen because you're building near the edge of the lot? Since the trees are something you can't move or remove, it indeed could be annoying.

But If trees can be freely resized and positioned as a plant decor, intentionally soft clipping walls or ceilings, it could actually open up more building creativity. Such as in these examples from Palia (probably not the best example as I just searched in a rush) Players use it as a design element for interior design.

I have to say I fully agree because IMO the base game still lacks a lot and needs lot of work. Everyone has their own opinion on this concerning multiplayer, but I think overall the majority of players want to see more focus on improvements and more added to the game first. In a way I do hope it will be separate and I'm not saying do not add multiplayer at all, but once it is ready I hope it will be a separate option for players because I would never want the focus off the base game which is solo. I wouldn't want something too online focused. They did say they are working on both and if they manage that well without issues then it should be fine, but just as long as the base game remains priority for improvements and nothing is taken away from that focus. Again we all have our own opinions and that's fine. I think Kjun and the team is fully aware of this and I'm sure they will work things out to balance everyones concerns.

I think we shouldn’t hesitate to ask for mechanics from LBY. Last time we suggested a lot from it, and Kjun took note of that:

For those who wanted more GTA‑like features, the life sim implementation provides exactly what is needed:

  • You can visit a car dealership.
  • You can purchase a vehicle in its existing color, or change the color by clicking on it and selecting any from the color wheel.
  • Once you purchase the vehicle, the car keys will be in your inventory and automatically activated.
  • You can buy multiple vehicles. if you want to switch to driving another car, just click its keys and select activate.
  • You can gift / transfer the keys to someone else – simply drag them into another person’s inventory, and now he/she becomes the owner of the car.
  • For good measure, maybe give a little bit of gas money.

I think we shouldn’t interfere with or counteract South Korea’s national interests, nor the agreements between the president and Krafton’s CEO. The importance of this brand, along with its additional funding/ staff, is essential for inZOI’s franchise stability. It reassured me that the game is less exposed to capitalist risks. Kjun confirmed he’ll share information about multiplayer a little later.

It is selfish because you're using you're personal preference to speak for all the players by using "we" and "Inzoi's strength lies in:"...as if multiplayer will not be as valuable to other players and instead seen as a shallow add on. I don’t agree that we have the right to ask developers what projects they should pause, or make up imaginary resource management problems that isn't confirmed.

The fact is that developing and adding optional multiplayer only after single player is done, is actually exactly what you and others fear: take away resources from developing single-player because of all the rewriting of codes, and all the bugs that emerge later, and becoming more expensive to make. Its not impossible to add later, but the cons outweigh pros for a large project. Would you change your point of view after knowing this fact? or would you still persist?

I was once on the side of single player mode taking priority, because there hasn't been much mention about it from the devs. With finally having info on their development, plus knowing the technical fact, I am now shifting towards supporting both optional modes in parallel development. If you are really about respecting devs, protecting what makes Inzoi unique, and the quality, you wouldn't dictate how their roadmap should look, open to multiplayer innovation for a life sim game, and saving resources in the long run by letting them develop in parallel.

Don't worry, Kjun will soon give an answer regarding multiplayer. And then we can have people finally stop being paranoid about it not being optional

It's totally relevant to talk about Krafton's funding and stability, I completely agree on that. It's clear they need money to make a game like this! My goal is just to ensure that money is used to make the best game possible, staying true to what hooked all of us initially.
​Because my worry isn't about economics; it's genuinely about what constitutes the heart of INZOI. I have two big points in mind:
​The Nightmare of Toxicity: INZOI promises us a calm, personal, and immersive vibe. If multiplayer is added without being completely separate, we're going to end up with toxic players who will ruin everything. We don't want our intimate life simulation to be destroyed by strangers who are just there to mess with others. Solo is our bubble, and it needs to stay private and under control (invitation only!).
​Generative AI, What's the Point?: This is the killer question. Why is KJUN investing so heavily in ultra-complex Generative AI, creating NPCs with deep emotions and personal memories... if, in the end, everyone is absorbed by multiplayer? If players focus only on interacting with other players, this incredible technology becomes useless. Multiplayer risks relegating our superb simulation to the background.
​Basically: the best way to guarantee Krafton's stability and INZOI's future is to fully finish the solo mode (the exceptional experience promised), and to treat multiplayer as an optional, clearly separated extension later on.

Childrens can now use bikes and scooters instead of just walking @minor beacon It would be nice to walk and wander around holding hands with your loved one. And “passionate kiss” It would be great if it was added. We should be able to drag and drop items in our inventory and cabinets. This makes gameplay much easier and adds depth to game. Surfing, dancing , yoga , massage and driving can be added as new skills. Also animals/pets need to be add to our house as playable.

I think it’s easier to just watch Kjun’s interview with NewsNation at Gamer Galaxy in Dubai. It covers Krafton’s AI‑first approach, the role of AI in inZOI’s dev, and multiplayer. For me, the constructive dialogue about multiplayer between the President of South Korea and Krafton’s CEO became a major milestone for inZOI and South Korean game dev. Therefore, if you insist on using “we,” please cross me off the list. Not because I’m a multiplayer fan and it’s not as if I don’t share your concern, but because the country is hyper‑successful in exporting its culture and media, I’m into their culture and the way they do things in general, and hopefully inZOI will become yet another successful example of global expansion.

Small functional gameplay features to add:

  • Going for a jog- multiple routes around the city so that you can click on your Zoi wherever they are and “go for a jog”. They will then automatically jog a route from wherever they are.
  • Jogging features:
  • Water bottles- Zoi’s can take a sip from their water bottles between breaks of jogging. The higher the fitness skill, the less breaks needed.
  • Group jogging- multiple Zoi’s can be put in a “jogging group” and they all jog together with chats between them and this builds their relationships while jogging.
  • Car functionality- non household members currently hop out of cars as soon as you stop it or will get out if you don’t drive off fast enough with them in the car. This is annoying when trying to do gameplay of a Zoi picking up their girlfriend or boyfriend in their car to go on a date and any gameplay that involves non household members traveling together.
  • Makeup- a small gameplay feature to add to makeup is having it removed after a Zoi showers or washes their face, and they’ll have to reapply it at a mirror or vanity dresser with a cute makeup applying animation (currently sitting at vanity dressers have no real function)

Yesterday I performed a funeral in Bliss Bay for the first time, and I want to thank Kjun for adding them to the game.
However, I think they could use some improvements.
The grieving widow kept interrupting the funeral-related actions by craving onion chips 🙂

It would be nice if the other Zoi present would spontaneously sit down to listen during the reading of the eulogy.

AI can be a strong selling point if it’s really good, but I wouldn’t put all my cards into it. It’s something that’s constantly evolving but still unpredictable in terms of stability. Branching out while continuing to refine AI in the background seems like a better approach, in my opinion.

These days, many companies release games on multiple platforms to reach a wider audience. Adding multiplayer is essentially the same idea to bring in more players. If you’re confident in AI, why assume all players would end up choosing multiplayer? Each mode has its own player base. I never understood the "choose one playstyle only" mindset some people have. *Where single-player shines, multiplayer may fail; and where multiplayer shines, single-player may fail.*People who enjoy both tend to be the happiest.

Also, what’s with the distaste for multiplayer? Don’t try to undermine Korea’s multiplayer games. Even though I only played a few, they were very popular back then and really highlighted Korea’s PC gaming culture. My first Korean MMORPG was Fiesta Online. It still gives me nostalgia. Then came Dragon Nest, Blade & Soul, and Tera Online, which was my favorite. It’s actually from Krafton (I didn’t realize that until I started following Inzoi). I don’t think it’s fair to conclude that multiplayer is some kind of misfortune that steps over single player. China is Korea's next competitor, and they are already innovating bold ideas with flexible single and multiplayer modes.

Hi kjun, I really wish that in one of the updates we could save all our complete families on Canva, with all the presets, it's really bad for gameplay, having to create everything, and only being able to save just one zoi and with just one definition of clothes, makeup and accessories, the preset function is good, but it's not enough, sometimes we just want to save our complete family or download and play.

That's a very interesting and well-documented viewpoint, especially in recalling the incredible legacy of Korean MMORPGs like Tera Online. I absolutely respect the idea that KRAFTON seeks to diversify and innovate.
​However, I want to be very clear: I definitely do not have the mentality of choosing only one playstyle. This isn't a matter of personal preference; it's a matter of development strategy.
​The issue isn't a rejection of Korean multiplayer games, but a fundamental distinction between genres. An MMORPG is built on networking. INZOI, on the other hand, is built on the promise of emotional intimacy and complex AI.
​You're right, Generative AI is unstable and unpredictable. And it is precisely because AI is INZOI's biggest gamble that it needs the team's full attention to be stable. Diversifying the core game mode—shifting from solo to multiplayer—before the AI is solid is taking a huge creative risk that could dilute the game's unique selling point.
​I want everyone to be satisfied. That's why I insist on technical separation: to ensure that those who love the solo experience can explore the AI without toxicity, and that those who love multiplayer can have a complete and stable mode later on.

I've been pointing out the fact backed by unreal engine doc that multiplayer is best when planned early. No comment for that? You would rather have them bolt on later with more code problems? Regarding AI, how do you know they lack resources to give full attention to their AI department? A Multiplayer mode requires a different skillset of developers, so they are separate. I'm not sure if they hire only multi-skill devs.

Also, we don't actually know what type of multiplayer it will be. Whether it'll be something small like private, invite-only sessions or a full server-based system. That's still unclear. You're already assuming multiplayer wouldn't involve any complex AI generation, but what if it does? In that case, the multiplayer mode woulld still share the same AI core, just with a different playstyle. BTW, multiplayer in this case isn't a different genre; it's a different mode/playstyle. The genre is still life-sim. You wouldn't call the multiplayer modes in Stardew Valley or Coral Island a separate genre...

I'll try to stop overthink about this and wait for a solid answer on all questions and concerns (sorry if the tone sounds abit confrontational, I can sound like that when I start to ask questions 😅...)

I hope this makes sense. If a group wishes for optional multiplayer to not be developed until the core gameplay is finished, hear this, this just defeats the whole purpose of adding a multiplayer later because the code is very hardwired to support only a singleplayer experiences, so to add a optional multiplayer later will never be a solution because the game would break. These ideas to postpone is only going to exclude multiplayer no matter how it looks or is written. One of the reasons why sim’s 4 never went multiplayer is because it’s core is singleplayer coded, to add a multiplayer later would break the game if the codes are heavily singleplayer focused. This is why InZOI’s optional multiplayer should be developed now. Why some suggest multiplayer to be developed along side singleplayer, IS to save optional multiplayer in the future as a feature. This isn’t to say, put all resources to optional multiplayer. Kjun and his team are working for both experiences. The president of Korea suggested multiplayer and there are others who are waiting for a optional multiplayer, yet hasn’t play InZOI (my friends and my siblings included). During wishlist, there was people who asked for multiplayer but I don’t know where they all went, I assume they left or went silent. I see big YouTuber’s their fans asking if there’s multiplayer in InZOI, but there isn’t. When you and others ask to postpone multiplayer, you’re asking for it to be removed completely (but maybe that’s what some of you may want).

Currently, I feel like the whole drama InZOI had went through with certain YouTubers, have also affected how people view InZOI when it’s only an early access, they could have cause InZOI to be skipped by potential players who were waiting for full release. For me, I had left InZOI community only to come back with a different account, but I don’t know where the others went.

My bad. I will still say a heavily coded game with singleplayer only, would still exclude multiplayer all together. InZOI is a life stimulation, I believe this is way more complicated to code because it will have way more systems, so it wouldn’t be an easy job to implement multiplayer later unless someone wants to break the game.

This is what I saw “Official multiplayer was never a released feature of The Sims 4; it wasn't cancelled in the typical sense but was dropped during a troubled development cycle. The game's core code was ultimately designed for a single-player experience, making official multiplayer integration unfeasible after launch”

Actually that would be a brilliant idea. Setting the mood feels so... vague. When you read the word Zoink your brain completes the image without getting too graphic. The options could be Zoink and Zoink for a baby. For teens instead of pretend to be adults it could be pretend to Zoink or practice Zoink.

I have a funny story where one of my Zois was hooking up with a date and her roommate was at her computer desk not reacting. It should have been a situation where if another Zoi walks on to two Zois Zoinking that one of two reactions should happen. They should either run away and get an embarrassment moodlet. The couple could apologize afterwards. Another reaction might be controversial but, the other Zoi can try to peek and get a small "Peeping Tom" moodlet. This could cause the couple to yell and get angry scold the other Zoi.

This can also be expanded to more Zoink locations. So many players have been requesting more places to set the mood. It doesn't have to be graphic and can still have the giant heart. If two Zois are caught Zoinking in public NPCs can act shocked and run away, try to peek (and gain Peeping Tom moodlet) or call the cops. If caught by the cops they could get a scolding or a fine.

Its little details like this and the cat eye plumbob that make Inzoi feel unique with its own identity.

Regarding multiplayer and the fear that it'll take away precious development time:

I don't think we currently have anything to complain about as a single player audience when it comes to the pace and quantity of content that's being added to the game. Each development update Kjun proves to us he and his team are highly motivated to make this game a great experience for single players. They listen to what we want, and next year they'll spend an entire year using our feedback to improve all of the single player systems theyve put in place during the past 8 months. We're not deprived of good development. We're spoiled.

Knowing that, Kjun's team has been experimenting and developing multiplayer since launch. That means that they were able to spoil us like this and also develop multiplayer. On top of that, Krafton is expanding the Inzoi team hiring new developers. So they'll be able to do even more for us than they're already doing now. Theyve already proven they can easily combine the development of single and multiplayer. Just because you haven't seen anything from multiplayer yet doesnt mean they aren't spending man hours on it right now.

I personally don't care about multiplayer. But as @ripe basin has mentioned, this isnt something they're doing just because some people in this chat asked for it. This is a major strategy decision made by executives at the highest level. We cannot influence this decision. Therefore I think it is counterproductive to use your messages here to call for a cancelation of multiplayer.

What you can do, is tell Kjun how you'd prefer to see multiplayer. You can tell Kjun you want to be able to completely ignore it. Many people have voiced that wish, and I'm sure theyll listen. Or if you do want to play with it when it'll arrive, what would you like to do? What concerns do you have? Voice those. But realize that you have no power to stop this from happening. You only have power to contribute to the direction they'll take.

One thing I really would like to see and wished were the core of more animations. Are reactions and more actions without needing our zoi to participate each time, if that makes sense. Like when your in video games playing GTA for example you can be shot at without needing to wait for a loop animation to happen all the time, where they need to be in front of each other for every action and reaction. Im sure theres a more technical term for it, because I dont think directional animation are it?

As I said in previous brainstorms, fines for traffic violations are better to be implemented through police patrol, because automatic punishment kills the fun instead of giving challenge and excitement. If you already know the result, it feels like a direct ban from using features. But if cops might be hidden in traffic flow / catch you in an ambush, that’s unpredictable and exciting.

The perfect way not to impose on players while staying lawful: a police career branchpatrol service with corresponding functions in career or free ride mode
-# you patrol with a partner, record and resolve violations (such as traffic violations and accidents, disorderly conducts, assaults, hit and runs, thefts, robberies, vandalism, frauds, domestic disturbances/noise complaints) and escort suspects to jails for further legal measures.

UPD: also want proper road incidents/confrontations, not just a time‑rewind animation, message and a moodlet (it was better before, wasn’t it?). And encounters with cops too, with issuing a fine or escorting you into a police car and taking you to a holding cell.

I played Inzoi again today after months, and I finally managed to capture some strong portrait shots.
I’m still amazed by how realistic the graphics are. I really hope Inzoi stays like this and doesn’t downgrade the visuals just to please low-spec players

I wish it snowed more where I’m from. We get mostly ice if anything.
I just have a couple of ideas to request.

I know you are able to gift money to other Zois, but I wish there was an interaction for Zois in relationships to “ask for money” and get a random amount from their bf/gf.

As a mostly rotational player, I wish you all would consider a system that would differentiate our “Played Families” from “Unplayed Families”, so they are culled differently from NPCs. When you switch between Zoi’s in different households, your other household becomes essentially an NPC and NPC game settings affect them and their calendars. I would love to be able to set the calendars to each of my “Played” Zois so that they attend the same places at the same time, but as soon as I switch households, their events are replaced, they lose their jobs, or they die, etc. It’s very frustrating.

Players can decide if that zoi is loyal or a cheater and decided their love language: acts of service, quality time, etc. Maybe this can have an effect on relationships if their partner is not interacting with them according to their love language. Just a suggestion! Psycat_Blush

It snowed a lot here in Korea, so I posted a photo—and someone mistook it for an inZOI screenshot. I’ll just take that as a compliment to the game. (Joke!) 😁
Over the past week, we received a huge number of community feedback, suggestions, discussions, and many questions and messages of support for our team. Thank you so much.
Many people have been guessing the update date. Since we’re still in Early Access, it’s difficult to give a fixed schedule yet. A lot of users predicted something around December 21, but once again, I’m really sorry—I can’t give you a confirmed date today.
However, since Christmas is in December, we will release the update before Christmas.
While talking with all of you, I realized how frustrating it must have been to receive unstable builds at times. As a developer, I’ve felt some self-doubt recently. Starting next year, we’ll adopt a new development process to ensure better stability and better progress overall.

Character Customization & Relationship System
We received many requests to allow different hairstyles and makeup sets depending on outfit categories. For example, natural looks for pajamas, and separate styles for suits, sportswear, or casual outfits.
Our team completely agrees. The feature to match outfits and makeup is already done for December, but unifying outfits, accessories, etc. is still in progress. Full development should finish early next year. I think we can show some of the work-in-progress soon.
There were also many requests for a contact exchange system between Zois. I loved this idea. In real life, you need to exchange numbers before you can contact someone, and people also need blocking and deleting functions. I now feel strongly that we should build this system.
Some users also suggested blocking system messages—honestly, that’s a great idea too. Whenever we talk together, good ideas always come up.
Requests for traits like “faithful,” “flirtatious,” and relationship types like polyamory vs. monogamy also came up, along with personality-driven autonomous actions. Trait additions will be included in the next update.
Many players complained about all Zois cheating too easily and wanted behaviors to change based on personality. We will fix the “everyone cheats” issue in the December update. If timing becomes tight, we’ll try to roll out a hotfix.
We also received requests about children’s emotional reactions during family conflicts such as divorce or affairs, and dialogue options to keep secrets or confess. Some emotional reactions are in the game, but they’re not enough—we’ll strengthen this system.

Life & Social Systems
Many users pointed out that faraway NPCs and cars suddenly disappear or pop in due to distance culling, breaking immersion. As you know, this is tied to optimization. We’ll try adding improvements in this build.
There were many requests for a minimap, a driving minimap or GPS, auto-drive functions, and improved vehicle navigation.
We’ve FINALLY started development on the minimap. It won’t be ready in December, but we plan to add a small minimap—like the ones used in driving games—after that.
For funerals and death systems, there were requests for death causes, obituary pages in newspapers, funeral visits, condolence interactions, etc. Some improvements will come in December, and we’ll continue enhancing the system over time.

Economy & Business Systems
Players asked for new business types like cafes, restaurants, salons, nail shops, supermarkets, clothing stores, and more, along with deeper management systems.
To be honest, the business features coming this December may not fully meet your expectations yet. But we will keep building them.
Vehicle parking—being able to actually park your car, own multiple cars, choose them, transfer them, and gift them—was also discussed.
This time, we will do our best to get parking into the update. ^^;

Convenience Features & Daily Life
Requests for lighting and home automation continue to come in. Auto on/off lights when moving between rooms is totally doable—I simply forgot. Year-end schedules are busy, so it slipped my mind. I’ll talk with the team first thing tomorrow morning. ^^;;
Users also asked for TV/music auto-control, first-person view, jumping, climbing, minigames, and other free-movement interactions.
We’ll also quickly work on:
• more baby clothing colors
• restoring the lost Apocalypse Mode
• a schedule-copy function
• and a low-spec graphical mode while keeping current visuals for others.

Community Feedback & Roadmap
This week, many discussions revolved around single-player vs. multiplayer priorities, technical separation, and community toxicity. Many are waiting for an official roadmap.
We will share the full roadmap for next year within 1–2 weeks. Sorry for the delay.

About Dance Animations
So many of you mentioned dance animations recently. I really wanted to add dances for you.
I asked an animator who has worked with me for over 10 years, and he kindly agreed to make them quickly. Because of that, we can include them in the December update.
It genuinely makes me happy when I can respond to your requests.
We capture motion with mocap, the animators hand-adjust everything, and we communicate closely with the actors during the process. I want to share these behind-the-scenes clips with you as well.
We now have 7,700 motions in inZOI. I’m truly grateful for our animators’ hard work, and I want to show you the new dance animations we’ve added—so I’ve attached a video.

Object Popping In/Out:
Make items popping in and out because of optimization optional. Some of us have really good high end PCs and should not have our gameplay experience limited because of optimization for lower end PCs. Give people options so they can enable what best fits their PC.

Character Customization:
Please add darker shading and/or redish tint to Zoi elbows, knees and knuckles. Humans are not all one color so Zoi's shouldn't be either. Zoi bodies are too playdough looking at times. We need the ability to add moles, celulite, stretch marks, etc. Maybe even an option for adding acne 😆 . These options will make Zois look more realistic and unique.

Parking Cars:
Woohoo! 🎉 I look forward to when parking cars is possible and that you can just come back to it where ever you parked it, instead of it disappearing into thin air.

I also hope it's possible to increase pop-in distance, we have lods for models and extra distance can be very low to make them less abrupt (I wonder if the performance is on something else other than GPU from having things on screen at once and that exceeded testing)

The news about the return of the apocalypse mode is very encouraging, it would be good to work out this function in more detail, so that food delivery would not work in this mode, cars would not drive on the roads, neighbors would not let uninvited guests in, regular work should also be inaccessible, there would be no electricity and water,
to get them you need to collect a garbage generator and parts of abandoned cars and a rainwater filter, also NPCs should become more aggressive and be able to take away things and supplies collected by the character, this is my personal management of the apocalypse.

I think it would be cool if we could get salsa dancing, the waltz, ballroom dancing, maybe ballet and Tap dancing? Regarding driving I think it would be nice if teen zois could be taught to drive by their parents and also eventually take a driving test!   • I’m glad they mentioned a hot fix for everyone cheating but we still need a fix for married couples not interacting romantically on their own.
  • I’m glad they’re adding exchanging numbers, blocking and deleting Zoi’s and hopefully only Zoi’s who exchanged numbers or got it from a mutual friend can contact you.
  • Crossing my fingers for an in game social media platform where we see Zoi’s share their current statuses and posts pictures our Zoi’s can like…
  • And also excited for trait expansion, adding traits like “flirtatious” or “faithful” and MORE business types like grocery stores, hair salons, etc. after December bc this is what I’ve been waiting for!!😭😂
  • Lastly I’m still waiting for them to mention aging cheats: a cheat to age anyone up or down and hopefully customizing the amount of days in each age group (but maybe editing specific days could be a mod?)

Now that it's confirmed that the apocalypse feature is being re-added could we also get the convertible car type/jetskis readded as well?
Also I'm really happy that a jump feature was mentioned id love the ability to jump over gates or just be able to jump in general.

Please consider adding a cheats panel where all cheats are in one section so that we don't have to type each cheat but instead could press a button

I agree with others who've stated we need facial feature presets I'm hoping we could possibly get a new section for different kinds of teeth: braces, vampire esque teeth, gap teeth etc.

also different walk styles + voices.

I remember in a previous brainstorm kjun mentioned that one/some of the following would be added in the December update: skateboarding, extensions on surfing, roller skating. I would love to see further updates or showcases on the feature that will be added ❤️

Can we get methods of evading the police? Asking for my degenerate zoi. I’m okay with her going to jail, but it would be nice to have her have a chance of escaping sometimes.

I do like the new police investigation event prior to arrest for computer scams ! Maybe there can be an event like that when ZOIs are caught scamming other Zois or robbing atms with event that results in a chance of arrest or escaping. It would be fun gameplay if there was a game mechanic for the criminal scrubs to have a chance of police evasion every once in a while.

I am adding other people’s suggestions in here (Will add this again in the next Kjun update):

  • Add a social media platform where we see what goes down in social media, like post, comments, pictures, news, etc.

  • Add jump ability using space bar (Reminder).

  • Add first person mode (we already have third person mode, would like a first person mode, aka, seeing the world through Zoi’s eyes) this is a reminder.

  • Ability to park in garage (We also need an actual garage and a functional garage that opens for car and close to secure the car)

  • Add different types of dance animation base on genre of music.

  • More depth into Ghostplay.

  • Add InZoi’s identity (story) with gameplay and added in cut scenes to make the story more important and immersive. An example of this is, every game you play has a cinematic cut scene for prominent characters, or when a mission is completed in a main story, or to story tell.

More Dances for Couples
I mentioned this in a comment below be we need more slow dancing animations like at least 6 variations. 3 different styles of slow dances for adults, and which could also include some spicy ones that can increase couple intimacy: salsa, bachata, argentina tango, merengue. They could even be a skill couple can learn together and get better with over time as they level up!

But I'd like to see Jamaican dance hall dances too for different styles that can be done solo or with groups! It'd really give a vibe when they're at the night clubs.

I truly love the slow dance option we will see in the December update!!!! 😍 I also love how our requests for grocery stores, salons, restaurants, shops are being heard!! And the option to be able to park our cars!!! I do hope option to travel together in car will be a option and option for other Zois in our household to drive the same car. For example spouses should be able to have a shared car. One MAJOR request I have is to add more variety of long hair. Layered hairstyles and curly, wavy, straight long hair. I will show great examples of hair we don't have, but really need. Kjun I thank you for updating us and letting us know our requests are taken seriously. So this suggestion is regarding weddings. I think it would be nice to have a father daughter dance and maybe even an option to have either parent( incase one died) “give them away”when walking down the aisle . I’d also like to have a buffet that we can set up and even an option for guests to bring gifts. Also I would love to see more kinds of wedding dresses!

Thanks a lot for once again standing up for all the “hi‑end PC” users (even though my laptop’s just like an average PC, I still run RT+High/Ultra), and I’m really glad that Kjun considered the request worth addressing and overall guarantees support for the best possible experience – hopefully for everyone, but not at our expense, since we purchased the game in its best form, and he understands that.

Every time I read reviews and looked at survey results, the realistic, detailed graphics were always listed as a major strength. Even when there was a negative comment, it was often paired with this positive note.

Sooner or later, devices (PCs, laptops) with 40–50 series GPUs will become even more accessible (we’re already seeing slim non‑gaming laptops with 5060–5070 up to 150W TDP), the game is still at the beginning of its journey, and in 2-3 years it’ll also need to be able to impress and stay ahead. Picking up Students from School
Im not sure how complicated this would be but wanted to throw the idea out, even though we arent yet discussing schools. But itd be nice if we can have options to select how we want our zois kids picked up from school. By car, taking school bus home, or walking. If its by car the parent or another family member who drives will pick them up. School bus will have multiple students on who will get dropped off as well.

MORE WORLD SOUNDS

  • more siren noises from police, ambulances, and fire trucks in city ambience
  • If we get volumes for tvs, radios, and car radios. With 5 levels, Such as: very low, low, medium, loud, very loud (or 1-5). We should be able to hear these noises medium-very loud ranges, through walls, and from other cars when they pass by though muffled depending on proximity. But if a window is opened or door opens it makes the sound clear before muffled again.
  • Heavy rain sounds on house and car roofs
  • Heavy wind against windows
  • Loud crash when theres car accidents
    -If its a big crowd of zois more talking ambience especially in night clubs, and restaurants

Dear Inzoi Team & Mr Kjun - Is "Move Cities" in your December 2025 plan? If moving cities between player's city maps not applicable or not in your plans for Dec 2025 than when will it be in your roadmap? Very important task is to fix Dowon , Bliss Bay, Cahaya to be able to travel to player's city maps. I know its a huge major task but have it in your plan bits by bits. No point arguing about whether Multiplayer or not if this travelling/moving cities between player's city maps is not implemented. You can imagine and you know how the gameplay will function. Hence need to finish fixing/updating Dowon, Bliss Bay, Cahaya first before anything else. That is when INZOI is ready for full release than Multiplayer. Thanks❤️ Icon_Heart

An improvement of the wedding venues in general is needed. I completely agree with having a buffet but also a portable toilet is vital as well. You wouldn't need to see the interior and just have it as a rabbit hole. I've had situations during weddings where everyone was starving and people needed to go to the bathroom.

There's a fridge and a stove at the wedding venues but they currently don't work. Somehow it feels like the lots are missing a caterer or something manning the "kitchen" area. It would be cool if we could hire specialized NPCs for weddings. With these specialized NPCs they are only limited to doing certain tasks such as bartenders, musicians, caters, servers and officiants.

The way kids commute to school is different around the world, I’d like to see that reflected in inZOI one day if possible. Kids in Dowon may walk solo, but kids in bliss bay may take a bus or have parents walk with them. I remember an interview where KJun wanted to do worlds that took inspiration from the culture and customs of that place. This would be a great way to honor that.

I’d also like if we could travel with babies. We can pick up toddlers and walk them to places, but it does get tedious when the location is far.

Chores would be good for parenting as well. “Ask to do chores” can prompt the kids to clean something. Also, “ask to do homework”. I mostly let my zoi’s kids do their thing without controlling them. Having the parent tell them to do their homework or helping them with homework would be helpful for those with a similar play style.

I agree. Travelling with babies is time consuming. I like taking them to the park, but when it's across town, it takes all day. It would really be helpful if we could put them in carseats so we could travel by car. Also strollers..hint hint, wink wink. Some gameplay ideas for retail and clothing store gameplay:

  • Allow us to edit outfit presets on mannequins for Zoi’s to buy in clothing stores. Zois can then try them on in fitting rooms, checkout at the cashier, and then get a cute shopping bag to carry the clothes around in once checking out. (hopefully more of the set dressing buildings around Nook’s can be opened up bc it would make a really nice area to shop for clothes)
  • Clothing items (aside from the ones you pick out at the start) will be locked in Caz and only accessible when bought inside clothing stores!! This would create really immersive gameplay with clothing.
  • Wardrobes and dressers can hold inventory of clothing bought by the Zoi, along with outfit presets already owned.
  • The outfit presets bought in stores should be linked to specific categories (everyday, cold weather, sleepwear, etc…). This way we can have multiple outfits per category inside our Zoi’s closet inventories.
  • The inventory of each closet should depend on whatever Zoi is being controlled when you click on the closet. This way we don’t have to assign specific ownerships for every closet bc those closets would be unusable for Zoi’s who don’t own it and it could get complicated.
  • Allow clothing stores to become active careers and apart of the “my business” feature in the future.
  • Gifts that can be bought in stores instead of just online: flower bouquets (coming with the update), Stuffed animals, Chocolate boxes, Purses, Picture frames, Perfumes, Scented candles. There are many stores where it would be appropriate to sell these items.
  • Open up furniture stores so that Zoi’s can go there to actually buy furniture for their house. We still need a household inventory category so this can be where all of the bought furniture can go.

I think that in some way there will be chaos, everything is too sterile and predictable, why not create little troubles when moving to a new home, let’s say a story with a mysterious roller who left a mess in the apartment and simply disappeared (no) his ghost is still wandering there. Or a stone collector left his collection, evil neighbors, etc.

Okay one thing I miss from other said game. Are food delivery workers in their car bringing pizza, Chinese food, and groceries. They would leave it at the door if you didnt come answer the door. I would love to have this become a thing but it be an actual job, where NPCs and zois can take on to get money.

Exactly thank you I agree!! As much as the stuff they’re adding is cool I’m starting to feel like they’re drifting away from small details and gaps in between that make the game feel better to play longterm (kinda scarily reminding me of EA a tiny bit) which is why I try to make many detailed explanations and ideas to make sure they don’t forget about us players who actually still care about these details as much as possible bc it doesn’t matter what they add if none of it is fulfilling/ quality gameplay at the end of the day…🙃 my hope is they’re just getting the bigger systems out of the way first and then they will come back to fill in the gaps as much as the majority reminds them but for rn I’m sticking to my little world in sims 2 until the update and then I’ll get some gameplay out of that and then back to the sims 2 lol

Yeah hair like that is needed. I hate using cc cause it always causes issues for me. I prefer they add long hairs like that in the base game to save all the trouble. Issue is there's only one style I can use that is closest to my hair type and it's not long enough and just looks kinda flat. I wish the team would add more variety and long hairs with fullness, some layered styles. I think in general we lack variety of long hair.

Hello Kjun, here are some ideas I’d love to see in a future inZoi update. I really enjoyed the dance animation video, and I’d love for Zois to be able to perform a romantic dance such as a waltz. It could include small sub-actions like resting their head on their partner’s shoulder, holding each other closely, or even sharing a kiss while dancing. For clumsy or awkward Zois, there could be a chance of accidentally stepping on their partner’s foot, triggering a negative reaction, refusal to continue dancing, or an awkward moment between them.

In the future, I would also love to see additional dance styles in the game, such as ballet and maybe even a ballet studio.

Another idea is to add traditional Christmas foods from South Korea as well as Western holiday dishes—such as roasted turkey, chicken, pork shoulder, panettone, lobster, and maybe even eggnog. I think having festive holiday meals would add a lot to seasonal gameplay. It would also be great to have a champagne bottle for toasting during New Year celebrations, along with elegant outfits for the occasion.

For children, it would be really charming to include interactions where they can ask their parents if Santa Claus is real. If the parent answers “yes,” the child becomes happy, but if the answer is “no,” they react with sadness.

These ideas could bring more warmth, personality, and emotional depth to holidays and social interactions in the game.

Honestly for me one small addition that would totally improve my experience apart from what was discussed already is having the option to preview the house whenever we are choosing a house for our Zois in the map and it's honestly a totally realistic thing to do because we all look at pics or go visit the place ourselves whenever we are deciding a place to live, just let me look inside the house before buying it please.

As a programmer myself, I know multiplayer is a huge challenge. It takes a lot of problem solving, and I think a lot of people who don’t develop games do not understand this. I wished it wasn’t a current focus and something developed later on. If you guys have the time and resources, then for sure. But if it takes up resources away from perfecting the current game then maybe it shouldn’t be a promise made too early. I was watching neuworld and there wasn’t enough control to make a narrative. He wanted to create a backstory where someone was cheating but the wife would find out right away even though she was all the way at home. His character died and he didn’t have cheats to revive him. There’s still no multitasking so you can’t create a real party. Making the zois feel alive should be an emphasis on the gameplay. Everyone’s asking for so much random things without perfecting the core game. Things like setting the mood is very distracting with the giant red heart, instead maybe make the heart a little smaller and only cover the bed? Or there should be an animation where the zois seductively get on the bed. It doesn’t have to be both, one could lay down on the other side and the other crawls up on the bed on the other side. Showering with a towel on is really immersion breaking. Im not sure how you guys will find a problem to this solution without fully ripping of the sims but if it’s not their personal IP then maybe do the same thing? If the emphasis is on teens and adults for audience i don’t believe it would be a bad thing to spice up the game a bit. Another thing is a lot of from rag to riches challenges are ruined from the mandatory welfare check. There should be an option to accept it or not. But if everyone is brainstorming ideas here is my wish list:

Making the zois flirting less cheesy. Too much aegyo, adults don’t flirt like that.
Giving them trendy tiktok dances or K-pop dances. Dances that don’t look tacky at a club.

Anyways, I hope I don’t sound negative. The inzoi team is talented and the progress has been amazing. I often watch gameplays and these are things I notice that make the game less enjoyable: Please, please, focus on the foundation of the game. Some other things: turn off autonomy of other households in the same save file so they don’t do unpredictable things like die or get pregnant while you’re creating a story.
A lot of big creators are fun to watch because they make their characters do out of pocket things. I complain about fixing the base game before adding new features because every time there’s a new feature it gets added to the long list of things to fix or improve on. The features seem half-complete.
The jobs could be more immersive. You have fire fighters but you can’t put out a fire. You have K-pop idols but no performances and group members to dance with. There’s no incentive to really do task at work. Work on turning rabbit holes into real jobs. You can’t control the swimming or diving. Trick or treating is very awkward and seemed like it was a rushed implementation. Real trick or treating is when they knock at the door and you don’t let them in the house. You give them candy at the door, not outside. There’s still no garages or ways to blend the boundary of the house with the street. Families should focus on staying together when going out. Traits should make a zoi do certain behaviours (but not like the sims 4, where if a sim is athletic they are always randomly doing push-ups). Currently, the cops catch you way too easily. You should be able to be a straight menace and wreak habit for a little bit. Zois are unable to flirt without being interrupted. Weddings are a mess and unrealistic. No one dresses up or sits still for the ceremony. Keep up the good work, this game is always improving and I want it to succeed. Edit: just saw the update for more crimes, pretty cool! And the implementation for trials was fast.

KJun seeing as you're adding more dance types I'd love for you to add in a option in the character creator to pick a dance type for each individual character with the in game available dances, be great to work with mods later too. Like the dance you put in this video would fit in with an outgoing character but if I'm playing a ZOI who more reserved or shy this would be a bit much and I'd need a more timid default dance for the character with a less of a look at me dance. I think this would be a great way to show unique personality through already available animations where a character personality can shine and not have everyone always dancing exactly the same unless you make them do a different dance.

Hello inZOI team,

I’d like to share an idea that could further enrich the gameplay experience.
Adding fully functional cruise ships would allow Zois to truly enjoy the journey, with onboard activities such as swimming pools, bars, nightclubs, restaurants, and relaxation areas, instead of travel happening off-screen.

In the same spirit, a fully functional airport would greatly enhance realism and immersion. Zois could drop off their luggage, go through security and baggage checks, queue for tickets, wait in seated waiting areas, and enjoy restaurants and souvenir shops before departure.

This kind of system would make traveling more lively and memorable, while significantly strengthening immersion in the game.

I propose a new version of the temporary objectives UI. In their current state, they feel unfinished: the thumbnails are too small relative to their panels, and there is too much empty space. I suggest a more compact layout — the same height as the emotes panel, narrower in width, with larger icons. When an objective is completed, its section should briefly light up green and then disappear.

I really want the ability to hold hands with someone while walking,
an animation for the shark attack, a 3rd person view of riding the roller coasters while also leaving the first person view staying if needed. Skateboards!

I would love bonnets, new curly long hairstyles, locs, and cornrows, and longer hairstyles that have physics!!

Please open Elegance Lounge earlier than the new 6:00pm.
My Zois used to like sitting on the balcony during the day, for lunch and meeting up. Such nice view in the day! Now my Zois are locked out until evening.
Also please allow it to be editable as I'd get rid of the locked door and glass walls, and I'd put a couple of sofas and tables back in there.
Was nice as a restaurant, although upstairs does look cool with the added features.

I love these dances, thanks for sharing 🤩 especially the second partner-dance is amazing. I hope in the future will be more dances of this kind, with different styles (Salsa, Disco Fox, etc.) and a dancing skill. The higher the skill level, the more dances will become accessible.

For the December update I hope babies, toddlers, childs and pregnant Zois get some attention: 🍀

  • babies shouldn’t have teeth and toddlers shouldn’t have a full set of teeth
  • babies and toddlers shouldn’t have bigger heads than bodies.
  • childs should have smaller cheeks/ heads and looks not like a balloon
  • shorter adolescents (between child and teen)

Speaking of pregnant zois, I want pregnancy to be easier to mod in this game whether through lua or otherwise. For former sims players who could toggle whether any character could get pregnant or not for example, that would be fantastic.

It was a lot easier to mod back when pregnancy ran through buffs. It now being locked behind a data asset with limited ability for editing is a real disservice.

Regarding the wall decorations added in the recent update, I noticed that some Alphabet plaques are missing.
The following letters do not seem to be available: G, H, M, S, T, and U.

Would it be possible to add them so the alphabet can be completed?

I've unfortunately noticed that holding hands is missing from the romantic commands, so I can't fulfill the ambition: striving for love. Please fix this; holding hands is really important to me.

I like that we can make mixed drinks. But, you should make those drinks purchasable at the lounges and clubs. The bartenders don’t do anything when your zoi visits.
